Very frank look at the dark side of the phenomenon of the Chippendales.

Parts of this book read like a hilarious romp from someone in his twenties. Parts are bittersweet, and some are hard to believe. It is entertaining and probably resonates as much today as it did twenty years ago. Gives new perspective to what constitutes the life of a male dancer and the dysfunction it causes in life.

Decent read

The book was fairly engaging. It was a redemption story. I’m not overly grammar obsessed but there was a lot of spelling mistakes. The editor has to be changed. Overall, it was an interesting behind the scenes look. I thought there would be more on the scandals of Chippendale’s like the Steve Bannerge drama and tragedy and the management of Chippendale’s but it was mainly focused on Troy’s life.

I love the true stories of legendary culture. The way they started is amazing.
