Review for issues 1-3
Certainly an interesting take on who the Joker is in this alternate reality. Most of issue 1 and 2 was setting up issue 3, so there's not much to the story. I enjoyed the twist/joke that Joker played, but overall it lacks a little depth.

I really loved this alternate reality even though it was incredibly sad. I would recommend it to anyone that loved the new Joker movie. While I was reading this comic I could not help but think of one of Joker's last line in the Dark Knight:
"This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You truly are incorruptible, aren't you, huh? You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness, and I won't kill you because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever."

Holy crap- what a twisted way to end this! Definitely my favorite of the 3 issues! Overall- this Batman comic was an excellent ‘what-If’ story- and an amazing joker origin story by the end! The beginning is a tiny bit slow- but the end is so amazing that it’s sooooo worth getting through it just to see the amazing end! Definitely read it! For the entire comic I’d give it a 4/5 stars!

I'm a little upset with how short it was, but it was damn good

It really offered a fantastic back story to the flash point, focused on Thomas waynes batman and the new joker. I love the way the world got twisted. It has a fantastic ending in my opinion.

Bruce? wait, you have to remember. It's me Barry, Barry Allen. Bruce is dead. I watched him die. My god. . . he's the one who die that night in the alley. You. . . You're his father. . . Thomas Wayne —Flashpoint paradox animated movie

Review is actually for issues 1-3 Knight of Vengeance

Batman's origin story is one of the most popular hero origin to exist. Everyone is aware of it or atleast should be whether you're a fan of the Caped Crusader or not. On that fateful night all those years ago, young Bruce parents Thomas and Martha Wayne was shot down by a mugger. Following the tragic incident Bruce Wayne dedicated his life and swore vengeance against crime.

But "What If" young Bruce Wayne had died that day and his parents survived. That's exactly what happens in these events of Flashpoint: Batman Knight of Vengeance.

A Blow Against Banality

This comic book is a blunt instrument of eye-pop swung against the skull-drudgery of banality of boring. An interplay between black-n-white picture panels with colour dazzle the eye. This is eye-pop graphic comic book stuff. The black-n-white image frames display background content with colour present content in a concise way producing a scene. An efficient economy of storytelling is demonstrated as it progresses from scene to scene. Good eye and mental pop is this stuff, for an example of graphic comic book's best.

First of all: What about those kids?! She needed medical assistance.
The use of angles to jut important details and let plot flow without using text is amazing. The use of specific colours in the otherwise greyish spectrum of memories is also of note.
All in all it was twisted, sad and disturbing until the very end. And I don't feel pity for Martha's end. Enough is enough.

One of the best Batman stories ever written. Gritty, dark, and with an ending that'll hit you right in the gut and make the best of men and women feel for the Wayne family and the torture they've suffered. A stellar read.
