I just have to say that I became a huge fan of Gabbie's a long time ago when I read her first book Unspoken promises. I have to tell you this was a great second book in the series. You will most likely want to throw your kindle within the first chapter because you will be like no flipping way that happened when things were starting to get so good with Matt and Abigail.. but who doesn't love a little drama to thicken the plot! I was so happy to hear that there was more to Matt and Abigails story but damn if this book didn't end in a little bit of a cliff hanger. I love you Gabbie but I may have to hunt you down to get some more Matt and his pancakes, and not only him I can't freaking wait for Trey's story! I will have to say there were times when I wanted to shake Abigail and say what the heck are you doing this is Matt were talking about just suck it up and find a way to figure things out! So to all of you they haven't read either one of these books yet I will not spoil it for you but I will tell you get your butts in gear and go get them now! Looking forward to much more from Gabbie, thanks for another crazy ride in your mind!

I don’t know what the future holds between Abigail and I, but I’m praying it’s a future of forever.

Unspoken Promises picks up where Unspoken Memories left off. If you have not read book one in the Unspoken series, you will want to read it first or you will not understand the story line. The story is told in the POV of both Abigail and Matt.

The story begins so nice and sweet and it made just want to swoon, but then, Matt's man-whore ways of his not-so-distant past begin to bite him in the ass. Do you remember Lisa, the chick he banged on the kitchen table, from book one? Well, she comes knocking on the door and drops a bomb on Matt and it changes everything between Matt and Abigail.

My biggest mistake has been that I’ve grown used to keeping things to myself. I’ve learned to shut out the world from my emotions that were dwelling inside of me after Emily died. It took Abigail for me to love again, but I still made the mistake of not being honest with her. It needed to stop, and it was going to stop as of now.

Matt is still trying to deal with his sister's death and Abigail is still struggling with her memory. But their love is strong and if they stick together, they can conquer anything.

This next quote is hands down my favorite in the entire book and is being said to a girl from Matt's past trying to upset Abigail:

“... the difference between you and Abigail is that I merely fucked you, I just made love to her in there, so that’s what you’ll smell when you go in there.”

I have to warn you that it ends a bit cliffy. It wasn't a jump of a ledge, but the story is definitely not over. But I hope that we don't have to wait 9 months for book three like we had to wait for this one, because I want it now! I can't really say much more without ruining it for you!

Gabbie has done it again!!

UP is book two in Abigail and Matt's story.

They have some much to overcome when the past comes back in book one.
Book two.... there is even MORE to face from their past.

With both of them doing fighting for each other and fighting against the people trying to tear down their HEA I knew it would be a wild heart wrenching ride!

Matt is still so loving and kind.

"Abigail was the light at the end of a darkened tunnel that I was trapped inside of. I had refused to keep walking forward when Emily died, but Abigail finally forced me to take the steps to awaken her. She helped me find the light within myself."

He faces something that about broke my heart. Something that i thought him and Abigail would never be able to get through together. But you have to realize that you MUST face your consequences after the actions you make.

"Hitting the steering wheel, hoping it will compensate for the pain that is tearing me up right now, I picture a broken Abigail back at home."

It will always come back to haunt you.... unfortunately.

If that isn't enough of a struggle, Abigail goes through a sprain to her ankle. Being that she is a runner she takes it very hard.

So through this story you see how this couple comes together to face the demons of their past along with problems that arise.

I'm very happy with how this ended. ESPECIALLY the POV of the person i least expected to hear from.

I CANT WAIT FOR UNSPOKEN ENDINGS!!

This was a great follow up to book one. It sort of picks up right where book one left off. If you have not read book 1 then I say READ it now! There are less dreams for Abigail concerning Matt's sister. The problems between Matt and Abigail have yet to be solved. The author creates this high and low by adding obstacles for both characters. There is a time when I wanted to hate Abigail for something she does to Matt. There is also a time when I wanted to smack her but I have to remember she is still without her memory. As for Matt, well just as many instances I wanted to smack him. I remind myself that he is young and not nearly as worldly as she is. Aside from that he was very "active" let's say, before he met and moved Abigail into his house.

