La sexta edición del clásico libro de Thomas Leahey, Historia de la Psicología, supone una mejora considerable con respecto a la anterior edición, la cuarta, ya que el autor se ha abierto aún más a los historiadores de la ciencia, tanto desde una perspectiva interna como externa. Además, se han añadido múltiples textos de literatos y filósofos que no aparecían en anteriores ediciones.

En cuanto a la traducción castellana, ha procurado ser lo más fiel posible al texto. La revisión técnica ha sido muy rigurosa y la han realizado los profesores que imparten esta asignatura en la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.

Pretty dense material, this book mostly about psychology's philosophical inheritance. Suddenly a lot makes sense (I better not say this out loud in class).
Worth the read, though I'm taking away one star because the book is unnecessarily hard to use for studying, which I'm sure is what it's written for. Some visual overviews and summaries wouldn't hurt.

Pretty interesting, but sometimes quite boring. The best part, for me, is when it starts to talk about Freud, dismantling the 'myth' (I admit it, I don't like Freud theories, neither psychoanalysis, in my opinion totally unuseful)
