PEEKABOO FARM

Rate this book
This down-home tour of a farm starts in the big red barn, where children can count bunnies, jars, rakes, and more  from 1 to 20. Then it's out to the garden to lift the flaps and pull up carrots and potatoes. In the barnyard, kids can identify the mommies, daddies, and baby animals that live on the farm. Later on, they can tinker with tractors, trucks, and farm tools. And finally, an old-fashioned alphabet quilt has 26 flaps that reveal quaint objects from farm life.

Wonderful lift the flap book about life on a farm. There is a page on numbers, a page on letters, a page on baby animals, a page that shows which vegetables grow where and what the plants the grown on look like. Takes a long time to read the whole thing, so I didn't like it as a bedtime book, but wonderful for when I'm looking to spend 20 mintues or so reading to my kids. Plus my older ones like to read it themselves.
