It's rather dated now, as far as health issues go (heart-healthy diets have changed a bit, etc), and there are spots of suspension of belief as far as broken bones being usable within three weeks....the plot is pretty simplistic as far as good/bad goes (the antagonist is childishly naughty and not very nuanced.) I think the biggest one for me was having someone with broken ribs and two broken arms be able to use crutches to get around within three weeks of a car crash.
I did like the Christian parts...it's definitely an inspirational novel. And it was really refreshing to have a romance with a couple that has grown kids/grandkids!
