And it continues...The Coulson family saga continues to charm with all members of family having their own story to tell . I just wish they could have shown more of Vera and Harrison.

As I've read the series, it dawned on me that a book with objectionable sex is easier to read than one with objectionable language, because you can more easily skip the pages with the naughty stuff. However, this book had a lot of both, so there was no way to skip over it. I grew up (and now live) in an environment where one does not experience intimacy with the opposite sex until marriage. So let's say that it was rather disturbing to read five books in which EVERYONE seems to consider sex some kind of sporting activity or special treat. They sleep with whomever they get a chance to. I sincerely hope that's not what the rest of the world is like.

I do wish I had read the books in the correct order. I read them in the order that my Kindle listed them but, then, was stuck with this one at the end, which should have been read second.

I find the storyline interesting enough, but this book just seems flat. I think part of it is that, in large part, the book is narrated, or told by some outside observer. Perhaps that dulls the emotional impact of the book, I'm not sure, but it's hard to get caught up in these books.

This book has a lot going on. If you have read Coulson's Lessons you will love this book. It takes you back to the characters childhood and where it all began. There is a lot of conflict in this story and you don't really know where things are going to end up until the very end. I won't give an spoilers but there is one part that made me cry. I really enjoyed it.

This is the second book in the Coulson series. It is mostly about the kids growing up; some are the most wealthy and some are just advantage teenagers. It has some mysteries and some twist and turns that you do not expect. Again the author keeps you on your toes as you read about all the characters and their activities. A good plot and a good book.

This book, as the one before it, was a very interesting read.To me it was much shorter than the first or else it went much quicker. The story in this one is about Mary Ellen's grandsons & daughter in law.The tragic senario keeps coming with the secrets and lies they tell.
