This is a very comprehensive list of "new classics". I got this book from the library but I think it would be one I would reference quite often if I owned it. Of course I have Goodreads to keep track of the "new classics" too, but it's kind of nice having a list handy on my coffee table.

125 titles, mostly published between 1999-2004, including fiction, non-fiction, children's and teen, listed by categories. For my purposes (checking to see what good books I might not yet have on my list) would have been better to go straight to the back of the book where they are all in one list. Probably had read about half, and added about half of the remaining to my TBR or TBRAfter list.

I love book lists so I loved this book. I also got it from the library, but will purchase it for future reference. I had read many of the books listed but discovered many new ones for my always expanding list.
