This author is a gifted writer that I found out about on literotica...Ms Ray story begins with Ethan a vampire who has no remorse for his actions until he has to deal with what he has done to his mate. The story is well developed and the characters are engaging...add it to your holiday reading

Ethan by Yvonne Ray is book one in The Sinclaire Family Redemption series and was first published in 2013; it remains one of the most unusual vampire novels I have ever encountered. Ethan comes from a long line of privilege, bred to take without asking. When he meets his mate, he does not recognize the call of their connection and in his arrogance uses force. Katrina is already struggling with low self esteem and crippling loneliness. Ethan’s actions throw her into a tailspin. Once Ethan comes to realize what he has done he does not know how to fix the mess he is in. His mate and the love of his life hates him and loathes the thought of him, how will he ever find redemption? This book was hard to read due to the emotionality of Katrina’s pain and her feelings of hopelessness as well as Ethan’s original mind set. Ms. Ray did not wrap up her resolution quickly and Ethan had to work for his redemption. The next book in the series is about Mason, a prominent figure in Ethan and Katrina’s story, and is available on Kindle. I was not able to find Patrick’s story or the one involving the twins.

Hard subject matter, but an interesting take on it. This series is one of my favorites, from an author that can write complex characters like no one's business.

Ok read

Not a bad book. Definitely had an interesting premise just a little drawn out and overly cautious in how the characters interacted with each other.
