About the author

Derek Prince (1915-2003), was an International Bible teacher and founder of Derek Prince Ministries International, wrote more than fifty books.
He was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His daily radio broadcast, Derek Prince Legacy Radio, still reaches listeners around the world.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a book filled with prayers for doing spiritual warfare. The proclamations added a new dimension of spiritual warfare for me. This is the second book I've read by Derek Prince and I plan to read more.

Prince encourages believers to speak in faith through Scripture, in light of the ultimate reason for their hope.

I declare and repeat;
“The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus.
Through the blood of Jesus I have the boldness to enter into the presence of God. The blood of Jesus cries out continually to God in Heaven on my behalf.”
(Romans 3:23-25, 8:33-34; Hebrews 10:19, 12:24).

I heard about this book from a friend in Israel who was mentored by Derek Prince. He continues to speak highly of him. I needed a book like this. Filled with prayers & proclamations! It's a small book, but filled with tools for winning spiritual warfare. With this book, you will be reminded how to use the bible as the authority over trials, struggles, and the challenges of life. Proclaim and confess these prayers to lift you up.

This is a very good handy book for quick reference when we encounter any conflicts or spiritual warfares. Written by Pastor Derek & Ruth Prince, it exhort us to take up this challenge and be equipped in overcoming the spiritual warfare with three simplified strategies: Proclaim!!, Thanks! and Praise!!

To use a quote from one of Derek Prince other books, "Remember, when you're reading your Bible, your Bible is also reading you. It is a two-way transaction." His books points you to the Bible. Going to the Bible seems to me as not being a lot different than going to the doctor. When you go he examines you and begins to diagnose what is going on inside you. The only difference is the Bible doesn't have to guess or use trial and error. It gives you the remedy for your condition. I find Derek Prince books very helpful in pointing to that source to meet our needs in life and very much worth the time reading.
This book offers help, encouragement, and resources to those who need help in finding direction in God's word for some of the difficult things we face in life. I think this book is a Faith builder and encouraging and it was well worth reading because it points you to where your strength truly comes from which is God and his word. Proclamations are simply applying the Word of God to your situation and circumstances and this book points you to those scriptures specifically.

This short book offers wonderful insight and encouragement for every believer. It contains solid Biblical support, and Prince offers his advice for applying it to our everyday lives. The first part shares important info - the hows and whys, and the second portion offers examples of Prince's personalized prayers based on scripture for areas such as healing, strength, protection, etc. I am now reading it for a second time - it was that good.

What positive prayers from using different verses of the Bible and even using different Bible translation. He would use them and then to make them personal, he would use it as "I", "my" or other nouns.
