Swinging Saved Our Marriage
Kyra and Ethan, married for over 10 years, realize they have drifted apart as husband and wife. Kyra is on the verge of an affair and Ethan is getting his sexual gratification elsewhere as well. When the couple confronts the loss of the spark in their marriage, they decide maybe the way back to each other is to indulge their fantasies. Kyra and Ethan put up an ad on a swingers' website and agree to stay open to wherever their adventures take them!

Somewhat Typical Swinging Tale
So, not a bad story here. A married couple struggling with the sexual doldrums and on the brink of having affairs make a stumbling start into swinging. They start with a couple they find on the internet and fairly quickly dive in head first.
The husband has some trepidation but the wife really gets into it. They do communicate well and plunge in deeper.
There is not much effort by the author to develop the characters and I found it hard to connect with them. The story is pretty much just about the sex but because of the lack of depth of the characters the sex scenes were not all that erotic.
It’s probably a three star book but because of the good writing of Kirsten and the lack of cuckolding or cheating I bumped it up to four stars.

Liked it, the husband liked it & the wife LOVED it ! A married couple in a slump, the wife nearly having an affair with a colleague, decide to try and reinvigorate their marriage by meeting others for some fun, and blooming heck.. do they!! A great read from one of my faves.

I used to read erotica with swinging partner, mmf,mm, fmf, orgy, name it...I read it!
But why...oh why...I didn't enjoy this one....I dunno,and it's still a mystery to me..
Hm, *thinking* maybe I'm a little more modest lately? Or this couple were just that nauseated? Or...it's because, while they're trying to enjoy their new sex experiences with others, they're still have some pang of jealousy???
C'mon...any choices you have ever made, have the consequences, right? But I didn't think, jealousy was one of it....
I mean, you just have to cope with that, right?...when you said you're ready to "share"...don't get jealous when your spouse getting fucked by another!! LOL!!!....

Jarang2 bikin ripiu eroro dan English dalam bahasa gue sendiri.
Tapi gara2 agak mual bacanya (padahal gw penikmat erotica mm/mmf/fmf/swinging and some kinky stuff, name it)... ----> hadoooh malah balik lagi ke English! Bah!
Tadinya sih semangat membara baca buku ini abis istirahat sejenak dari kepenatan membaca Consequences yg seram itu, maksud hati ingin membuat diriku "terhibur"-lah dikit, tapi malah melotot2 baca buku ini....LOL!
Kenapa oh kenapa gw gak suka buku ini juga diriku tak mengerti...entahlah para pemirsa...padahal adegannya sungguh hot dan bikin mimisan atas bawah (emang pas gw lagi mens sih pas baca ini)...Heeeuuu.... *lap ingus*

Dan saat membaca ada laki bini yg tukeran partner (lagi2 ini kan bisa boooo di dunia per-eroro-an), dan saling pandang2an pula melihat laki/bininya di colok orang lain di depan mata, dan yg bikin gw agak eneg bacanya adalah , titik dua : kenapa pake acara cemburu seeeh laki/bini lo colok sama orang lain kalo pilihan hidup swinger yg udah lo pilih buat jalanin?
Ya kan? Ya kan? Ya kan? Kalo udah pilih, jalanilah dengn "senang hati",konsekuen...seperti kata si Tono...apapun tindakan anda, semua ada konsekuensinya....walaupun itu pediiih!!!! nikmatilah hidup anda yg bervariasi penuh pelangi2 bertaburan...mana sex nya bareback pulak...!!!! Makin bertaburan "PHS" lah nih couple hidupnya kedepan nanti (kasian, masih mikirin masa depan mereka lho gw, baik ya...---> muji2 diri sendiri dengan bangga).

Dan walopun gw "agak menikmati adegan colok mencolok yg bikin mual itu"...agak ya...agaaaak...!!!, yah tetap aja gak senikmat baca Daddy's Little Girl , misalnya...ato...apalah yg Daddy2an ato menage2an ....gw bahkan bisa seneng2 aja baca bukunya si Gwen "Swinging with Daddy"....hmpfft, dasar manusia gak konsisten! --->tampar muka sendiri!
Nah apa dong bedanya buku ini dengan buku swinging2an lainnya....yah tetap aja akhir kata, gw tetap tak mengerti kenapa gw mual sodara2 sekalian!!!!!

Highly erotic and extremely true to life example of a new couple joining The Lifestyle. As a swinger myself, I could see ourselves in some of the scenes described when we were newbie swingers. The story is well written and describes Kyra and Ethan, who after 10 years of marriage, find things getting a little stale. They slowly dip their toes into the swinging lifestyle and describe how they meet and party with other couples. A true to life story if you are thinking about swinging or simply a good erotic story.

Pleasingly HOT!
Not a particularly unique storyline but KM has a intriguing was of making it fresh and excitingly new! She has an extremely talented knack of making the couple exploring new sexual experiences seem real with just enough mystery between the happily playing couple to make it dangerous for their marriage! Playing with fire not sure the " Extinguisher " is going to work is awesomely Hot! The old risk/ reward thing alive and hot. Risky sex, a husband and wife not exactly playing the same game, and a HEA what's not to like!

Swingers having multiple partners and not putting on condoms are simply marons.
I really don't know any swingers who don't put on condoms when having sex with anyone Else besides their own partners.
Jealousy between the married couple - they should had talked about their feelings in depth before moving onto the next level.
The author should explore the swinger world personally before writing such books based on her own fantasies.

Another great read from Kirsten McCurran - it's nicely written with some good suspense as a couple rediscover their passion by exploring the idea of opening their relationship to other couples. A lot of fun, the pages flick on by with good pace and increasingly intense situations, the sex is scorching thanks to good chemistry between likable protagonists. Superb.

The sex scenes were amazing but I agree with some of the other reviewers in that it seemed a little irresponsible. Birth control doesn't always work and people slip through the cracks I'm sure with STD's.

Storyline will read again!!
A throughly excellent read and enjoyable. My guide of an enjoyable story is the characters have to grab my interest. Then you have to fight with yourselves to put the book down, then not wanting the storyline to end is my own view of a good read .

Another really good book by Kirsten McCurran.
I bought this book about 18 mo ago and read it twice. I have just read it again and greatly enjoyed it.
Kirsten has an easy going writing style (could use a little more editing to get rid of annoying typos). I love the relationship she builds between the couple Kyra and Ethan; the exciting exploits they have and their evaluation of what they like and don't like.
I appreciated the easy going style of Amie and Rob. I thought they were a great introduction to the lifestyle and were certainly fun!
I felt Kyra and Ethan's analysis of their night with Alex and Leanne was as insightful as it was intriguing. It would be interesting to know if Kyra and Ethan tried another night with the powerful couple once they gained more experience. Kyra and Ethan were both excited by their adventure and yet were afraid of potential consequences. Will they chance the fun and risks of playing with fire again?
I felt the couple probably fell too easily into the swing party at the end of the book, but the sex was pretty exciting; it certainly expanded Kyra and Ethan's horizons. It was another good opportunity for the couple to explore their sexuality and I enjoyed the way they analyzed and discussed their likes and dislikes. It again demonstrated their commitment to their relationship and each other. I like to see people grow and gain confidence from their experiences, and Kirsten describes that beautifully.
A wonderful story. I look forward to Kirsten's next one; it's sure to be good!
