In 2009, American bartender Anna Sweet intertwined her drink-slinging fingers and settled into her plane seat. She was flying across the world to learn to teach English in South Korea. Leaving behind her family, friends, and boyfriend, she was ready to explore a new continent. Luckily, she was always a fan of traveling gritty. Over the course of her two years living abroad, she would encounter bath house nudity, aggressive monkeys, bed bugs, scam artists, squatter toilets, essentric travel buddies, and rickshaw adventures. OneSexPlease is an honest look at how traveling with an open mind and a free spirit can be often rewarding and usually hilarious. Anna laughs at herself and her culture as she collides with the new places she visits, making friends, making mistakes, and living life to the fullest.
Interesting . . .Enjoyable . . .there are some editing issues where it seems like she repeats and explains the same things in different chapters and places where the writing could be improved but definitely worth reading
good but pretty simple description of a couple years teaching English in Korea. Assorted stories, some interesting insights, but only average storytelling.
