I see all these 4 & 5 star ratings, and I just wonder, "how"?
Just...No.
The smut scenes were meh.
It felt like a little of everything was thrown in this book. There was a love triangle, a bit of dominance thrown in, sprinkled with a dash of m/m.
Daisy was so wishy-washy I wanted to hit her.
I didn't connect with any of the characters. They had no depth to any of them. The nicknames... ugh... Sex and Sin? Cunter? Really?! So stupid.
No, I will not be reading the rest of this series.

Ok ok ok. This book is the epitome of HOT!!! This is the firs book Ive read from this author but it definitely won't be my last. This book has so many twists and turns that you don't even see coming. We have Daisy who I loved throughout the whole book. We have Landon who is a little shady in the beginning. I didn't really know what he was doing or what he was up too.... But when you find out it's an OMG MOMENT!! And then there's Grayson!!!!! Ahh Grayson is sooooooooooo freaking sexy it's hard to write this and not get all hot and bothered ( in a good way). Anyways Grayson is apart of the band Shaft. We learn early on that Grayson is attracted to Daisy. Anyways I'm not going to spoil anything all I will say is this book is one I couldn't put down. Between the amazing band shaft and the sexy steamy scenes I couldn't stop reading. We also meet other characters who make this book that much more enjoyable. I loved this book and can't wait to find out what happens with the rest of the characters!! If you like sexy, rock band, tour bus,steamy! hot sex, this book is for you!! Absolutely love love love shaft!!! Recommend it 1000%

I freaking LOVED this book!!!! Talk about a book hangover, I am still telling all my friends they have to read it!!!!
This story is about a girl named Daisy (or Wildflower as Grayson calls her) She has her whole life planned out, that is, until she meets Grayson Cole aka Sex and Sin, the lead guitarist for the band Shaft. The problem is.....she is engaged to Grayson's brother Landon. Landon and Daisy are about to go on tour with the band for the next 6 months. You can tell there is something up with Landon from the start, I just couldn't put my finger on it. He kept himself distant from Daisy and I didn't understand it and then once you find out...OMFG!!!! I did not see that coming at all!!
I loved the secondary characters in this book!!! First you have Aiden, he is the drummer of Shaft. OMG, I can't wait for his story!!! I love that Dom side he has. Hunter aka Cunter (lmao) is the vocal and bass player. Then there is Henry, he is the driver/body guard to the group. Then you have the ladies Cam and Chase. I loved these two ladies and I loved the relationship they all had together.
There is several scenes in this book that had me laughing so hard my kids thought I was losing it!!! I love the banter between all of them. I did not want this book to end at all. If you love a good rocker, laugh your butt off story, you have GOT to read this book asap!!!

I absolutely love, love, loved this book. From the beginning it had me glued to it. I loved everything about it. The characters were all great, the dialogue between the Shaft boys was hilarious at times. It was hot, sexy. I liked Daisy, I loved Gray but all the Shaft boys were great and I can't wait for the author to publish the next book in this series. If you want a book that has great interaction between the characters, plenty of romance, humour and some of those OMG moments, I thoroughly recommend this book.

Awesome book I hardly give out 5* but this one was so worth it. I will definitely be waiting very unpatiently for Aiden & Cam's book. If you haven't read it & are on the fence then wait no more this is going to be a great series. Hunter had me cracking up at times that my husband kept asking what I was laughing at. Great book!!!!!

Escaping Me is the first book of The Shaft on Tour series and to put it simply: I AM IN LOVE AND IT IS AN BEYOND BELIEF GOOD ROCKSTAR BOOK! Hands down, one of my favorite rock star romances out there. Okay so fan girl moment over.
We meet sweet Daisy and her steady dependable boyfriend Landon; it is the summer before they start their new jobs after they finish college. Daisy and Landon are going to the spend the summer going on tour with Landon’s brother Grayson and his band. What follows, is a tour of betrayal, chaos, love, lust, unseen twists and groupies. We go through a lot of trails with the boys of Shaft and Daisy, we see if Landon is really the safe dependable boyfriend or not. Also, I will say I am not fan of a main girl playing brothers against each other and Daisy does not do this.
Who doesn’t like rock stars? This girl does and I must say the boys in Shaft are hot, Hunter is my favorite! Cat Mason wrote a story that made me laugh, feel betrayed and caught me off guard, I loved this book and I CAN WAIT TILL THE SECOND BOOK. Here are a few quotes to show of Cat’s hilariously awesome writing style.

