Now an alien life-form, the Subverter, has stolen Rogan's spaceship and made his friend a slave of the Domain. A loosely sci-fi fever dream with only two different endings, one of which is an abrupt game over for making a poor decision. Thanks to the construction of “choices,” some of the scenes just don’t make logical sense. No matter what choices are made, every path visits the same key scenes, just in a different order. The illustrations are typical and bland. There’s just nothing exciting about this book.
