Loved this super sweet holiday romance! Riley is 35 and retired from the military 3 years ago and now runs his own security business with his best friend. When he stops some purse snatchers and returns it back to its owner, he meets Jenna. Jenna is a 29 year old divorced single mom. She's devoted to her son and hasn't dated since her divorce but there is something special about Riley. I adored this couple and the chemistry they had from the moment they met. This book takes place over the holidays and it's super sweet, low angst and has a good amount of steam. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by this author!

I have been blessed to have developed such a great relationship with Ann, she is so sweet and wonderful! She is one of those authors that has been there from the start of my blog page and I love her. I think it's a big plus that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE her books!! She was gracious enough to send me an advance copy of her book. Just like her previous two books, this one did not disappoint, if anything I think this might be the one I love the most. It is very upbeat, and even though there is some drama, and intense moment they are never too dark and intense.

This story starts off on Black Friday, with Jenna, a divorced single mother, having to deal with having her purse stolen after finding out that the store was out of what she was looking for. While waiting to deal with the police, in comes Riley, a former military man who comes to the rescue and gets her purse back. Instantly there is an attraction, it's been years since Jenna has looked at another man, having been hurt by her ex-husband. But Riley surprises her, slowly breaking down her walls. A simple invite to breakfast turns into a great relationship. Slowly Jenna lets herself fall for Riley, she can't help it especially with the way that he treats her son Cam. Riley treats him more as a son than even his own father does.

We also see how much Cam begins to trust and become attached to Riley. Riley himself cannot explain the intense feelings he feels towards not only Jenna, but Cam as well. He wants them both in his life forever. But of course there is drama that comes when everything seems to be going right. Wade Blackwell, Cam's father and Jenna's ex-husband, comes into the picture. He is jealous of what Riley has with Cam and Jenna. He believes that Jenna is still his. There are some crazy revelations and intense moments that occur once Wade is involved in the story, moments that I did not see coming. WOW! Loved every page of it. Jenna and Riley love one another, but will they be able to work past Wade coming into their lives and trying to tear them apart?

This might be my favorite Christmas time, holiday story to have read. It's fun and lovely but also intense and emotional. I cannot wait to read Ann's next book. Don't worry Colt and Shane! I still love you both!!

Ann Vaughn has given us yet another amazing book. We get Riley ex seal and Jenna. Riley has a the need to protect and help Jenna from the first time they meet. They are both instantly attracted to each other only thing is Jenna has a 10 year old son Cameron but that's not problem for Riley because he falls in love with them both.

So during this book you will laugh and fall in love with a few people. Mike for one is freaking awesome I won't tell you why I think this but I loved him as part of Tessa's team in long way hone but in. Home For Christmas it evolves to something beyond words. Then we have Riley 's mom, dad and brothers all three of them and wow even through their short appearance you just fall in love with their characters. Let's not forget Colt and his humour but when Riley needs him he is a phone call away and does everything he can to help. We fall in love with these characters not only because they are apart of Riley but because they accept Jenna and her son cam with open hearts. The love you see from the beginning to end was so amazing even when things got bad you just knew that Riley would make things right some how and he did with the help of those he trust. So I won't say anymore except pick this book up it freaking good!

This was a super sweet romance, perfect for an easy read. I loved how the author was able to write an endearing romance without the typical angst that so many novels have now (no cheating, no major misunderstanding, no breakup). Now there was plenty of drama with a strung out ex-husband, but the story focused on the relationship between Jenna (a single mom) and Riley (an ex-Navy Seal). Their love was sweet, pure, healthy and yes, hot! I also loved how even though Riley was an alpha male, he did not try to take over Jenna, but respected her independence and parenting. The story was well written and had a great cast of supporting characters. Being a counselor myself, I loved that Riley’s cousin Lainey was a children counselor who worked with Jenna’s son. The epilogue was amazing. It showed how blended families (who are all mentally healthy and stable) can work. My favorite quote was at the end of the story when Jenna and her son gave Riley his Christmas present: “we thought that the most special thing we could give you, was our love and the hope that you would finally feel you belong. So, that’s what we wanted to give you: us, and a Home for Christmas.”