Story: 5/5 - Let me jus put it out there. I really do NOT enjoy love triangles. They suck. I just feel there is always a loser at the end and it makes me sad. However, this love triangle was nothing like that. It was more of a love square.. Pentagon even at one stage. And the loser really was a loser so I didn't not feel bad for him in the slightest. Anywho, the story was awesome and original. Daisy and her fiancé go on tour with fiancé's half brothers band SHAFT. While they are on tour shit goes down and she falls for Lead Singer Grayson. All wrapped up that's pretty much it. But a lot of stuff happens in between which leaves you shocked and hooked and crazily turning pages to find out more!! Amazing.
Sex: 5/5 - Well let me tell you. Sex does not seem like the appropriate word to use here. Fucking? Yes. Throw me up against the wall you hot as fuck rock god and screw me six ways to Sunday? You fuckin bet.
Heroine: 4/5 - I really liked her. She was sassy, sexy and all things I love in a h. But, this is a doozy for me. I don't condone cheating. At all. Yes she had (and I use this term loosely) 'broken up' with her fiancé. It's really hard to explain without ruining the story. I loved Daisy, she jus lost a star from jumping on one guys dick to the other without a second thought.
Hero: 5/5 - Who can resist a tatted up rock god with piercings?? Not. Fuckin. Me.

I've gotta review this but HOW? The main characters are Landon and Daisy but then it's Gray and Daisy. Ok but they aren't the BEST you know who is Cat Mason cause she gave ME Hunter aka Cunter This was steamy, sexy, realistically told and I hope will go on and on.
Renee Advises readers: Tell someone who needs to get laid they gotta read this it's as good as sex. I liked Camaron as my second fave. OMG Apple Fritter

NOW This cracks me up! I look back on my updates on Goodreads and laugh so hard. So not spoiler Landon and Daisy are engaged, and they are ending the summer with a six week tour to help Shaft, the band on tour. Now Landon and Gray are brothers, well it is complicated. Anyways when the meeting between Daisy and Gray happens it sort of screamed at me. I was not pleased. It was predictable. It was one of those male big band ego guys coming up to get some from a cutie. Burst the bubble now it is Daisy, your future sister inlaw you turd!
Everything that happens after the predictable moment is totally UN-predictable. There are so many curve balls thrown into this very steamy novel. We have all read the famous rock God type novels, you know the Olivia ones we all drool over? Well this is a rival for sure.
Plot wise- there are a few reveals that make you spit
characters- some you expect, most you never knew you would love
bad characters- the ones that you love because the author creates them in a way that you love to hate them
Lots to love here. I totally recommend it!

