Good resource book on starting and running a coffee bar despite its target audience for North America. Reading the book without CD-ROM, this 4th edition gets you going to realise your dream by questions, checklists, samples and commitment pledge.

Victory flavours the prepared. This very complete manual is required reading for anyone thinking of adding a coffee operation to their business(s). The fun remains but backed by an exhaustive list of what must be done.

I think this book was awesome. As much as “What I know about running coffee shops” is wisdom based, this book is practical and analytically based. It breaks down the entire process of starting and running a coffee bar from A-Z in great detail. For a non business minded person such as myself it is fantastically helpful for allowing me to sketch out my daydream of owning a coffee shop in much greater detail.

I bought this book for a friend who was interested in getting into the coffee business, and read it myself because I wanted to understand what was happening better.
