Rate this book
[Siren Menage Erotic Cowboy Menage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, spanking, sex toys, HEA]

Ari Stein is certain that romance is nowhere in the cards for her. Carrying the scars from a traumatic childhood, she's wandered, rootless, until she landed in Lusty. Now her restless spirit has calmed and for the first time since she was teen, she feels safe and at home.

Twins, Cord and Jackson Benedict, have built rather amazing careers in the NFL, earning themselves the moniker, "The Wonder Twins." Then Jackson takes a hit in training camp and it's time to start over. Grandma Kate convinced them to come to Lusty and meet this side of their family. One look at Ari and they know they made the right move--and once they see the way the Lusty branch of their family lives, they know what they want their future to be.

Will they succeed in getting Ari to open up and trust them? Or will a specter from her past, and an annoying little pissant from theirs, stop them from finding their happy ever after?

Fraternal twin brothers Cord & Jackson Benedict have done most everything together so it makes sense that they'd share a wife, if and when they ever find one. Forced to retire from professional football, the brothers move to Lusty, Tx where polyamorous relationships are the norm, not the exception. They can trace their ancestors back to the founding members of the town which may explain why they feel they've finally come home. Their luck must be holding when they meet Ari Stein.

Ari may have felt like she's found her forever home but knows it's just a fantasy. The past will always keep her running. When it catches up with her she'll have to leave once again for parts unknown. A shame though as Grandma Kate is the closest she's ever come to having someone love her unconditionally as a mother/grandmother should. No, best to keep her distance as it's only a matter of time before she has to run again.

This is a series that never disappoints. Feel good erotic romance installments that add a touch of suspense and intrigue into the picture while showcasing a core romance. Each installment is like going home to check up on how my favorite residents are fairing and to get introduced to the newest citizens to populate the town.

As for the core romance. While I totally appreciated the menage adult content scenes and angst issues, I wasn't able to come to the conclusion that this was any different than any of the other installments. But is that bad as each installment does keep my fictional friends from Lusty (and Divine) alive and well so all is good.

I do appreciate that the author also takes real and current ethical/legal situations that are floating around in the news and slants a spin to make it pertinent to the featured main characters. I'm reluctant to say very much what deep seated secret Ari is having to deal with so as not to give away spoiler info. I guess you'll have to see if other reviewers shared that as I feel a reader should be able to experience a story (even one that's been published for a while) themselves as the magic unfolds.

My only issues have to do with timelines and statutes of limitations. Not sure if this even is a valid concern or not but it was a thought that I really wondered about. Doesn't matter as this is fictional and in fiction readers appreciate whenever justice is served be it with a swift kick somewhere,a non lethal but painful shot to some part of one's anatomy, or a future of years behind bars.

Enjoyable contemporary erotic romance that brought a smile to my face and thoughts that Grandma Kate must never ever leave. :D

Just finished Love Under Two Quaterbacks by Cara Covingting and may I say......AWSOME! It kept me in my bath longer than I should. I am pruny! I highly suggest this book. Definitely ♥♥♥♥♥. I laughed, cried, was inspired, and fell in live with Ari, Cord and Jackson. There is also the added bonus of the promise the merging of two great authors again when Cara (aka Morgan Ashbury) cross series with Heather Rainier (The Dica herself) again soon! Lusty is heading to Divine! Can't wait for Veronica's tale! Squeeeeee!

What I really liked about this book is that it has some of the family that has moved away, lived away for generations, but now one of those generations has come back to explore Lusty. What I found interesting was that the man who moved away did so because he looked down on Lusty and the amoral people living in it, meaning all the menage relationships, including his parents. This man laid judgement down on everyone, something that I find to be odd when you have been raised in that environment. It also went against everything that Lusty was founded for.

I liked how the two new Benedicts fit in with the town. You knew that the rest of the residents would fold them in like all the other strangers that come to town, but it was like they had been there all the time with the teasing.

I liked how the guys noticed Ari and went about going after her. I really thought that Ari would take more time before she fell for them.

I was a little stunned by Ari's past, by what she had to go through, but was glad that along the way she managed to find some guardian angel's to help her. I loved that when it came time to tell her past the guys stepped up and gave Ari the support no question. When it looked like the past was coming back to grab Ari, I loved that Jackson and Cord were there to help plan with Ari what to do and that they involved the town and of course the town stepped up.