WOW - what a GREAT Rockstar book. Grayson and Daisy are just... explosive, and its not just all the hot rockers, groupies and wild sex that make this book great. The actual story is fantastic.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I was not disappointed, it was highly entertaining, fabulously sexy and absolutely hilarious!
Daisy Shayne has a life plan which she meticulously adheres to from her list she has made. Each item so far has been ticked off with the next one being to marry her fiancé Landon but this will be after a last hurrah over the summer. Landon has been asked by his step brother, Grayson, to assist the management of Shaft, his band, with their tour. Landon had one request in that Daisy accompanies him, which she is giddy to do.
Landon isn’t close to his step brother so it is with some trepidation he accepts and Daisy kind of understands his brash behaviour just before they go to meet the band at a bar they are performing at. It is at this bar that Daisy finds herself alone at the table when a hot and extremely sexy guy tries to chat her up when he sits down next to her and runs his hand up her leg. Both of them then get the shock when Landon comes back and Daisy finds out the sexy ass is none other than Landon’s brother Grayson! However both Daisy and Gray know something just happened but each try to bury that thought. It doesn’t stop Gray giving her the sexy smoulder as he struts his stuff on stage though.
What’s a girl to do when she finds herself sharing a tour bus with six sexy men? This isn’t helped by Landon’s strange behaviour increasing, Tad the manager’s hostility and Gray’s intensity for her. The book then takes us through the changing relationships Daisy has with Landon pushing her away and Gray pulling her in. What a delish quandary to be in!
At first this book seemed a little hyper in the first 15% or so and had me wanting to slow it down a touch. I could tell by the style that this author is a fan of Kendall Grey (me too!) as it very much reminded me of the Killer Buzz Floats books (they even get a mention) I knew then that I was in for a whole lot of smut and hilarity, which I got.
I loved the secondary characters and Hunter (sometimes known to be spelt with a C ha ha) had me in stitches with his sexual innuendos and totally off the charts behaviour. He was so up for any challenge thrown at him (usually by Daisy) and he just became the lovable rogue of the book. Aiden and Camaron were so intense to read and I kept thinking they need their own story which I think they will be. As for Henry, the band’s ‘go to’ man – whoo hoo he was just smoking hot!
The best part was obviously the relationship development of Daisy with Gray. He started at first coming across as a total prick but then he let the reader in and he became an absolute sweetheart. But oh so darn sexy with his abs and tats. I loved how he encouraged Daisy to live for today, forget about her life’s plan and just have fun.
It was a nice kick to add the reason for Landon’s change in behaviour but the way Daisy kept having it thrown in her face each time was shocking. Tad was an evil mo-fo. However I liked how all sexual preferences were included from straight up m/f to m/m and even touching on m/f/m. As a cross genre reader I liked that inclusion.
This book has everything to entice the reader in, it certainly kept me in throes of hilarity, shocked the pants off me but mainly gave a good dose of erotic romance. Let’s not forget about the rock stars, the abs and the tattoos. Rockers and muscles and tats, oh my! It’s a keeper. Looking forward to the next book.

Aiden and Camaron were so intense to read and I kept thinking they need their own story which I think they will be. As for Henry, the band’s ‘go to’ man – whoo hoo he was just smoking hot!
The best part was obviously the relationship development of Daisy with Gray. He started at first coming across as a total prick but then he let the reader in and he became an absolute sweetheart. But oh so darn sexy with his abs and tats. I loved how he encouraged Daisy to live for today, forget about her life’s plan and just have fun.
It was a nice kick to add the reason for Landon’s change in behaviour but the way Daisy kept having it thrown in her face each time was shocking. Tad was an evil mo-fo. However I liked how all sexual preferences were included from straight up m/f to m/m and even touching on m/f/m. As a cross genre reader I liked that inclusion.
This book has everything to entice the reader in, it certainly kept me in throes of hilarity, shocked the pants off me but mainly gave a good dose of erotic romance. Let’s not forget about the rock stars, the abs and the tattoos. Rockers and muscles and tats, oh my! It’s a keeper. Looking forward to the next book.

