At seventeen years old, Lorelei Starke was America's hope for gymnastic gold. A car crash cost her full use of her leg, a damaged voice and years of surgeries and physical therapy. Because of the hounding of the media, pity and sympathy of friends and family, and the scars on heart and body, she retreated to the country and her aunt's house to recover, to build a new life for herself. Financially secure, challenged by her career in computer game design, she was content. If she longed for more, no one but she knew.Alex Kane, Atlanta computer software executive, had pursued personal success with single minded determination. He had taken on all comers in a highly competitive field and won. He was at the top of his game and he wasn't ready to even take a vacation until a physical exam highlighted what he was doing to his body. This was one battle he couldn't afford to lose and it was the only battle he wanted to deny. A wrong turn, a rundown house and a lost dog brought the woman out of the fog, a woman who didn't speak. Her daily ride, a ritual that was as necessary as breathing, was interrupted by curses and a man.Alex didn't fit her world. Lorelei couldn't live in his. A simply sensational read that blends dazzling romance and intriguing characterization

I was so thrilled when informed that I had won a copy of this novel through a Goodreads, first-read giveaway as it was already at the top of my to-read list; having caught my eye! The combination of sparkling romance and a fascinating storyline compelled me to read this book, which is not typically something that I would read (genre).
Wonderfully engaging, interesting and thoroughly entertaining from page 1…this novel exceeded and surpassed all my expectations by miles. I can honestly say that I am so glad I did read this book, as it touched me inwardly and is a story that has nestled itself within a special place of my heart forever. Basically, this is a book that I will without a doubt be re-reading again. Lacey Dancer is an accomplished writer, who gets ‘under the skin’ of her characters and brings them to life on the page.

CHOICES is about 17 year old Lorelei who was a top Gymnast for America, and who damaged her leg in a car crash. With crashed dreams she is devastated; retreating to the country to live with her Aunt. In the country she builds a new life and slowly the scars begin to heal. Alex Kane then appears…and the story commences!

Full of unexpected twists and turns in the plot that keep you guessing, together with building tension, this suspenseful story is a scintillating multi-layered read. The author goes into such detail in regards to each characters background history, making the story all the more authentic and realistic. Highly compelling, addictive and engaging CHOICES is a brilliant book that I would recommend to all.

I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to read such an outstanding, thoroughly enjoyable and unmissable tale. If you are looking for something new to add to your reading list, then I urge you to pluck this book from the shelf and take a chance…as you may find yourself astonished by the surprise!

Just got finished with the first book in the Pippa series by Lacey Dancer. Not a bad read for a romance novel. I will be starting the next book in the series this week.

I was happily surprised to have won this first read signed book from Lacey Dancer. I had not read any of her books before but the synopsis of the story intrigued me. Lorelei and Alex's story was beautiful and inspiring, the type of book that you want to have coffee or hot chocolate and a throw blanket when you read it. I loved the vivid landscape of the county with rustic houses. Lorelei, Alex and the aunt Pippa all found a way to live life on their own terms despite their obstacles and by doing so lived an even more fulfilling life. This will be a book that I will re-read. I enjoyed the experience and will try other Lacey Dancer books.

I don't usually read romance books, but a friend recommended this one to me and I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! The characters had me from the first page and I devoured the entire book in one day. There were a few unexpected twists and turn that kept me guessing but I just knew there had to be a happy ending and I wasn't disappointed. I'm already anxious for more from this writer and I hope I meet these characters again!!

Choices by Lacey Dancer was one of the best romance novels that I have read in a long time. I am more into mystery and thriller type books but found that this love story was very much to my liking. There were many tense moments and I waited impatiently for the main "couple" to finally get together. But it was definately worth it.

Welcome back, Lacey Dancer! I had the pleasure of reading "Silent Enchantment" and love "Choices". Lacey Dancer's characters have always been her strength. Her women are strong but still very feminine. Her men are so sexy they beg to be removed from the pages for an introduction. I'm looking forward to more Enhanced Reprints as well as everything new Lacey writes.

Excellent

I remember this author from her Kismet series. This is a sweet story of finding love after receiving injuries from an accident.
Wonderful read.