This book had one of the best scenes, maybe even the best scene of the series in it. Jackson, Cord, and Ari were photographed in a compromising position, bad to say the least. But when it was published even worse. I did love how Lusty residents were outraged, it could have happened to any of them as they all see to love a little outdoor loving. But the best was Grandma Kate and her comment of "Good form" to Ari. Coming from a 90 year old woman, well, then I guess I wouldn't worry about the photo anymore.

I loved learning about the provision that Sarah made for those family members and any generations that came along after, that left Lusty. It just proves that Lusty really does accept anyway that you want to live your life!

Cara Covington has done it again! I just finished reading Love Under Two Quarterbacks and find myself a bit overwhelmed. Ms. Covington gave us a story full of emotion and caring. I was sad to see it end but happy to see their beginning. I thought this story so well written I don’t even know where to begin. Should I begin with Ari? One tough cookie, with a big ole chip on her shoulder, who was surprised to find the people of Lusty had managed to chip away at while she wasn’t looking. A town where everyone knew her name and cared about and for her. A town that gave her the courage to try when the opportunity presented itself in the form of Jackson and Cord. Or should I begin with Jackson and Cord? Brothers that have done most everything together even reach the heights of a job well done only to have it snatched before at least one of them was ready. Men who didn’t allow their fame to define them. Who came to Lusty looking for something and gained not only a deeper sense of family but of community as well.
I don’t think I realize just how much of a character the town of Lusty has become. It is just as important as the characters that find love within its borders. Within its confines Ms. Covington’s characters find support and acceptance which allows them to blossom and this story was no different. It allows the reader to see an underbelly of human depravity and know it will be alright. I thoroughly enjoy my visits to Lusty, Texas and look forward to where Ms. Covington will lead us next.

Ari Stein has been on the run since she was fourteen, after a betrayal left with her no one to turn to. Now living in Lusty, Texas Ari is felling like she has finally found a place she can call home.

Twins, an NFL stars Cord and Jackson Benedict have retired from the NFL. Although Cord is resolved with it and and anxious to start a new life, Jackson is worried about his future. Deciding to take their Grandma Kate up on her offer to try out Lusty, they arrive and are instantly smitten when they meet Ari. They realize she is not quick to trust, but they have every intention of earning it. It should be smooth sailings for the three as they begin their lives together, but Ari's past is coming back to haunt her.

There were aspects I liked about the story, but I had a hard time getting past some of the lingo on this one. For that reason the story did not flow for me and some of the terminology used by Ari and then by the twins made the difference in age all the more apparant and I couldn't see the chemistry.

Ari Stein doesn't really believe in all that happily ever after and romantic crap, but she doesn't judge others in her new adopted town either she just knows it's not for her, that is until she meets two quarterbacks...Jackson and Cord Benedict otherwise known as the wonder twins have had to hang up their football careers because Jackson has been hurt, so when they decide to move to Lusty to try to get to know this side of the family they figure it's only for a short visit until they see Ari and she sneers at them both... I felt a true kinship with Ari, I know what it is she went through and I love reading stories where we conquer those demons....onto the next

Love this town !!! Ari is new to Lusty. She escaped her abusive stepdad, and has started fresh. Cord and Jackson are also new to Lusty. They are Montana Benedicts, and their football days are over. This story is interesting, suspenseful, and romantic. Deeply thoughtful characters, true love, sexy, erotic ménage, and wonderful small town camaraderie, abound. We always learn new things, and this tale is terrific. I look forward to more from Cara Covington.
This story crosses over to the Divine Creek Ranch Series(Veronica's story) by Heather Rainier. I love those tales too. ENJOY !!!

Amazingly HOT!! This book was fantastic just like EVERY single Lusty book up to date. I loved Jackson and Cord and Ari. Plus I loved and always will love the town of Lusty and all the residents that live there. This book was so touching filled with tough, almost scary moments for Ari, touching moments for Jackson and Cord and had the most DELICIOUS love-making scenes you can imagine. An absolute MUST read! I can't help to be amazed with each new story Mrs. Covington, aka Mrs. Ashbury comes out with. She is talented in the world of erotic, menage romance.

I have decided that it is actually the underlying personal stories of the characters that I enjoy so much about the Lusty series. The sex itself is fun but from book to book very repetitive and there is not much scope for variation given the eldest goes first rule and the ultimate goal of two in one so to speak. Jackson and Cord's story is no different and I enjoyed learning about Ari. I will still be reading more and after 19 books I think that says something.

This story happens just before 'Awakening Veronica [Divine Creek Ranch 17]', so this will seem familiar if you are also reading that series. I would read this first, then read the Veronica story.