I went into this book knowing from the synopsis that it was going to be a fast paced book. Ok so I’m not really crazy about insta love situations but I wanted to give this one a chance. The synopsis had me interested and after reading this on goodreads *** This book is not a normal romance. Things happen fast and with no*** regret. Rockers and all. There are M/F scenes of course but there is M/F/M, hints of M/F/F, possibly a little M/M and plenty of vibrator discussion. I was thinking hell ya, I might just really like this one. I mean who doesn’t love a rocker book? And who doesn’t love some hot sex scenes because that kind of disclaimer screams it’s going to be hot. Tattooed pierced men yep bring it. I love that stuff. So, was it all I wanted and more? That is the question.
These men in the Shaft band had it going on in spades. They were sexy, they were funny, they are what you’d expect rockers to be like. Grayson is out of this world sexy. I mean I wanted to stick my tongue down his throat a time or two also. The banter was hilarious between all these characters. Some of the stuff that would come out of their mouths literally had me laughing out loud. From that stand point this book had me. I loved their dirty mouths, I loved their silliness, I loved the chemistry between them all.
Like I said I am not crazy about insta love but this one took it further. And yes even though I was warned that it was going to be a fast paced book I was just not feeling how quickly things developed. Don’t get me wrong the connection between Grayson and Daisy was smoking hot. Sparks were certainly flying but it was just way too fast for me. I found myself saying in my head it’s only been a week, it’s only been 6 weeks. It felt like other relationships that were going on with some of the secondary characters were more believable to the point where they seemed to be developed slower or at least over a longer period of time.
I had a love hate relationship with Daisy going on throughout this book. There were times where I felt so bad for her. I really wanted to reach out and give her a hug because some of things that happen to her in this story are just crazy. She is put through the ringer, but then there were times I wanted to just slap some sense into her. I found her wishy washy at times and that seriously drove me crazy. A lot happens to her but it’s like everything gets swept under the rug. There is one point where she gets physically hurt and two seconds later she’s talking like nothing happened. I was sitting here saying WTF, No really is this for real? I mean come on. No way would someone go through what she did and then act like it’s just a normal day.
I wanted to love this story I really did and I have to say there are a lot of things that I really did love but then some of those things that I talked about were just too much for me. It really had so much potential to wow me even with the insta love. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t really see much of anything where m/m/f or m/f/f is concerned. There is a little glimpse of each but nothing to run home about. I do however want to see where the rest of these guys in the band go with their relationships, so I do want to read the next book. I’m just hoping it wow’s me where this one fell a bit short.

4.5 Bare Naked Stars
OMG this in one smoking HOT book!! You will needs lots of cold showers after you finish. The sex is off the charts. I loved Escaping Me. I couldn’t put it in down. It was filled with so many twists and turns to keep you reading and several OMG I wasn’t expecting that to happen moments along with some of the best laugh out load moments.
I absolutely loved all the characters. The secondary characters made the book. I can’t wait to read the other books she has planned. Such an awesome rock band series.
Grayson – you can only describe him as sex on a stick! He plays the guitar, covered in tats, and has piercings. What more could a girl want?
Daisy- the sweet girl that has a plan for a perfect future. All she can see is getting married to Landon and having kids together in their perfect world.
Landon- Grayson’s brother. They have always had a troubled relationship. He is going on tour with Grayson’s band Shaft. They are letting him bring Daisy as well.
Daisy has her whole life planned out in front of her. 6 months on the tour bus with her fiancé. Then getting married to the perfect man. Everything changes when she meets Grayson. They have an instant steaming connection. Landon starts pulling away from her on the tour bus and she can’t figure out why. Grayson is there for her when Landon is pushing her away. I loved Grayson called her Wildflower.
“Daises are wildflowers. They can thrive even in the worst circumstances because they are stronger than the others. Probably even come out more beautiful for it. Roses are shady bitches. They look all pretty sure but have those thorns to stick ya when you aren’t looking”

I really enjoyed reading the bonus scene from Grayson’s POV when they first met. It was amazing to get in his head and see what he was thinking.

First let me just say that this is the first book that I read from this author.
Wow Holy Smoke I don't even know how to start, I just finish reading this book and I have to say that once I started reading it I couldn't put the book down. Their is so much going on in this book, I really enjoy reading it I have to say that this book made me mad sometime, but I also have to say that I Laugh reading this and when I say Laugh is not just a little laugh no I when all out Laughing that I had my brother asking me why the HELL am I Having a Laughing Attack.
When I first started to read the book I did not know what I got my self reading, but what can I say I love me anything that has to do with a Rock Start specially if they all Sexy as Hell. I am gone tried to keep this short cause I don't want to give anything away, I love the characters and the way the book turned out to be.
The story begging with Daisy and London walking into the club, that's where London is gone meet up with his brother manager, once he have Daisy seating on a booth he walk to the back leaving Daisy alone, with it five minute of Daisy been alone Grayson end up showing up on her booth, when Daisy saw Grayson she could explain the thoughts that was running through her head, Grayson seat next to Daisy flirting with her until he hear his brother calling for him, that's when London said I see you met my fiancée, that's when Grayson realized that Daisy was going on tour with them, and what was that for what they did not expect was how everything was gone be turned up side down and change their life's.
What cant I say I love it how Daisy and Grayson have a chemistry right away, and how they keep feeling that pull that is between them and how they tried to stay away from each other, I hated how London was acting with Daisy once they got on the bus, London piss me off cause of the way that he was treating her, but once you keep on reading and you find out the reason why he was acting like an ass to Daisy you will be surprise just like I was, I love it how the ban came over protective with Daisy and Camaron, now I cant wait to read more of this series.

