And this volume marks the entry of the evil Oracion Seis. What their aim is to find Nirvana and release it. Who they need for that is Jellal. But is Jellal really on their side? Or is playing by his own rules? And how are the Oracion Seis tackling this situation? Do they end up finding Nirvana after all? Will they win, then? Or is there something else going on that neither of us are aware of by now?
The Oracion Seis literally means "the six prayers" so by the time this volume ends, we know at least one of those six prayers. It's strange how sorry I felt for Racer. I mean, the guy is literally trying to hurt all the wizards. He's a bad person. Why, then, should I feel so sad?
While reading this volume, I felt as if I falling in love with Lucy and Grey all over again. The way they fought their battles reminded me of the reason why I fell in love with them in the first place: their will to fight for what they believe is right. I'm truly happy that I got to read this beautiful volume and can't wait to find out what happens next in the fight between Lucy and Angel. Or should I say, Loke and Aries?
4.5/5 I had a lot of fun with this one. Some good battles and an intriguing story in the Oracion Seis arc. We've got the return of a past baddy. We have the reveal that Wendy is the Sky Dragon Slayer. We've got a cool fight with Gray and Lyon V. Racer. Then we top it off with a cool battle staring some Celestial mages. Good Stuff. Not to mention the Lucy Flash ::drool::.....sorry.
The guild’s being ambushed quickly turns into a rescue mission for kidnapped Wendy and Happy, learning that she is a dragon slayer and her powers are needed for a surprising reason. Chaos spirals when they learn that it’s the guild Oración Seis behind it all and now must find a way out of their impending doom. A (100%/Outstanding)
Wendy is the ‘priestess of the sky’ Ezra’s snake bite has resulted in her preparing to cut off her arm Healing magic like Wendy’s is a lost magic. Sky Dragon Slayer, Wendy Oraciōn Seis want Wendy to revive Zeref with her magic. The smaller dark guild under Oraciōn Seis ambush the groups. Grey, Natsu and Carla encounter Naked Mummy, Racer brought back a coffin, once opened, it’s not Zeref but Jellal inside. Apparently Wendy ‘owes her life to him’ Happy is trying to convince her not too Jellal saved Wendy’s life and she ‘loved him’ Natsu and Gray beat the entire Naked Mummy Guild When they arrive at the location of Wendy and Happy’s capture, racer is sent after them. Gray slips him up with his ice Wendy revived Jellal Upon his awakening, Jellal attacked Natsu and Brain (despite Brains worshiping) Gray stays back to stop Racer, using a lot of his magic power They race on motor bikes, and grey picks up Lyon. Lyon uses two hands for his ice make magic now Lyon send Gray into the sky, acting as if he’s attacking an ally When Racer gets annoyed at people underestimating him, he goes all out. Lyon reveals that it’s not Racer who is going quick, it’s hit magic that makes his opponents in a certain area go slower. That is why he sent Gray into the sky. He shoots an arrow, taking him out Racer has explosive lacrima all strapped to him (becoming a suicide bomber) but Lyon tackles him, sacrificing himself Midnight (brains son) has been awakened and sent to kill everyone Jura begins to fight hoteye Wendy manages to get all the poison from Ezra’s body Jella opens Nirvana Sherrys face… she’s pissed.. Nirvana ‘switches light to dark’ which means people with extremely negative thoughts that are close to tipping, tip. Tumbling to darkness. Like Sherry for example Nirvana switches hoteye, making him admit to missing his brother, hoping that if he had money he could find him Natsu finds ‘Gray’ floating in water it’s actually Gemini Gemini was able to control/command Sagittarius Angel revealed to Lucy she’s a celestial wizard and Angel wants Lucy’s keys Lucy opens Aquarius, but Angel opens Scorpio (her boyfriend) Lucy opens Leo next, Angel opens Aries. Angel tells Lucy that if she doesn’t know the celestial compatibility, she’ll never beat her Lucy can’t make Leo fight Aries…