Another AMAZEBALLS book from Ann Vaughn! So first let me say if you haven't read Long Way Home and Finding Home you need to go buy them ASAP because while all these books are standalone, they do have intermingling characters. And the fact that all 3 books are the best books I have read in a long time!! This's book has it all! The oh so handsome Riley who has a heart of gold and a very protective side meets single mom Jenna and is immediately drawn to her. Wanting to get to know her and her son Cam. After spending some time with both of them, Riley completely falls in love with Jenna and Cam. This was a really great melt your heart book! A wonderful Christmas read, but I can tell you I will be reading it even in the summer time because it really is that good. Ann Vaughn definitely has become one of my absolute favorite authors ever!! I recommend every single book she writes. You will not be disappointed!! I give this book a thousand AMAZEBALLS stars!!!

I'm not really sure how to express how much i loved this book! it was Fantastic! Jenna is a single mother of ten year old Cameron and Riley is an ex Navy SEAL who owns his own security and does a spot with the SWAT team his uncle is in charge of. When Jenna has her purse nicked, Riley is the guy that comes to the rescue and retrieves her purse from the thieves and the blossoming romance begins from there. Riley is her knight in shining armor who comes to her rescue in all situations that happen as he tries to pursue her. I loved that you got to read not only from Riley and Jenna's POV but from Wade, the ex husband of Jenna's, Cameron and as Wade starts getting in some trouble, you even get to read the POV of the criminals too. I think as i read the story i couldn't help swooning over Riley as he so romantic. Jenna and Riley's relationship is amazing to read and sometimes i found myself smiling at some of the heart felt moments in the book. It took me a day to read as i couldn't put it down, i loved it that much. You have to try this book if you haven't read this as its a worthwhile read and you won't be disappointed.

My Review:
4.7 Star Review - A Home For Christmas

I recommend this book.

This book contains passion, a kidnapping, and some very funny parts.

Riley witnesses a bunch of kids snatching purses and chases them down to get the purses back. When he is returning the purses he meets Jenna. She thanks him for getting her purse back and he asks her to lunch.

As the story unfolds you get pulled into the sweet and loving side of Riley. He is a natural protector and try's to protect not only Jenna but also her son Cam from her ex-husbands problems.

You get to see just how strong a person Jenna is and how far she will go to protect her family.

Cam has a lot of anger issues because of his father and how he has been treated by him over the last few years. Sometimes it seems like some of his thoughts throughout the story are of a much older boy.

As Riley and Jenna spend more and more time together you can see them falling in love. You can also see how that love is making Cam very happy.

Very good read. Can't wait for Ann's next book. Hope some of her next stories will be about some of the other characters from this story.....

Jenna is blown away by Riley: his looks, his smile, the fact that he ran down the purse snatchers, everything.

Riley Stanton had no idea when he chased down the kids who stole a few purses that he would walk into a room and have his life changed forever. He looked into Jenna's eyes and saw a strength in her that he found intriguing.

Riley soon learns that Jenna is everything he ever wanted in a woman. He falls for her and for her son harder than he expected to. Jenna is cautious but welcoming and hopes that she and her son can give Riley the one thing he hasn't had in years, A Home for Christmas.

Jenna never expected that getting her purse stolen would turn into the best thing that could ever happen to her.  When she met the person man who stopped the thieves - she got more than her purse back - she got a date for breakfast!

Riley knew the minute he met Jenna that there was something there.  She's a single mom, raising her 10 year old son - and he's and ex-Navy Seal trying to forget the past and the pain of war.  From the first day they met, they were practically inseparable.  Getting to know each other was so easy - especially after realizing that they both knew each others families.  But, Jenna still had to be careful because her son, Cam, was still the most important person to her - and she worried how he would take to her and Riley and any relationship they may start to have.

