It's hard to say what made this book good but every time I picked it up and read, I had a smile on my face. Great dialogue, nice story telling and just the way Kayla Perrins writes. It was a nice pleasant easy read that took me to a different world when I wanted and needed to switch off.
The plot is simple, even corny at times but I love it! Very nice book, and I'd say the difference in this case is the writer. I can see why Kayla Perrin sells very well. I'm pleased to have discovered her so now I'll be reading her whenever I have the chance.

Great book. Awesome from beginning to end I couldn't put this book down until I reached the end. Another great read from and Excellent Author Kayla Perrin. Sabrina and Mason had chemistry from the beginning whether she wanted to admit it or not. Their chemistry was so off the charts. Kayla really outdid herself with this one and I know I'm gonna love this series and can't wait for the next book in this series. Highly recommend and a job well done Kayla.

A definite awesome read that dealt with fear, misjudgements, disappointments, trust and the ability to overcome ones fears. Fears that could ultimately prevent someone from moving on with their lives. It's also a love story that portrays the extent of what fire Captain Mason Foley would do to capture and claim true love for photographer Sabrina Crawford. A must read indeed!!!!

Fear is a phobia that will not allow you to grow or move forward in life. Mason Foley and Sabrina Crawford are both dealing with past fears. This book was very thought provoking, well written with character you can love and hate. the lesson is forgiveness and acceptance.

Awesome story! Mason Foley, fire-fighter captain and former NBA star, is trying to atone for not being around to rescue his mom and brother from a fiery death over 20 years ago. Now Sabrina, the woman he loves, has been targeted by an arsonist. Will Mason be too late to save her as well?

Wow, this uplifting truly inspirational love was truly amazing....each character, Sabrina Crawford and Mason Foley, was created with such delicate depth and background (I felt I know them, personally)...Sabrina was a strong, passionate, insure women who felt she couldn't be love, (after a fail marriage and being born to as an illegitimate child)...although she owned her own successful photography businesses...she want more....Mason was also a successful firefighter, whom all his life felt guilty for not saving his family in a devastating and fatal fire....Sabrina first struggled to accept Mason's love but he was patient and sweet...highly recommended!!!

Enjoyed Sabrina and Mason love story. Can't wait for the firemen's calendar to come out.
There were times that I wanted to strangle Sabrina; but as "Burning Desire" was coming to an end I understood her more and more. Bad relationships have a tremendous effect on the heart and she had a bad one with her ex-husband; along with her father's wife hatred of her and trying to influence her half sister Julia and half brother Patrick who wanted to get to know her but acting on their mother's request to not have anything to do with her.
Marilyn her father Gerald's wife was one vicious, curel, revengeful woman. Sabrina was innocent in the affair that her mother Evelyn and father Gerald had, Sabrina's father Gerald said that she was created out of love. Now that Gerald is divorcing Marilyn, just wondering if he and Sabrina's will get together. Marilyn would probably burn the jail down with herself in it. Yay, Marilyn is going to do some jail time for attempted murder.
I was truly glad that everything worked out for Sabrina and Mason along with her siblings Julia and Patrick. Now Sabrina has a family that includes 2 nieces and 1 nephew, and course, there is Mason, her mother Evelyn and father Gerald.
Now on to read about Tyler and Nya. I thought that Tyler informed Nya that he has a fiance' or was he just pulling her leg; well I am about to find out with "Flames Of Passion".

This is the 1st book I read by Kayla Perrin. This book's story line was good. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved Mason's character. Mason was too nice of a guy for Sabrina. I didn't like Sabrina's character. Sabrina's attitude got on nerves. I loved Nya's character. I loved the ending. Awesome job Ms. Perrin I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This book deals with fears. Sabrina doesn't want to let a man in her life after being burned by an ex. Mason is driven due to a tragedy that happened when he was young.

This was a pretty good book. The ending was kinda of chessy. I think I will try a least one more of her books before I a definite decision.