LOVED IT!! Fabulous Read!
Daisy is a girl on a mission, to have the things on her list crossed off. A life list if you will. School, job, engagement and so far all is going well and right on schedule. What she forgot to add to that list was FUN! Until she sets off with Fiancé Landon and his brothers band Shaft, Daisy thought that everything was how it should be. What she doesn't know is everything in her life is about to change...and in my opinion for the better!
Lets talk about Shaft for a sec...
HOT tattooed Rockers. I think that about covers it. Gray, Aiden and Hunter (or Cunter as his bandmates affectionately call him...you'll find out why!) are setting off on a tour. I wanna GO! With Tad, Landon, Daisy and the big guy Henry in tow there is bound to be drama. AND whoa the drama!
Secrets that are kept will come out. Malicious nastiness will rear its ugly head and groupies will be banging on the tour bus door but alas....Love is found, sex is had and dreams come true. Talk about Roller Coaster madness! The time line is a little quick but it keeps the book going and theres never a lull in the story. Supporting characters to me are so important and Escaping Me has them.

Oh and Ummmm...The sex is Hot! How can sex with a Tattooed, pierced rocker not be hot, Right girls??

Escaping Me sets this series off with a bang with a highly eventful and fast moving story line, quirky characters, highly erotic sensual scenes, and shocking and eye popping plot twists and surprises. Although the angst was ready made and built into the story from page one – so sneaky – I enjoyed the humor, banter, teasing, and flippant manner in which the band members treated each other. This small group of sexy, talented, inked, and intimately pierced rockers is on the cusp of stardom while touring as an opening act, and living in tight quarters as they tour the country on a bus. They cannot speak without expletives, whether they are joking, happy, or angry, and there are plenty of those emotions to work through. The sensual scenes are molten lava hot; and the practical jokes, challenges, and bets are highly entertaining. Ms. Mason certainly knows how to maintain the drama and intrigue while the storyline goes in several directions before reconnecting again. I am eager to make my way through the entire series – luckily, they are all waiting for me on my beloved kindle.

I LOVED this book! I was laughing almost constantly and when I wasn’t I was either trying to figure out what was going on with Landon or getting all hot and bothered with one of the many sexy scenes. I seriously sat glued to my tablet from beginning to end.

I mean he plays the freakin’ guitar, is covered in tattoos, and has some piercings….what’s not to love? I instantly found myself rooting for him instead of Landon. Daisy really comes out of her structured little shell. She gets to be downright feisty and it was awesome to see unfold. Even Aiden, Hunter (which had me rolling my eyes one minute, and rolling with laughter the next), Camaron, Chase, and Henry were awesome as well. They were all like one big family and I so look forward to more books about this crew.

Talk about needing a B.O.B. on more than one occasion for this book! The sex scenes and sexual tension in this book was off the charts!!
Daisy is in love with her fiancé, Landon and can't wait to marry him. All they have to do is get through a tour with his brother Grayson and his band. Not hard, right? NOT!! Daisy meets Grayson and there instant sexual chemistry between the two. Daisy tries to fight it but Grayson won't let up and with Landon putting distance between them, Daisy isn't sure how long she can keep up the fight. She also has to deal with the rest of the band and their antics with groupies. It's pretty hilarious at times what these guys do!

