The nonfiction book about the matter was an interesting book to read. This book talked about the matter and how it’s everywhere around us. The matter has three states which are gas, liquid and solid. Scientists have also discovered more variations of these states of matter outside of earth. A change in temperature every day can cause changes in matter. Many famous scientists that study matter and have made big theories about how they could invent new things. Until today, there are many things scientists are stilling trying to figure out. For example, is there is 96% of dark matter and energy in the universe. They have also found that when matter meets it’s matching antimatter it disappears but releases its energy. The overall matter is a very interesting subject that can be exciting to learn about.

Before reading this book I had many questions but throughout the book, got answered. One question was, How does this affect your Knowledge? This book taught me so many things because honestly I didn’t know anything about matter and because of this book I want to read more about this. Another question would be, Did this book change anything about your thinking? I actually didn’t really know about matter except that is was something that was everywhere and it had different states. The last question would be, What kind of book is this? This book was an informative reading book that talked about Matter and everything around it. The author was I think a scientist or a specialized in science. The Book, A Material World, What is Matter, is a book I would like to reread and I enjoy.

This science book is not big but teaches you a lot about everything that is related to matter. My favorite part of this book was when they showed you how to do experiments related to air water and matter. My least favorite part was when they talked about some things that I didn’t really understand and it was a little off topic. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to learn about matter or is interested in science. I would also recommend this book to all middle schoolers since everyone loves to learn about science and experiments. In conclusion, I really enjoyed reading this book and I learned many facts I never knew.
