Heartwarming, fantastic story

This book is like a basket, each character a reed to be woven into an intricate, beautiful piece of art. When I opened the book and started reading, I could tell right away that this was not an average, run of the mill romance. I could also feel the heart and intelligence of the author.
Choose this book for something a little different to read. Read this book because you won't be able to put it down. Finish this book because you just have to know what wonderful feels like.
Thank you Brooke Williams for a well thought out story and characters that float off the pages and into my heart. <3

A poignant, heartwarming love story!

I loved this book! It grabbed me from the first page, and I found myself unable to put it down. Cory and Jordan's romance and subsequent separation captured my heart, as did Jay and Madison's love story, and Dr Rodriguez' compelling story as well. The author skillfully weaves these three storylines into a complex, but wholly satisfying conclusion that had me in tears; but happy ones! If you like reading wholesome, feel-good, romantic novels, I think you'll love this book as much as I did!

So Sad She Missed Raising Her Baby

Jordan was young and in love and she got pregnant. It happens to a lot of girls, but there is no way I would give up my baby for any reason. Call me selfish I don’t care. I would beg whoever I had to for help before I gave up my child. I get it. She may really believe that she did it for the best reason and I’m glad things worked out in the end, but you miss out on so much in between. She had people she could of turned to. So many girls don’t have people they can turn to. : -)

A little disappointing.

This started out with such a bang....but then it kind of stalled in rather depressing background set-up for several chapters. At times I felt there was just too much intricate detail. About half way thru it got better again, and I'm glad it kept me reading till the end. All-in-all it was a good story. There were several missing words and a few typos that I found rather distracting too. They actually seemed to be more prevalent in the first half of the book also.

Emotional story.

I have just finished this book and it will remain with me for a long time. However I nearly didn't compete the book . I stopped Reding it two or three times and nearly deleted it, but suddenly half way through it started to make sense and I couldn't put it down. I would recommend that people persevere with the first part as it does add essential background information.

Heartwarming and heartbreaking

The first little bit of this book concerned me because it had memories and flashbacks so the timeline was skewed and I usually don't like those, but the story grabbed me and WOW! This is definitely in the top of my "hit me in the feels" books. What a beautiful story and so amazing and really makes you think about not only who loves you but who you love as well.

Were so many characters in the book sometimes it was ddifficult to keep them all straight in your mind , however I still enjoyed it!!

This could be a good story but it's lost in the telling.

For starters, it would have benefited from editing and proofreading .
There were many glowing errors that could have been resolved by fact-checking (Cardiologists don't do surgery.
Houston's space center is not even close to the dome or the zoo).
A lot of things just don't make sense.

And they became a family

I really enjoyed the book. I would certainly recommend it as a good read. I was really anxious to see how Jay would fit into the storyline of Jordan's life. The author wove that expertly. I am a sucker for a tear jerker. And I shed a good number as the family was finally united.

A'la The Notebook

If you like "The Notebook", you will find this a great joy. Moments of sadness as people ebb and flow and tell their life story. But in the end, happy coincidences and reunions abound.

Title- Someone Always Loved You
Author- Brooke Williams
Rating- 5 STARS!
OVERVIEW- His first day on the job, ambulance driver Jay has a horrible accident. The victim of the crash is thrown into a coma and Jay keeps vigil by her side. As their lives, past and present intertwine; a story of love through time unfolds. An intricate drama including adoption, love, suspense, and plenty of questions, Someone Always Loved You is a novel that keeps the mind churning and the soul alive.
REVIEW- This is one of those books...told in third person, depicting the lives of many different people at different times in their lives. I usually find this point in books very irritating, but with Someone Always Loved You, I found this the best aspect of the book. The story was at a neutral pace throughout constantly changing from scene to scene, time to time. The plot that was conceived from Brooke's imagination is one that kept me constantly guessing. This is one of the best books I have read in a long, long time. The characters, especially, were very well thought out and described. My favourite character would have to be Evan Rodriguez, who isn't spoken about too much in the novel, yet plays a very essential character. I don't know how I can describe the greatness of this book, without giving anything away, but the way this story has unfolded, was something I never expected. The realisation of guilt, family, friends, and love, is highly concentrated on by Williams and, in my eyes, there is nothing to criticise in her work. To pick a favourite scene from this book is very difficult for me as I loved every page of it, but the end was a perfect end to a perfect novel, and I don't think anyone could've written it better. There was one character in particular that I started despising( I don't want to name him, if you read the book you'll know who I am talking about) but towards the final pages of the book, I started viewing things from his eyes, and It churned a lot of emotions in me. This is a marvellous read. Make sure you don't miss out! One of the best story's ever to be told <3

Someone Always Loved You
By Brooke Williams

Wow! What a great read with ton of emotion.

