very short and in desperate need of a good editor

This book comes off as very badly written but I think it mostly just needs a thorough proofreading by a good editor. The grammar, spelling, punctuation and composition errors were very distracting from the content. It was also very short, without a whole lot of detail. It seemed poorly researched because of that. Overall, I didn’t find it worth the money at all. I would advise anyone against buying this ebook, even if you like the author’s other works. This one is not up to par.

S. Smith's Review

I really enjoyed the story. However, I was surprised that it wasn't edited better before the manuscript was accepted as a novel. I will recommend this book to any of my friends who like true-crime stories.

I liked it...

I've always enjoyed watching Fanning on TV, so I thought I would give her books a try. I was familiar with this case so I thought it was a good place to start. I wish it were a little longer and there was more detail about the investigation.

I enjoyed this quick easy read about Betty Neumar who was married 5 times and had 5 dead husbands. I was not familiar with Betty Neumar and I enjoyed reading about her.

Very poorly written

The subject is interesting to any true crime reader, but it's hard to get past the disjointed writing. Needs a good editor. Reporting a time line that mAkes sense would improve this book tremendously. I finished the book feeling like I wasted my time. Don't bother.

The subtitle is 'Five Dead Husbands and the Continuing Mystery of Betty Neumar.' It's a quick and interesting read if you don't mind errors and an inconclusive ending.