Riley was such a caring and tender guy - he really had Jenna and Cam's best interests at heart right from the beginning.  He knew things were moving fast with them - but he knew what he wanted, and was going to do what needed to be done to protect that.

This was a great Christmas read - including all the things that Christmas should be about - love, family, forgiveness, hope and home.

This was such a great read. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. Riley is an amazing man, who is just perfect for Jenna and her son, Cam. He comes along, in my opinion, just when she needs someone to be there for her. I really loved that he wasn't afraid to step up and be a part of a family, not just for Jenna but for Cam too. There are a lot of men who wouldn't even take a step in that direction because of Jenna already having a kid. I loved how Jenna just kept trying to go everything by herself, since that's what she was used to. But even more, I loved that Riley wasn't afraid to step in and tell her that she wasn't alone anymore, and to let someone take care of her. That just melted me, in such a good way. Ann is a fantastic author, and once again she's made her characters so real and relatable. Her storyline is fantastic, and I've got to say that I really would love to read more about some of the characters in this book; Mike and all of Riley's brothers. Ann could just have a series with them and I'd be so happy reading all about them. Either way, Ann is on my permanent get that new book now list of authors.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest revew.

Ann Vaughn has quickly become one of my favorite authors-EVER! There's romance, hot service men, Channing Tatum!-just kidding, no Channing Tatum. Channing Tatum has nothing on her alpha men, especially Riley! He just melts your heart! Literally, I just love Riley! This is not just a Christmas story, rest assured. I will be selecting this book for my bookclub when the time comes-and my month isn't December. Just, wow. Loved this. Give yourself a present and check this book out! It is only 99 pennies! How can you resist! This is just a feel good read that will make you swoon with each word! Yay, Riley!

I love how this book has romance and suspense at the same time. I felt like I was watching a motion picture. I totally believe in love at first sight since I've experienced it first hand.
Starts off at a restaurant where the first time they both laid eyes on each other. And how Colt was eaves dropping to Sarah's conversation with her co-worker, over heard one of them said her name and where she worked... When Sarah and her co-workers were ready to pay for the bill and finding out that Colt had paid for it. When she arrived at her work, there was a bouquet delivered to her work from who else? COLT! And there's a card with his email address and the rest is history.

"When I looked up from my phone and saw across the tables," he started, still holding a lock of her hair between his thumb and forefinger, lightly stroking it, "it was like one of those scenes you see in a movie, where everything else in the world just disappears. The sun was shining in through the window and hit your hair and time just stopped. And then you laughed. I thought it was the best laugh I'd ever heard"

Here are some of they're text messages I loved. I was reading it and blushed like a teenager.

Colt: I can still feel you in my arms and taste you on my lips. Sleep isn't going to come easily for tonight. Every time I close my eyes I see you on the boat, the wind in your hair. My dreams, when I finally do go to sleep, will definitely be sweet.

Sarah: 'blushing'...I swear you're too good to be true. I keep thinking any minute now I'm going to wake up and realize that the last twenty-four hours were just a really, really good dream. I've never felt so relaxed around a guy before. I can't believe it's only been twenty-four hours. It really feels like I've known you much longer.

Colt: Makes you believe in a whole concept of past lives, doesn't it? I looked into your eyes across the restaurant yesterday and felt like I've known you for years. Today when I held you on the boat, it felt like I was finally home, and I certainly didn't want to let you go tonight when you left. I've never believed in love at first sight...but you have me challenging many of the things I thought before.

"Oh. Wow, Sarah cried out.

Sarah: I wish you were here with with me now. I wish I could fall asleep in your arms. Is that crazy? We just met. But I can't help how I feel. When I was sitting in front of you with your chest against my back and your arms around me, I've never felt so safe.

Get this book and you will fall in love with it like I did.

As you may be aware, I have a bit of a soft spot for Ann Vaughn. When she very kindly provided me with ARC's for her first two books, I was more than happy to review them. The fact that I thoroughly enjoyed them was an additional bonus. So when this book came out, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Like her previous books, I was unable to put it down. This was a one sitting read for me.