Word of Warning: I don't do spoilers, so I won't say too much about the storyline in this or any of my reviews. It's more fun to read the book when you don't know how it's going to turn out, don't you think?

So Someone Always Loved You is the story of Jordan and Corey James. And within just the first couple pages, the story pulls at your heart, as it opens with Jordan rushing to the hospital to get to her husband, Corey, who just suffered a massive heart attack. Not only is she scared to death she's not going to make it to him in time, but she has something that she has to tell him, something she wants him to know before he dies. The taxi gets her to the hospital, and as she's about the race across the street to get inside, she fails to look, and steps out in front of an ambulance and is hit. Yes, that's how the story opens guys. I know, right?

Someone Always Loved You is a story about the James' life together, along with Jay - who drove the ambulance and his wife, and one more person I won't mention simply because I'm afraid it will give away some of the story. Ultimately, it is the story of love and second chances, although not in a way you may think.

I totally recommend Someone Always Loved You. It does have a lot of flashbacks in the way of memories for all of the characters, so you have to pay attention as you read to stay on track with what is happening and when. That said, the author executes this part of the book beautifully, and in the end, it will all make sense as to why it was a necessary part of writing the story. If you have a family, be sure to read with a box of tissues, you need them.

My rating: 4.5 stars

Ambulance driver Jay has a really bad first day on the job when he speeds toward the ER and accidentally hits a woman hurrying to see her ill husband. Overcome by guilt, he sits by Jordan's bedside and gets to know her husband, all the while unaware of how his own past is intertwined with theirs.

Author Brooke Williams moves between past and present to tell a story of young love and difficult choices and the fine line between chance and fate. It's a quiet book that deals with big human and spiritual questions. Simple cause and effect, action and consequence, play out against a grander spiritual design that nudges things along behind the scenes.

With so much back story, the pacing gets a bit slow in places. There's a lot of co-incidence driving the plot twists, but as there's a strong spiritual element to this novel, this doesn't undermine the reading experience to any great degree. It's easy to like Williams's believably flawed characters and the reader wants to follow them to the end of their story. Dr. Evan Rodriguez shined the most for me. His single-mindedness, his loyalty to a promise from his childhood really moved me. I wanted to know more about him. He seemed to have no life--romantic or otherwise--outside of his work and his private vow.

SOMEONE ALWAYS LOVED YOU is a touching family drama with enough emotion and compassion to make up for any minor plot issues.

I really enjoyed reading “Someone Always Loved You” by Brooke Williams. When Jay accidently runs over Jordan with an ambulance on his first day of work, he is absolutely shattered. The story then goes on to tell how Jordan and Jay’s lives came to be the way they are. This story shows that everything happens for a reason.

When I finished reading “Someone Always Loved You”, I was left with a satisfied smile on my face. This story has it all. Romance, a little mystery and a whole lot of surprises. Williams’ writing style is calm yet exciting at the same time. The characters in this story were all loveable. Every character had a purpose in this story. I felt so bad for Jay. At first I did not understand why he did the things he did, but Williams explained everything eventually. Jordan was a strong female character. I loved how Jordan and Cory’s relationship started. My favorite thing about “Someone Always Loved You” was all the secrets and mysteries, and how they all came together. Williams reveals the answers to these little mysteries a little at a time. There are few books that I have read that have left me feeling happy at the end. This is one story that I will not soon forget.

This is the first book by Williams that I have read. Since I enjoyed it so much I look forward to reading her other novels in the future. If you like to read dramas, then this book is a must read.

I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This is such a sweet story. Not the normal story I read. You know man finds the one he wants and one of them has something holding them back from being together. This was definitely an emotional roller coaster ride. I think I had every emotion possible during this story. I love the title of this book, Someone Always Loved You. You need to read this to find out about the title. I don't want to say too much about it because it is so better to read it all. Like why did Jay have an accident on his first day of his new job? Why was it that victim and not someone else? Were they fated to have their paths cross?

During the time Jay is sitting vigil by this victim's bedside, we learn more about Jay and this victim. I wanted so many questions to be answered and I kept guessing what I thought.

Loved the ending a lot. I was crying. It was so filled of emotions.