There are still problems for this duo that must be resolved. I really want to get to her career. I know she is not physically ready to really work as she used to but I hope book 3 focuses on more of her future. I really see them together as a couple but there is always a but...Can Matt be faithful? There was so much drama for him in this book that I think maybe he has been cured of the wandering eyes.

I enjoyed the minor players in this book as well as Matt and Abigail. I liked how Kelly plays a role in the friendship area. I think Trey is the perfect friend to both Abigail and Matt. When he feels she is right he sides with her. When Trey feels like Matt has done wrong he sure tells him so.

The good base is there for the next chapter I cant wait!

I read Unspoken Memories when it first came out for a blog tour and I knew right away I was going to enjoy it, as well as then next books in the series. I couldn't wait to read this book.

Unfortunately, I had to. But it was well worth the wait. You must read Book 1 first to get the full details and background before you read this book. But I promise you, it is totally worth it.

When we left Matt and Abigail in book 1, it was almost wrapped up into a nice pretty little bow. Almost. Then we are just smacked across the face with a doozy intro with this book.

This is one of those books where you know something is going to happen, and it isn't going to be pretty. One hurdle after another hit both Matt and Abigail and you are in for a ride.

The ups and downs of their relationship and the obstacles they face are tiring. The way they handle them make you want to shake them, slap them and tell them to wake up and grow up.

This book is amazing, and I was left a little miffed, and sad but yet very excited when it ended and I saw there more to come in book 3. I will be anxiously awaiting for it's arrival. Totally recommend this book to all.

This book was an amazing and perfect follow-up to 'Unspoken Memories.' The relationship is special between Matt and Abigail and it's obvious to the reader from word one. Abigail's character was far more needy and less self assured in this novel. At times this made me want to reach through the book, smack her and tell her "to grow the hell up". I think I felt so strongly though because I was already looking at her like a sister! Gabbie Duran drew me into her characters and they became an extended family for the day that my world revolved around Abigail Adams. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good romance!! I really liked how this book ended.... with enough suspense to keep me curious but not a full blown cliff-hanger! It was a pleasure to read this book!!

**This book is not recommended as a stand alone. To understand many major plot points 'Unspoken Memories' must be read**

Unspoken Promises is book two in the Unspoken series. It is not a stand alone. You need to read Unspoken Memories, book one in the Unspoken series first.

Wow, Unspoken Promises start of with a some big news and end with some big news. It starts where the first book left off. We are thrown right into the drama of Matt and Abigail's relationship. Abigail and Matt's relationship goes through a lot of drama in this book. At some points I felt Abigail was a little bi to whiney. but Matt did put her through a lot. Matt causes some unneeded problems because he just wasn't up front with some things. Trey of course is his usual funny self and adds some smiles and laughs to the story.

It's an emotional roller coaster of a read. The ending leaves you with some questions. I am definitely waiting for book three in the series Unspoken Endings to come out.

Unspoken Promises is book 2 in the Unspoken Series by Gabbie S. Duran. It

continues with the story of Abigail and Matt.

In book 1 we are left with everything between them being almost perfect, but we are

hit with a sledgehammer right at the beginning of book 2.

If anything can go wrong for this couple, it does. Throughout this book, Abigail and

Matt struggle to stay together. They deeply love each other but the lies and secrets

just keep pulling them further apart.

I didn’t love this book as much as the first because I just got so frustrated with

Abigail. It was really hard to feel sorry for her this time. She was the cause of most of

her own pain.

There is a cliffhanger at the end of this one, but I still cannot wait to see what

happens to these two.

I'm really enjoying Matt and Abigail's story. They have me going through all the emotions. From happy, sad, excited, frustrated. You name it. The last little bit from Bill has me scared as to what is to come for Abigail. I can't wait for Abigail to finally look at what's in the drawer. It's killing me she hasn't even looked yet. Bring on the next book. I can't wait for more of their story.

To much wishy washy shit going on. Fighting, jealousy, lies and secrets. I hate starting a book or series that just pushes all of my buttons in a negative way. If I start it I finish it hoping for a turn around sadly it's just never happened.
There is nothing about Abigail or Matt that I like at all.
I pretty much skimmed through the sex scenes that were that boring.
Hopefully this next book gets better but I would be surprised if it did.
It seems Abigail can't be trusted around other men. Even though she professes to love Matt it didn't stop her from reacting to a total stranger when doing a modeling shoot.

