Generally a good read with much wisdom. I felt that some of the descriptions of the Chela's learning were a little unlikely even given the miraculous way spiritual teachers can cause disciples to learn. But let's face it it's what makes you unable to put the book down!
I was also a bit disappointed at the final chapters which suggested that Haley alone solved the confrontation between good and evil.
I'm sure the author is aware of the role played in reality by Dion Fortune and her team in the occult war with the Nazis so the ending smacked a bit like Superwoman which detracted from the true reality of how the balance of Ying/Yang is kept
Still a great read

This book's message I have drawn from in many a trying time. The ultimate gift to anyone, is the mastering of self and the complete surrender of what we think is useful or even what we believe our journey really is. Brilliant and haunting, in the best way.- Thank you Don

Religious story (not LDS literature) told as a romance novel. I loved how it blended many religions yet still had some wonderfully inspiring moments. The theme of giving up all you wanted for yourself in order to serve the Lord was especially touching for me at the time I read this.

I love it, of course. And I love all the wisdom that the author shared in his writings.

This most intriguing book kept my interest throughout. If you love stories about angels and love how they relate to our human endeavors then you will like this very unusual book.