Before we start? Can I please punch Wendy? I get that she is a child and that there is a whole backstory behind why she did things, but seriously, so many people tell you bad things happened and you are like "but he saved me". Ever heard of ulterior motives? No. Well grow up. Bah. That just left a bad taste as I really really really don't care or want that character again. This arc was fine with Oración Seis, the battles, Nirvana, and dark stuff happening. No need to add THAT. Now we are going to get some rehashed crap again. *sighs* Not happy. Such a shame the volumes lately have been so not my cup of tea. I do hope that things get better as I still have so many volumes left.
Ah———🤦🏻♀️ Gerard came back. Who are you? There are a lot of mysteries about him. I can’t understand you well. I only know two things about him. One, he is a childhood friend of Erza. Two, he loves R-system. What kind of maze is he? Fire?
I learned that Jura is younger than me (he's 27 and I'm turning 30 in a few months) and Ichiya is my age. Yet they both feel like they're older. It's so weird to me when I come across a character in anime and manga who's in their early 20s or my age. I should be used to it by now (since I've been reading manga since I was 14) but it still feels weird.
I remember thinking that the Fairy Tail members were being unreasonable when Erza told them to cut her poisoned arm off and and they were like no but Lyon and Jura agreed with her. I still agree with Lyon and Jura because what if she only had a few minutes left until the poison spread to the rest of her body and then she died because they were all bickering on what to do? I love the Fairy Tail gang but sometimes they're too much. I understand how they feel, but at this point losing an arm is superficial compared to dying. Yes I do agree that you shouldn't rush into things, especially such big decisions and think it through but they don't know how much time they have before the poison spreads to the rest of her body. Plus this is Erza's choice and she's 19 (yeah 19 is pretty young but at least she's old enough to understand how big a decision she made and not a child), she would rather live with one arm than die. Which reminds me of that American guy who got stuck between two big rocks in Utah (I think that was the state) and after a few days cut off his arm so that he could escape, which is what probably saved him (yeah the people who found him walking around after called authorities to get him medical treatment also helped but if he had not cut off his arm, he would have been stuck there and eventually died, who knows when anybody would have been able to find him if that had happened instead). So I agree with Sherry when she said, "Just how divorced from reality are you Fairies?" But lucky for them Wendy exists. Not gonna lie, it would have been interesting to see an Erza with a prosthetic arm (if those exist in this world). Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood looks so cool with one (I know it's not fun to have a prosthetic arm in real life and shouldn't be taken lightly but I'm talking about purely fictional stories and characters, not real life and I would never take real life things like that lightly, that would be horrible) and he uses to his advantage in fights whenever a flesh arm could have ended up bleeding.
Okay... In the beginning of this - I really wasn't feeling this arc. It feels entirely OC Peter Pan style stuff going on.
HOWEVER. The last chapter - the last page - won me over. There was some interesting things inbetween, but that major of a cliffhanger I just can't even.
This was yet another action packed volume of Fairy Tail with a bunch of different twist and turns I was not expecting!!!! We learned about another type of Dragon Slayer magic, learned about another type of magic that has recently been discovered in the world (I'm interested to see where that goes), and had some amazing battles in an effort to save Happy, Wendy and Erza. There's some more interaction with dark guilds and we finally figure out what Nirvana truly does.
I should have seen that plot twist coming but because it's me, I obviously was 100% and gasped when I read it (I got some weird looks in public lol). But because of this, I can not wait to see what happens with this Nirvana magic. Also the battles Gray, Lyon and Lucy (still to finished) where amazing and really show how much they care about what they are fighting for. The cliff hanger in this one with Lucy's battle really makes me want to see what outcomes turns out to be!
The battle between the Oracion Seis guild and Fairy Tail's alliance of guilds continues as both groups search the woods for the source of Nirvana magic, an ancient and mysterious power. Wendy, who is a healer for the good guys, has been kidnapped by the Oracion Seis. Erza has been poisoned by one of the Oracion Seis, so the number one priority is to recover Wendy to heal Erza. Turns out the bad guys kidnapped Wendy to heal someone else...Jellal from the Tower of Heaven story arc! He's revived, Wendy is recovered, and Erza is healed. Meanwhile, the Nirvana magic is also activated. It has a nefarious effect--it turns good people into bad and bad people into good. Can the Fairy Tail team succeed without getting corrupted? The story isn't finished in this issue but is exciting with a strong cliffhanger ending.
• Jellal revival and the beginning of his redemption arc slay!! Absolute worst case of mistaken identity ever, but I got Jerza endgame from it, so really, we should let all 12 year old girls dabble in necromancy from time to time. • Racer was absolutely lame as fuck, and Lyon and Gray had him out so fucking quick. • Sherry evil arc for like five seconds there. She is not the Juvia she thinks she is. • Hoteye, however? Love a good bad to good speedrun. He got his redemption arc before he even pulled any bad shit. • Natsu saving Wendy: 😆 • Natsu being tricked into getting on a boat 5 mins later: 🤢 • Hibiki was the MVP of this entire Arc if we're being honest, Archive is a really cool magic. It's a shame he was surrounded by irrelevant and annoying side characters so he couldn't have had a better role. • Looking forward to another Celestial Spirit vs Celestial Spirit match.

Wendy is abducted! Ezra is poisoned! Fairy Tail and the other guilds are backed against the wall and the more is learned about the mysterious power being referred to as Nirvana! A great sacrifice is made that comes as the biggest shock (to me at least) so far in the entire book! The stakes continue to be raised and I find this more impressive as I felt that would be more difficult for the book to continue, and it has been successful. The art and story are solid as always and the new characters introduced are interesting. I always wonder how much planning for some of these characters did Hiro Mashima put into them...some seem like they may be around for a long time while others feel as if they will be here for this battle....and never seen or heard of again. Another fun volume.
The Oración Seis kidnapped Wendy and Happy. Wendy is a Sky Dragon Slayer that have an ability to use healing magic. The Oración Seis want Wendy to cure Jellal who bathed in ethernanos. Wendy revived Jellal ans he was on the loose. Gray and Lyon faced Racer and managed to defeat him. Racer blown himself along with Lyon. Jellal broke the seal of the Nirvana and a light shoot up in the sky. Hibiki knows the true nature of Nirvana that can reversed light and darkness, good and evil.
This one… this one was really good. I found the resurrection of an old enemy to be lacking though. The reason it isn’t a five star really. I like the turning good to evil aspect and things of that nature. The art continues to be good, and the story pacing is fast, but it is a manga so that isn’t unexpected.
Overall, it was really good but not great. Too much cliché for me, I like my villains to have more epic resurrection arcs if they are being revived. Too bad, but still worth reading.
Nice continuation of the battle with the Oracion Seis. The secret of Nirvana is revealed by a member of the joint light-guild team sent to stop the Oracion Seis from securing Nirvana, and a supposedly dead character makes a surprise return appearance. The tension grows thicker...
My favorite part of this, by far, was the ending. I loved seeing two Celestial wizards fight. And it was interesting that Angel was winning because she knew the spirits better, she summoned Scorpio against Aquarius because she knew they were dating, and then at the end, summoned Aries against Leo.

The part which really got me shocked was when the book showed that the bad character Jellal returned. The character Wendy whos as a dragon slayer has the forbidden healing msgic so she healed Jellal who apparently helped her in the past.

That’s a good one! Jellal revived, Wendy and him in the past, Natsu tried to stop Jellal to activate Nirvana Tower. Wendy’s ability in healing magic, the lost magic ever. Another fight of Celestial Wizard one.
