Publishers need to confirm veracity of projects

I bought this for my 9 year old. Every parent knows that you want a high probability of success for the child to maintain his/her enthusiasm. The book does not have an errata site and the projects ( at least the first one) are not confirmed to work. I even adjusted for updates from other reviewers but they only check the context - not actually attempting the projects. The exact same project and problem apoears in the second edition as well. Garbage for novice wanting to learn and successfully build their projects. Honestly, i tried to give it a zero star.

Well laid out and informative

Very well paced book with a great deal of information. I never found myself feeling bored or overwhelmed by it.
