KR Bankston you have done it again. Bankston shows that she is a verstile writer. She can kill them off and she can also make them fall in love. This books give the reads a quick fix when it comes to reads. This quickie is great for readers that can't do a full lenght novel but can use a great story.
My new favorite buzz phrase is "I love their love".....Okay, so I borrowed the phrase, it still expresses how I felt about the characters of this book. Those of you who have read the Thin Ice Series and the Gianni Legacy, may think you know KR Bankston's writing style. Well let me just say....you're in for a surprise and a treat. Kr Bankston is one those authors you can not put in a box and label.....she will change it up and she does it so well. In my opinion, that's a true testament to an Author's talent, being able to switch gears and still command your audience's attention. Kr does this in this book and it is definitely a page turner. I loved Jared and Morgan, Brian and Trinity and even Gavin and Shonna. Gavin and Shonna were not very likable at the beginning of the book, however as the story progresses, you will find yourself pulling for them too. No good story would be complete without secrets, struggles and a few sickos. Well this is no exception, however I'm glad they were dealt with without a lot of unnecessary dialogue and drama. It was nice to be able to read a story, without huge emotional potholes. I especially liked the spiritual life lessons sprinkled through-out the story. It is definitely A MUST READ, which leaves me with only one question for KR. What's next in your little bag of treats? I can't wait to see!!
KR Bankston never disappoint. I look forward to reading all works from this author. There is always mystery. Even though I rarely read shorts, I enjoy this one. The author leaves you wanting more.
Liked the ending! It took me a minute to read this book, not that it wasn't good, I was reading other books around the same time. I have been very pleased with KR Bankston's books. I do recommend.