Idk... I’ve so many mixed feelings about this book.... so many fights, half truths, half lies, all fixed with some sex.... how this could be categorized as love??? How you don’t trust the one you claim to love the most?? Neither one is truly invested in the relationship .... I hope get better with the last book

A little too much angst

Way too much Laura (the ex) in this series for me. He’s kissed her a few times between this book and the last and I’m over it. He doesn’t get a gold star for stopping either. And Abigail… staying with a cheater has turned her into an angry insecure bitter shrew.

DNF! I wanted to give this a try because I enjoyed the first book. I forced myself to read as far as 20% and couldn't do it anymore.

From the beginning Abigail was annoying. Matt wasn't much better. When reading a book I want to root for the couple. But I disliked Abigail and Matt that much I didn't care if they ever sorted out their problems.

I was hoping that this book would give me more than the first one did, specifically about Abigail's amnesia. I couldn't understand why she never tried to find out more about her life. This is more a pet peeve from the first book that has carried over on to this one. I think this is why I was really annoyed by the relationship drama from the beginning. I expected so much more.

First let me start off with you will want to read Unspoken Memories before you read Unspoken Promises. This is because Unspoken Promises picks up right where Unspoken Memories left off. Matt and Abigail finally admitted their feelings for one another. FINALLY!! I mean everyone around them knew. Unspoken Promises is about just that promises. Either the unspoken or spoken kind. Matt he tells Abigail he promises that he will fight for them no matte what come between them. Let me tell you, their relationship or lack there of, is tested a lot in this book. The major factor is Lisa. Enough said about her. I would like to kick her and Matt's a@@. We all know Matt was a playboy and now it comes and hits him right in the kisser. Abigail does the one thing she knows how to do RUN! Between trying to regain her own memories she has a few that are not her own. You know when you truly love someone because every where you look you see them. Even though Abigail tried fighting her feelings for Matt she can't get rid of him. He is every where. I loved the drama. It was a page turner for me. I wanted to know if Abigail was going to kick Matt in his balls or just give up on him. The fact that Abigail can hold her own when it comes to a cat fight is bad a@@. I mean she gave it to Lisa that bitch. Makes my blood boil LOL!! Abigail tries to make things happen on her own. She is tired of standing behind people. She gets modeling jobs on her own. When it comes time to tell Matt he gets pissed and wanted to help her when it comes to that. Abigail handles things like a champ and reminds Matt that she has to do it on her own because of the mess Bill had created. Speaking of Bill he makes a small appearance in the end. That is all I am saying about that. I can't wait to read Unspoken Endings. I wonder will Abigail and Matt get their happily ever after? What on earth is Bill up to? Does Abilgail get her memories back? All these questions!! Get your copy of Unspoken Memories and Unspoken Promises today.

I literally flew through Unspoken Promises. I started reading it two days ago and then next thing I know, I reach the Acknoledgments page.

I liked how Unspoken Promises was focused on Abigail and Matt's relationship. I like how sweet they are with each other, and we really get to see how in love they are with each other. It's adorable.
But, I need to say it again because they apparently don't get it: they need to communicate more! I mean, they do talk to each other, but they're always keeping something from the other. Every time they say there will be no more secrets, they go and make the same mistakes again, it is seriously frustrating. I hope they get a grip on that in Unspoken Endings .
That aside, they are still a cute couple. I also like how both of them get great opportunities for their careers, they are both moving forward and it's awesome.

Besides all of that, I must say I just knew that Abigail didn't hurt herself on her own, it was right there. Oh, and the last chapter is just perfect for the intrigue. I am so going to start Unspoken Endings right after I finish writing this review.

So, overall, Unspoken Promises gets a 3.5 stars for me, which is a little less than what I gave to Unspoken Memories , because I kind of got annoyed with the typos that I kept seeing while reading. Even though those are a thumbs down for me, I still really liked reading the book, so yes, 3.5 stars for Unspoken Promises.

