Nature doesn't care who you are. It doesn't care what you are. It doesn't care what position you were born into. Doesn't care what others expect of you.
But things like designations and nature have never really bothered Gabriella. After all, it's not something most people even worry about until their late twenties when they start to present, and she's the daughter of two betas, so, her future is pretty set. She has more concerning things to worry about.
Like the fact that she's the only child of Renaldo Santorini, Head of the Santorini Syndicate. She has an Empire to learn and run.
She doesn't have time to think about Alphas losing their minds without an Omega, and Omegas being too weak to protect themselves without an Alpha around them.
But when she learns more about her father's Alpha Enforcer program, where Alphas can somehow exist without the touch of an Omega, and meets his Head Enforcer and her new bodyguard Matthew, suddenly, she has questions.
Like, can he really exist without the touch of an Omega? Why aren't his Alpha Pheromones sending her running for the hills? And, why won't her father tell her all the details of this Alpha Program, like how it works, and why he even started looking into controlling the instincts of nature?
Nature cannot be cured. It can be held at bay, kept trapped beneath the surface, but eventually, it can no longer be contained.
And when a masked Omega returns to her suppressed Alpha Mate, they can only fight nature for so long.
This Mafia Omegaverse Romance is a soft romance in a dark world. It features a plus-size Omega heroine who is determined to take what belongs to her, and her Alpha Enforcer soulmate who would destroy the world for her.

Dear reader, Devoted Destruction is a soft, sweet romance in a dark, organized crime world. Please note Devoted Destruction contains the following...
Sexual Content, including Breeding Kink, Biting Kink, and various Omegaverse Typical Antics such as knotting, scenting, biting, and slick events.
Organized Crime Related Violence, including physical violence, gun usage, drugging/incapacitating, kidnapping, threats, blood, and some dead bad guys.
Other things to note is the presence of some light body shaming, misandry, living with health issues, medical gaslighting, the death of a loved one, and discussions of pregnancy.
These are morally dark grey main characters who love each other to the point of destroying everyone who stands in their way keeping them apart.
And with that, I wish you all a happy reading. Please take care of yourself!
This was an interesting premise and something different, but I have to say this was my least favorite title I’ve read from this author. Maybe my expectations were too high but her shifter series are much more my cup of tea.
This was my very first Omegaverse book and I really enjoyed it. Honestly, one of my favorite tropes is like, "You touch her and you die". I loved all the Garoureve books that Elle has written and I was looking forward to this one a lot and it totally delivered.
I have been waiting for this one! As soon as Elle said she was writing an Omegaverse book, I was so PUMPED! I’m an avid mafia romance and Omegaverse reader and combing the two was just *chef’s kiss* and this was a new spin on it and it was fantastic. And a plus-size FMC! Yessss!
Gabriella, the heir to the Santorini Crime Family, Beta daughter of two Beta parents, or so she’s been brought up to believe, is finally being allowed to get involved with the family business and learn more about her fathers Alpha Enforcer program, which allows the Alphas to live without an Omega. She meets his Head Enforcer and her new bodyguard, Matthew, and that’s when the sparks fly and she’s left with LOTS of questions…
I don’t want to give too much away but y’all better read this book.
dnf at 80%. 3 stars bc the premise is pretty cool but this book is absolutely waaaaaaaaaay too long. not that I have an issue with longer romance books, but it just felt like the crux of the book (Gabriella's kidnapping, subsequent rescue, and the heat) happened way too early. only halfway through?? we don't need to see every single thought and moment that they have. even if anything major happens after where I read I can't imagine giving this a higher rating bc I would have had to absolutely drag myself through needless exposition to get there.

Matthew needed to learn to stfu why was he out here telling all of Gabriella’s business to his friends. Like her being turned on and her saying spicy lines to him like I’m just getting second hand embarrassment 💀💀💀💀
I was getting sick of hearing how everyone could smell how turned on Gabriella was and how people knew she was omega but herself 🤨
The amount of second hand embarrassment this book gave me was insane but besides that it was an enjoyable read

This world of Omegas and Alphas was made complicated by those who were less than. They had no idea the natural order if things would come full circle. Gabriella and Matthew were tethered on a whole other level. Not even time nor distance tempered their connection to each other. They found each other again and didn't let go. They are the start of something new for all the Omegas and Alphas. I can't wait for Alessandro's book. Hapoy writing Elle.
Exactly what the blurb promised, sweet without being too cutesy. Gabrielle was awesome, independent, strong in a realistic way (bar the whole omega thing lol) but not doing the annoying thinks she knows better thing which happens a fair bit in mafia trope books. Would be interested in reading more in this world
Spicy, male female, dual point of view, paranormal (non-shifting omegaverse), contemporary romance. An engaging premise and interesting read. A fantastic mash up of omegaverse and mafia. I loved this couple so much, and their chemistry was off the charts. This did not end in a cliffhanger, but instead a to be continued. Looking forward to the next installment and couple!
This book needs some serious editing. From typos to grammar to sentence structure and constant repetition of information, it was annoying. The story has a lot of potential, but I kept getting pulled out of the story because of said mistakes. Not sure if I will keep reading if there are more books. Probably if they had proper editing done.
I really wanted to love this but it needs to be heavily edited and I struggled to get through it for that reason. Also, a note to the author, TRUST YOUR READER TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOURE SAYING. The repetition and word vomit was too much. I’ve never read an omegaverse before but I like the premise. I’ll try some more books and even this author.
1. Darker setting than other series but a walking green flag of a romance 2. Still your favorite spice level 3. Looking forward to the next in the series, I won't say who because spoilers lol
