Miracles
Stuart makes the point that creating miracles in our lives is no more complicated than understanding the metaphysics of the Universal Law, which states that within human beings there lies an immense power . . . and this power is impartial and unemotional. And because that law is indestructible and therefore infinite, we know that the power used by miracle-makers in the past is still available today. Yet, in our modern society, we are brought up to believe only in those things we can logically understand. We are not taught that the Universal Law has limitless potential or that this power is at our disposal and can be used to work miracles in our lives.

Stuart Wilde
76 books153 followersWilde was born in Farnham, England. He was educated at St. George’s College, Weybridge, Surrey. After his schooling he joined the English Stage Company in Sloane Square, London. A year later he opened a jeans business in Carnaby Street London, at the height of the Swinging Sixties where he enjoyed considerable commercial success.
He studied alternative religions and Taoist philosophy for five years from the age of twenty-eight, and when he was thirty-three, he emigrated to the United States of America where lived in Laguna Beach, California with his first wife Cynthia. He wrote his first book, Miracles, in 1983.
Shortly thereafter he began a career as a lecturer appearing mainly in New Thought Churches and at New Age conferences. In the 1990s he toured regularly with Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay, appearing at venues such as the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
tuart Wilde is a prolific writer, with eighteen of his books published to date. They appear in more than fifteen foreign languages, with a total of ninety-three different books and audio works in circulation.[2]
He executive produced and was the lyricist on the music album Voice of the Feminine Spirit (1994), which sold several hundred-thousand copies. He later produced and was the lyricist on two albums of Celtic music, Voice of the Celtic Myth (1997), and Creation (1999), and wrote the book and libretto for Tim Wheater’s oratorio Heartland (1995).

This is a great little book on how to get what you want. If you like your information straight forward and to the point this is the book for you.
I listened to the audio book read by the author. It has some additional material that is not in the book, but expands on the topics of the book.
What I liked: He gets right to it, no waffling on. I loved listening to it read by the author as he has a fantastic voice. The additional material was a real bonus too. It is so short and simple, but gives you a lot to think about.
What I didn't like: Nothing. This book is a keeper.

I have read this book and listened to the audios every few months for the last 5 years, it will forever be a favorite.

Very short but good
This book is much much shorter than I expected it to be. Will take you less than an hour to go through. However the information it contains is all good. It's a distillation of Abraham Hicks concepts in a brief clear manner. If you're already very familiar with Abe this may not add value. I thought it was much better than The Secret because it was structured more simply and stressed the importance of feeling vs acting.

Short read full of positive messages for daily miracles
This book is a great short spiritual read. Full of wisdom and universal insight. We don’t have to hold onto thoughts that aren’t in our interest. They are just thoughts that are testing how much we want what we want. Once we choose to ignore negativity then we move to a path of love and light and towards what is in our own best karmic interest.

Great Little Book
What I liked about this book was it's simplicity. The author went right to the heart of the matter at hand. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes in miracles and would like a blueprint for creating them.

December 21, 2022It’s a great relief to hear that my nonstop self-praise, consistent focus on only my life, love of receiving without giving, and lack of desire to do anything to improve the world aren’t terrible terrible character flaws which make me extremely undesirable to maintain company with.
Turns out I’m like a spiritual master who everyone would be lucky to talk to because my blinding output of light might rub off on their pathetic, sheepish lives that I’m not judging them for because I don’t judge people.
I mean why would I judge people who are 3 levels of consciousness below me? They’re not really even people at all.
And they won’t be until they get a chance to come listen to me call myself a heroic gift to the world with divine power and beauty.

Explained the basic of how to visualise and manifest and how to back that with strong belief . This book also tells a decent step by step sequential actions to be taken to manifest.
However this book also tell us lots of things that's not backed with proof or examples of similar experiences . Example Author experienced the passing phase and goes through a pipe towards the light or heaven and meet the god and comes back . Now this might be a hallucination occuring during death phase. Just my 2 cents

Was given this book by an old friend in Seattle as he thought I’d be entertained by it.
The epitome of ‘80s New Age spirituality, this book reads like a modern TikTok on manifestation. I can see how the author puts aspects of Taoism, Christian Mysticism, Buddhism, and Western Individualism into a blender and spits this pseudo-spiritual concoction out. Looking into the author’s life path after reading this was even more entertaining.

Uplifting and a nice book. Glad I listened as there was a meditation at the end, although he was a rather fast speaker. The concepts were easy to understand, but I'd have to listen again or read it physically if I wanted to take the ideas any further. I feel there should have been more examples of miracles happening in history to help make the point, but overall good.

Stuart Wilde’s Miracles offers a New Age perspective on success, health, relationships, and more, presenting a concept where manifesting your ideas and believing in their success becomes the key to transformation. Wilde emphasizes that by aligning with the Universal Law, we can access immense power to shape our lives, almost like self-brainwashing to achieve great heights. While these ideas are mesmerizing and intriguing, I couldn’t help but feel that they shift the focus from God’s power to man’s will. Perhaps this will grow on me, but I personally prefer to rely on a higher power in guiding my life.

I started reading this book and liked the simple manner of the book. But then out of the blue, the author exclaims, "There is no God." And that's when I decided to put it down. So its a DNF from me, something that I rarely do. There are better books that work and are written in conjuntion with a higher power. Its hard to imagine the absolute perfection of the universe and the human body without a central power governing it all.

I had read lots of books that talk about law of attraction, but this one is totally different, deeper and simpler at the same time the thing that make me consider it as special.
Although I do not agree with the auther's view of God, I can admit that it's still very close to the way I've often thought and believed...