The book doesn't have excessive amount of drama, it doesn't have a 'will they won't they' thing going on. What it does have is a fantastic feel good factor to it from start to finish! Riley had spotted Jenna just prior to the purse snatching, and in that moment, he knew he wanted to get to know her better, and so heralds the start of a beautiful love story. Jenna has refrained from dating since her divorce five years previously, but when the handsome stranger who got her purse back for her, walked into the store managers office, she was hooked. Her only concerns about starting a relationship, was the effect it would have on her 10 year old son Cam, and whether or not Riley would be able to accept she had a child.

Life wasn't to be all plain sailing though. Once her ex-husband found out she had someone new in her life, he decided to try and ruin it for her. In doing so, he brought his problems to her door, which only gave Riley the opportunity to pull on his resources and provide Jenna and Cam with all the security and protection he possibly could.

I love how Ann Vaughn can write a happy story, that has the ability to keep you turning the page to see what happens next. This book is one I will be keeping on my e-reader, just for the feel good factor alone. It is an easygoing read, that will have the ability to pull you out of a funk and put that smile back on your face and that "Ahh" back in your vocabulary!

'I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review'

Jenna was out trying to get a Christmas gift for her son Cam when someone steals her purse. She finds out that they stole other purses as well. As she is waiting in the security office at the mall her and the other ladies are informed that a man got their purses back. When Riley asks her out she is unsure but goes for it. Their relationship gets really serious really fast. Jenna's ex husband Wade is not happy to find out about the new man in hers and their son's life. Wade is not there for his son so Cam takes to Riley really fast.

Riley was struck by Jenna's looks before he seen her purse get snatched. Once they started seeing each other he falls for her fast. He is not phased by the fact that she has a son. He falls for him too. He thinks Cam is a great kid.

Wade has more issues then anyone knew. And his problems potentially put his son in danger. Will Jenna and Cam ever be able to get over Wade's past behaviors? Will Riley and Jenna's whirlwind relationship last?

LOVED it! This was such a wonderful book. Not really a Christmas story. It is a romance that takes place during the Christmas season. I love Jenna and Riley's story. I like that characters from the previous book are brought into this book also. This is the second book that I have read by this author and she is working her way up to being a favorite of mine. She writes such heartwarming , emotion filled books that once I start reading one I can't seem to put it down. I definitely recommend reading. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. In order to know who all characters from the previous book are I would suggest reading that one first.

Well, she’s done it again – this story, it might have been a bit shorter than the others… but still delivered a fantastic, suspenseful, yet heart warming story. After Riley retrieve’s Jenna’s purse, after it’s snatched on Black Friday… he invites her to breakfast. The two hit it off instantly. Jenna is still a bit shocked at him – and the whole situation. He’s a bit of a prince charming, and she’s not used to being the damsel in distress.

She’s too busy raising her son Cameron and running her own cleaning services to worry about much else. Her ex-husband, a famous motocross star isn’t really in the picture anymore, leaving her to be the sole parent for Cameron. The greatest thing about Riley, is that he’s just as interested in Cameron as he is Jenna…. he genuinely cares for him, even at the very beginning, and respects the live these two have carved out for each other. As Riley and Jenna get closer, you can see the positive affect it is having on Cameron, but you can also see how patient and caring Riley is to leave Jenna to discipline her son…. not wanting to step on her toes and invade the situation. He merely stands back, observes and cautiously gives warm words of encouragement -

As in all of Ann Vaughn’s books I’ve read she has a really great way of engaging readers in both the main characters …. and the view of the bad guys. We get to see what they’re plotting here and there which really intensifies the anticipation.

