This is an AMAZING AWESOME ZOMBIE THRILLER. A BELIEVABLE PLOT and a great cast of characters. I'm a zombie tales fan and say this is one of the BEST takes on zombies I have the pleasure of reading . I totally RECOMMEND it open you ENJOY IT as much as have. Looking forward to book 2 .
I was intrigued by this book, when I read the synopsis. This is not your typical zombie story. 3 types?! Holy cow! That's awesome! The characters, story line and all, was well thought out. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be reading book 2.
Well, it IS a typical zombie story with people trying to get home, trying to find their families, traveling cross country while facing many difficulties.
The difference here is that there are three different types of zombies: the "normal" ones who try to eat you, the dead ones who don't know they're dead and are pretty much harmless, and there are -of course- the demon dead, whose whole purpose is destroying all the living and are ultra-agressive and worst of all, so intelligent that they learn.
No kidding.
I'm not going to lie, it really was an entertaining book, I really liked that not everybody died, however, I was kind of expecting a different ending.
All in all, it's an interesting and entertaining option if you enjoy zombie stories
Downloaded a handful of freebies for the Kindle, this is one of 'em. I've been in a zombie sort of mood here lately, and this story sounded interesting, so I went ahead and got it. It was a pretty quick read. I thought the author had some neat ideas. I liked the characters, could easily imagine them. The action was good, there was gory stuff, but it wasn't overdone or too gross. There were also some parts that made me laugh, things that happened or that the characters said. I also liked the 'gomer' zombies, I thought that was interesting. There were a few spelling/grammar/punctuation type mistakes, but nothing a good editor couldn't easily fix, and it wasn't enough to take me out of the story. I enjoyed this one, fit my zombie craving.
