Do you ever wonder how God is at work when all you see is evidence of a broken, unjust world? Have you ever struggled to see hope during hard times? We all long to see restoration in our lives and in the world around us.
Only through Christ can we truly be restored. A Study on the Book of Joel is a 3-week study through the prophetic book of Joel. Though it is just 3 short chapters, each one is filled with truths that point to the restoration only Jesus can provide.
This study • Unpack rich biblical truths, such as the Day of the Lord and the promise of the Spirit, that ultimately point to our joy found in Christ • Remind you how God is faithful to His promises just as He will remain faithful to you today • Help you better understand the message of the Minor Prophets and how it fits within the story of Scripture • Show you how God can redeem your shame and mourning and draw you closer to Himself • Walk you verse by verse so that you can learn to seek God, repent, and allow Him to restore you from the sin and shame in your life

The week one content was phenomenal. Challenging, clear, making profound connections. The whole study was worth it for that section alone!
The following sections were still good, but significantly less strong. The authors seemed afraid to talk about the destruction of sin and the day of judgement without instantly making their focus on God’s mercy. Which of course, His mercy is central to the story of our salvation, but his judgement of sin isn’t a conversation to avoid or try to make more ‘positive’.
Beautiful workbook, good scripture connections in various study segments, mildly obsessive about identifying sin in our lives which leads to a sense of repetition at times rather than insight into God
