Interesting perspectives on the meaning this author puts forth to passages and descriptions in the book of revelation. Some of the Qs seemed irrelevant and the author spent many pages discussing them. Other Qs he glossed over with only a few sentences. I am sure he is an excellent pastor but I don't buy into many of his interpretations and answers. I am left wondering if the time I spent reading this one was worth it.
I love the study of the future in the Bible. Easy to understand. Bible verses are given for explanations. I now have a better understanding of questions I have asked.

My Thoughts About The Book: Because I am very interested in learning as much as I can about the end times I am always on the look out for completely Biblical well written books by established authors. 101 Answers to Questions About the Book of Revelation by Mark Hitchcock fit the bill on all accounts as far as I'm concerned. Mark was written a book about the Book of Revelation that is true to the Word of God, which is well written and definitely interesting to read.
Author Hitchcock’s book consists of 5 Key Parts: The Interpretation of Revelation, The Background of Revelation, The Revelation of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1), The Churches (Revelation 2-3) and the Consummation (Revelation 4-22). Within Parts 1-4 are relevant questions that Christians might want to know the answer to and in Part 5 the questions and answers are placed under five different significant Sections: The Scene in Heaven (4-5), The Tribulation (6-18), The Second Coming of Christ (19), The Millennium, Final Revolt and Great White Throne (20), The New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem (21-22).
The subject of the End Times and the Book of Revelation is a controversial one among believers; however, regardless of your persuasion there is something for everyone to learn in author Hitchcock’s book. And he does disclose different views that are held by people who share faith in the same Lord and are going to one day all end up at the same destination – no matter what they believed was written in the book of Revelation.
I appreciate the easy to read, easy to follow format of Mark’s book. And I am thrilled he asked and then answered many of the questions he does in the book…questions such as: “What Are the Four Main Views of Revelation?” “Who are the Seven Spirits of God?” Do the Seven Churches Represent Seven Stages of Church History?” “Is Revelation 3:20 A Gospel Invitation?” “Who Is The Great Multitude in 7:9-17” “Will the Antichrist and the Beast be a Jew or Gentile?” “What is the Mark of the Beast (666)?” “Is the Rapture the Same Event as the Second Coming?” “What is the Millennium and what are the different Views Concerning the Millennium?” What is the Great White Throne Judgment in 20:11-15?” and then in the final section of his book questions about “The New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem.” In his book author Hitchcock frequently refers to the Scriptures comparing Scripture with Scripture as well as to the writings of noted church leaders and theologians from all the ages to provide greater clarification for his answers to questions contained in his book.
If you are the lest bit confused or concerned about what is going to happen in the End Times and what the book of Revelation in the Bible means Mark Hitchcock’s book will be of great value to you as well as comfort and encouragement if you are a believer in Jesus Christ. And if you are not a believer after you read the book he offers information as to how you can become one and inherit eternal life.