The more Landon pulls away, the more Grayson becomes someone that Daisy needs. She loves Landon but could she also love Grayson now too? I'm the first to say I like a good rock star book but what the heck was this! It was rock star, it was mystery, it was an absolute riot of a read and a really great book journey.
I'd expected it to be interesting when it was one girl on a bus with six guys but nothing prepared me for the roller coaster that this book turns into. I laughed out loud at some of the bets between Hunter and Daisy, and their eventual outcomes, I swore at some of the characters, one for being spineless, another for being a creep and yet another for being so stupid. I cried along with Daisy on more than one occasion, and I fanned along with the rest of the girls when the guys were on stage.
These characters truly come to life on the page and work their way under your skin! They take you on an emotional, wring you out journey, and you're honestly not sure how it's going to end, because just as you think you've figured it out... Wham... You're thrown off course again.

Talk about EPIC! There was nothing that I didn't enjoy reading, in this book! Cat Mason is crazy awesome, and has the great ability to captivate and involve her readers in her world! Not to mention, that she is highly skilled with a pen, and has you entrapped in both her storyline and characters.
Her lively sense of sarcastic humour is impeccable! It draws you in, makes you laugh uncontrollably, and helps ease your pain when you feel the pain of what her characters. I was laughing so hard, at parts, that I had tears streaming from my eyes - and constant giggle fits afterwards, when I think back on what I've read!
The characters are unbelievable! I loved them all! They're all relatable, in a rock star way!
If you love a great story, an incredibly unpredictable plot and amazing characters, than this book is definitely for you!

Seriously Wow !!! Escaping Me is the first book in the Shaft on Tour series and I loved every minute of it. It was sexy, funny, crazy, witty and holy smokes it was hot as hell.. Grayson and Daisy story will leave you a little breathless.. I am loving these guys from the Shaft.. Hunter though he steals the show with his crazy obsession with bacon and his ability to get himself in some pretty crazy situations. This is one rock star romance you do not want to let pass you by. Cat Mason has done an exceptional job bringing these characters to life and you will not be able to put it down..

Escaping Me by Cat Mason

I had to read this book in one sitting, I had to see what was happening next. The book was intriguing and genuinely kept me entertained. The characters came to life with plenty of details so you could *see* them in your head easily. The world that Cat Mason wrote about was awesome and I wanted to crawl in the book and partake. I can't wait for more about Shaft.
Daisy came on tour to help out. I loved the way Cat mason portrayed Daisy's connection with Grayson. The intense and immediate feelings that developed along the way were described so well that you could feel them as you read them.

Greyson Cole! 1 word.. HOT! Daisy Shayne.. Sweet girl that decides to take what belongs to her. An odd love triangle between Daisy and the two Cole brothers. Grayson is her knight in shining armor after her fiance and Greysons own brother kicks her to the curb in a not so nice manner. Great supporting characters and I absolutely LOVE Hunter aka Cunter! He made me laugh so hard! Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Well I absolutely freaking loved this book. OK I did not like Landon from the start of this book. Them I found out his secret and I was like holy crap that did not just happen. Man it did not get better either. Grayson on the other hand was someone I fell totally in love with and he deserves everything good that will come into his life. I loved Daisey too and that girl when through a lot of stuff and didn't give up one time. No only is this book HOT it was so funny and just a great read.

What is not to love about this book - Hot rock god - check, strong willed, feisty good looking girl - check, and of course the good looking brother of the rock god who also happens to be her fiance' - check. Loved Daisy and Grayson. So much that kept this book interesting and made me wanting to continue on with the series.

Definitely not been shafted I loved it!
Drama, lovable characters bacon addict included,hotness,a vilian ( oh he made my skin crawl ),love & laughter.
The main characters are hot lovable Gray & Daisy but you also see into the lives of the other band members in Shaft.
I will definitely be following their tour bus, rock & rolling onto their next dramas & love lives.

This was really good! Very different from what I normally read and it was a nice change. The characters were well developed and you will definitely have some you will love, hate, feel for, and make you laugh your buns off. The one character made me think of Stifler and it was great! Plenty of drama, fun times, and hotness!