I can’t wait to read her next, the final in her Home Series…… Finally Home

A Home For Christmas is the third installment in Ann Vaughn's Home Series. After having the read the first two books in the series I was anxiously waiting to read this book. I have come to love Ms. Vaughn's writing style, her storylines and her characterizations. In this installment we meet Jenna Blackwell, single mom to her devoted son Cam and Riley Stanton, former Navy Seal now a civilian working for Orion Security and member of a local SWAT team. Jenna and Riley meet when Jenna's and two other ladies' purses are stolen while at the mall and Riley manages to catch the culprit and return the goods to the ladies. The instant attraction between Jenna and Riley is obvious and Riley's pursuit begins. Cam also meets Riley and he is immediately drawn to Riley having no father figure since his parent's divorce. Wade Blackwell, famous motocross rider, appears later in the story and even though he has shown no interest in Jenna and Cam over the years since the divorce all of a sudden thinks they still belong to him. Wade is battling addictions and has gotten involved with some pretty smarmy characters that ultimately affect the family that Riley, Jenna, and Cam have created. Again in this book we meet some of the same secondary characters we have come to know in her prior books. No spoilers here but if you're looking for a heartfelt loving holiday read with some mystery and angst added, this is a must read. Ms. Vaughn writes about these tough gentle men with hardcore backgrounds that will have you swooning all over them. They are fierce protectors of those they love and it oozes right off the pages. Ann Vaugh - I'm a dedicated fan.

This is another amazing read from auth Ann Vaughn. This is her third book in her Home series. This book can be read as a stand alone. Ann's first two books of the series Long Way Home and Finding Home are some of my must reads. As I have said before I get attached to characters and can never get enough of their stories. Characters from her first two books make appearances in A Home for Christmas so it was an all around win for me.

Riley, *sigh*, he is compassionate, former Navy Seal and sexy as all get out. There is nothing I can find wrong with this yummy alpha male. Jenna is the fortunate woman to be saved in many ways by Riley. She is a single mom of ten year old Cam. Usually I don't like reading a story that has kids in it, I can't explain it. It just dulls the fantasy for me a little bit. A Home for Christmas has changed that for me. I instantly sell in love with Cam. Jenna's relationship with her son intensified my attachment to her character. And the way Riley interacted with Cam just sealed the deal for me. He is now my new favorite alpha from the Home series by Ann Vaughn.

This is the type of book you read in one sitting. To be fair all of Ann's books have been that way for me. In A Home for Christmas there is love, sex, compassion, friendship, drama, everything you could hope for in a book. Pick it up you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to more of Ann Vaughn's work in the future. A very deserving 5 stars!!

Don’t let the Title and Cover fool you, this takes place at Christmas time, but this is all LOVE, Romance and finding the one person who completes you.
You will find a sense of real life circumstances with a twist of adventure and drama.
This is a Feel good book with every woman’s dream, and the struggles of an independent woman allowing a man to step in and take care of her, on her terms.
Once again, this Authors writing style is excellent, I’m swept away with the characters, and enjoying the ride.

This entire series is a must read………

This is a reread of this book for me. I so love this series and Author. Tis' the Season! (Dec., 2014)

Am really loving these books by Ann Vaughn.. This is the 3rd in her series and I'm really looking forward to the 4th one that comes out later this year.

This is a romance with a bit of heat and a touch of action and it was a joy to read.

Ann Vaughn has done an amazing job again in her Home series. Having read her third book, A Home For Christmas, first I was unaware of the history some of the characters in the book had with one another. Each book can be read alone, but when you start in order a wonderfully amazing world appears and all of the puzzle pieces seem to fall into place.

Riley meets Jenna on Black Friday in a chance encounter neither of them would have ever expected. (Having worked at a bank branch located in the local Wal-Mart I could totally relate to the encounter as if I were there myself.) Neither one could explain the comfort they felt with each other and watching their story unfold only made me smile. It was completely refreshing to see two strong characters that didn't have any really major issues they tried to run away from.

Jenna was a strong female lead and though she had some difficult experiences, she didn't let that define her to the point that she ran away from everything. Riley has a few issues of his own as well, but he knew he wanted Jenna and did what it took to make that happen without too much angst. That was completely refreshing for me. It's one of those books that leaves you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside and with a permanent smile on your face. And as it turns out..... Riley is now my new book boyfriend!!