PS: Happy Valentine's Day!

“I may never get my memory back, Matt, but that first memory brought me to you and I cherish every… single... one since then. Those memories alone are worth never knowing who I was.”

After finishing Unspoken Memories (Book 1) I have been dying for more Matt and Abigail. Finally the wait is over!

"Matt was mine to keep, and there was nothing that was going to take him from me."

We pick up right where book 1 left us. Matt and Abigail are finally together. But that all changed the very next morning. Matt's past has come back to haunt them and the news has completely broken Abigail. She doesn't know how to feel, so she moves out. Her heart is broken, but she knows she can't deny she still loves Matt. But how can she ever trust him?

"I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do, but I know I'm going to get her back."

Matt never thought about his past catching up to him, until it was staring him in the face ruining his future. One thing he knows for sure is he will get Abigail back. No matter how long it takes, he just has to figure out how… he knows it won't be easy.

Eventually they can't deny how they both feel, but roadblocks keep standing in their way. Abigail and Matt both have a lot going on in their life, but they both need to learn that secrets will destroy what they have built. Can they learn to trust each other again? Or will they let the past and secrets destroy their love.

"Beautiful, isn't our love worth fighting for?"

I have to say I loved the first book more than this one, but still can't wait to see how the story ends. I didn't find Matt as swoon worthy this time, like I wanted to. And I was so glad Abigail has found her way back to her career but it just seemed off. I don't know if it was all the flashing of memories/dreams or the conversations/arguments that were quickly resolved that made it hard for me to connect with the characters. But overall it is a continuation of Matt & Abigail's story and although the ending is a somewhat HEA (like book 1) you are left wanting to know if it will last and where they go from here.

This series has me hooked. I haven't come across a couple who fight as much as Abigail and Matt do. For as much as they have finally professed their love for each other, they still can't find a way to trust each other. Matt continues to keep things from Abigail and when she finds out things just go haywire between them. But Abigail starts keeping things from him as well once she starts the modeling again.

Abigail starts feeling like Matt is starting to control her and the last thing she wants or needs is someone trying to control her all over again. She had enough of that will Bill and doesn't want to go through that again.

Even though I get frustrated at times with these two characters, you get immersed in the story and start feeling like you're part of the story. I wish I could go into the book and slap some sense into these two sometimes. But as much as they frustrate me, I love them all as well. They have so much love for each other that they're willing to put up with their lies from each other. Once they find out they've been lying to each other, they bicker and fight but manage to kiss and make up again.

I'm looking forward to reading the conclusion to this story. I am saddened that this story is going to end but I'm wishing that they will both get their happily ever after because they deserve it. I am anxious to find out what happens with Abigail's modeling, if it's going to kick off and she'll start remembering her life before her amnesia.

So much to find out in Unspoken Endings.

This is the first series I read from Gabbie Duran and I am totally loving it. I can't wait to read more from her!

****WARNING THIS BOOK CONTAINS ADULT CONTENT*****

This arc was given to me for my honest review.

This is the second book in the unspoken series. It is highly recommended you read these books in order.

This book is told from multiple POV's

Wow this book picks up right where the first one left off. Matt and Abigail finally get the chance not only to tell each other bit show each other how they feel for each other but, how long can that last? Well with the luck they have till morning, when a knock on the door turns everything inside out Lisa is back with news that will make Abigail move out of her home. Matt with have to do everything he can to get Abigail back. With so much going on Abigail is all over the place. She is worried about Bill coming after her. She is trying to keep a wall up between her and Matt even though she loves him move than anything. She is training for her next race. Along with everything else her career is picking up again. How will she bale nice everything and come out happy with the love of her life? You'll have to read the book to find out this series is to good to give anything away.

For the second time I am blown away by this wonderful story. Poor Abigail is going throughout so much you feel like your going through it with her. Her and Matt's struggles and successes will feel like your own as you follow this series.

Because each book in the Unspoken series has a beginning, middle, and end, I suppose that each could be read as a stand alone book. I would, however, recommend reading Unspoken Memories first, which is the first book in the series.

