Picked this up in an the Bangalore airport waiting for a flight. I had run out of anything to read (a disaster for me at any point, but unthinkable when boarding a flight to Bangkok with connection to Narita!). I had no expectations, but once I started reading, I could not put it down. Amazing insights into the lives of women from all over India - for someone who had read so many business books about India, travelled all over the country, it was a revelation. I laughed, I cried, I made notes, it made me love India even more than I already did - and opened my eyes to the plight of so many of my gender in this wonderful, terrible country. If you can find a copy - don't wait, just sart reading.