Beginning just after Matt and Abigail declare their love for one another, Unspoken Promises sees their relationship be tested by mistakes in Matt's past. Much of the book centers around Abigail's lack of trust in Matt, which is not entirely unjustified by Matt's actions. Abigail continues to have no memory of her own past, while at the same time, continues to have memories supplied by Matt's dead sister, Emily. Abigail continues to develop her love of running until she is sidelined by an injury.

The constant fighting over Matt's actions started to wear on my about half-way through the book, as did still not knowing what happened to cause Abigail's injuries beyond her having fallen down stairs. The author alludes to more to the story, but never really delivers. I enjoyed the book, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if the story were more fully developed over the course of the series.

As in the previous novel, the sex scenes are rather explicit, as is the language, so the book is not recommended for anyone under 18.

I love Gabbie Duran, her books pull you into the story. Unspoken Promises was fantastic. Although at time's I want to toss my kindle across the room and beat a few of the characters over the head.

Unspoken Promises picks up were Unspoken Memories left off. This is not a standalone and you should read Unspoken Memories first. Abigail and Matt have final made things right and they are happy. It was short lived and in steps a bunch of drama.

This was a great follow up to book one, you can tell that Abigail and Matt have a connection no mater what they are going through. But this is one of those book were you know you are about to get a whole lot of drama. Matt and Abigail had many obstacles they needed to face.

I will say I wanted to shake them, or beat them with my kindle. There was so many obstacle they had to go threw it was a bit tiring at times.

This was an amazing book and series. I can't wait! we get a book three in the series Unspoken Ending. This is one series you don't wont to miss out on.

Finally the two admit what they feel for each other as they finally made love but the next morning quickly changes everything again.

Matt finds out that one of his sex buddies is pregnant and he is the father and of course Abigail finds out when the mother to be confronts him. She is once again hurt and vows not to have anything to do with him even moving out and staying with her friend.

Not only she has to deal with that but his ex-girlfriend whom he loved and planned to one day married keeps popping up but she left him when she went off to college in another state. Every time she is around she keeps kissing him intimately and touching him like she still owes him.

How much can she forgive and forget his past or will it always threaten their future? Will she ever regain her own memories or is it too painful even now after six months has past? Will the past be ever healed or will it keep threatening them?

We wait and watch for their drama to play out.

This book starts as soon as the last one finishes. I was hoping in this book we would see Abi and Matt's relationship develop. But all we had was them constantly lying to each other. It drove me that mad I actually wanted to bang their heads together. I mean how stupid can you be in a relationship? Lying gets you no where. But the fact that they both lied about the simplest of things ruined it for me.
For some reason I do enjoy the story and these characters. I don't love them but I do like them.
As with the last book there was a lot of stuff being repeated. And it got really annoying for me.
Abi seems to have turned dependent on Matt, like she can't live without him, no matter what he does.
Matt needs to be more of man and do the right thing.
I felt like the story went round in circles of both Abi and Matt lying about different things, and it got boring.
But I did enjoy andi will be going on to read the next book in the series!

I was eagerly awaiting this 2nd installment of Matt and Abigail.
It's just as sexy and intense as the first book.

You will feel for both of them in this book. Both ache and hurt! However, secrets are being kept and with all the secrets can they ever get and HEA?

You will love Matt even more in this book! I loved him so much in this book! He's full of sweet and amazing words and loved watching him in this book and his true love for Abigail.

Abigail- you will feel for her as well. You will love her and then despise her a bit a time or two.. but you will see she always does and will love Matt.

If you loved them in book 1 you will love all the characters here in book 2.

You will be on an emotional roller coaster filled with love, hate, pain, lies and omissions until the very end!

And that end.... woah!!!
I can not wait for the next book!!!!

5 stars from me!!!!

I was kind of disappointed with the characters in this book. I loved them in the first one but they annoyed me so much in this one. I still enjoyed the storyline but it focused too much on Matt's psychotic violent anger and Abigail's lack of communication. Personality traits that really got to me were (1) Abigail during one interview was rude for no reason the whole time. (2) Matt is too aggressive and won't leave her alone... He screwed everything up but refuses to give Abigail anytime to forgive him. He just forces himself onto her.
