Tempting Klaus

by Ashlee Rose

Belle knew exactly what she wanted for Christmas. Or rather she knew exactly what she wanted to give away.

Her purity. To the man she loved. Her Husband.

After broken promises, hurt and one too many wines, Belle confesses all. Truths are shed.
Though not to her husband.
But her father-in-law.

Lines begin to fade and blur leaving Belle wondering if her marriage is all she thought it was.

Klaus looks at her like he would have no trouble taking her from under his son's nose. There's only one path to take, even if it's forbidden.

OK WHY WAS THIS THE HOTTEST CHRISTMAS NOVELLA IVE READ YET!!!??? I want Klaus & I want him badddddd.

Our virgin MC just wants to be loved & appreciated but her husband could give two shits about her (ugh my heart). Luckily she has someone who has wanted her for some time & more than willing to give the only item on her Christmas list: to be fucked. Hard.

THE MIRROR. The secret touches. Lord have mercy. This one is short & spïcy, & if you like that forbidden good good, I’d recommend ;)

This was a quick and steamy Christmas novela read. I mean, there isn't a person alive (that I know) that didn't dream about getting down and dirty with a sexy silver fox of a man. I love me some Daddy Klaus 😈😈 And that bastard of a husband can go and roll down a hill straight into hell.

So, if you are in the mood for a sexy silver hotness, smuty Christmas themed Hallmark(esque) movie novella, then this is the book for you.

This is a short and very spicy novella. I’ve read all of the risqué reads and enjoyed them all, they can all be read as a standalone. I think this one is my favourite one.

Belle is constantly ignored by her husband Stan. Belle has finally had enough over Christmas while they are staying with her father in law Klaus. He decides he is going to treat Belle how she deserves and gives her what she wants for Christmas!

As with all the risqué reads there is little storyline mostly of the scale spice!
Add to your December tbr you won’t be disappointed!

Thank you to Ashlee for an eARC I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I’m usually not big on novella cause they are 99% spice/smut and 1% a storyline however this delivered for 50 pages! I was impressed and all I could think was this would be a awesome 300 page book for real!!

I had way too many emotions for this thing and loved it!
😢🥺😢🥵🤬🥵
For me. 😂

Pure smut. That’s all there is with just a little context to make the scenario, (yes, scenario. Cause this book ain’t a story), understandable and justifiable. The book’s neither got a head nor feet. It’s just bits of the body. Literally!

Here is how it goes:

A 27 year old girl gets married. A year later and the husband hasn’t even touched her and every time she tries, he gets mad or refuses leaving the girl embarrassed, humiliated and filled with insecurities. It’s Christmas and they go to the guy’s father’s house, Klaus. Klaus finds out his daughter-in-law is a virgin and fucks her. Takes her virginity while his son is sleeping next to them doing it. The next day, she catches her husband cheating on her with his coworker and leaves. Immediately goes and fucks Klaus, and then her husband walks in on them, is surprised and leaves. The End!

How about some additions to make it more interesting??

Why did the guy marry her if liked someone else and never found his own wife attractive?
Why did he cheat on her if he married out of his free will? An explanation if you will?!!
How about giving us a scene more than him walking in on his wife and father?
How about seeing him devastated over losing something precious?
How about giving scenes where Klaus and her fall in love instead of them saying it was always meant to be us after they are done fucking simply cause Klaus found her hot when she married his son?

See what I mean with no head or feet? No why’s or how’s…

And also how is Klaus fingering her whilst talking to his son all while the three of them are in the kitchen and she gets an orgasm WITHOUT HER HUSBAND NOTICING?!!

Just loveless sex with an excuse as to why it’s okay to fuck her father in law. Which still doesn’t sit well with me cause she didn’t know until the next day about her husband’s affair, whilst she already cheated. So apparently if your husband isn’t giving you time, instead of divorcing him respectfully she decides to cheat on him. That’s desperate to me.....

I know it’s a short book simply for smut lovers so a lot shouldn’t bother me. But I just didn’t like how things went, so this one is not for me.

This is a very hot, spicy, quick read. What you see is what you get. Title is inaccurate as it's more Klaus tempting the FMC rather than vice versa. "Tempted by Klaus" would be a bit more spot-on.

I just really wished the first time was better? Like really, Klaus, her first time and what she's been waiting YEARS for, you do when she's asleep and her husband (your son lmao) is right there in the same bed??? Major ugh. Also, no aftercare???

There were also loose ends. Wish we got a bit of closure on the relationship and situation even if it was a summarised paragraph.

When I say it’s a super fast Christmas smutty read, I really do mean it 😂

When a wife is still a virgin even on her first wedding anniversary, not without her trying though. What is she to do? Simple…f^*k your father-in-law two birds one virginity lost 🤭

*Spoilers*

This was my favorite holiday read from last month so I figured I’d do a quick review.

Bella isn’t being treated right by her husband and she’s at her wits end. With a husband that’s always too busy to spend any time with her she’s becoming increasingly lonely and a year into her marriage she’s still a Virgin. Maybe this holiday Santa can make her Christmas wishes come true? This is a taboo father in law x daughter in law novella. The secret looks, touches, and desires. 😮‍💨 And at only 50 pages it’s a super short read. Seriously go read it even though the holidays are over, I won’t tell anyone 😉.

This book was great and left me thinking where is my Klaus? 🥵 This is available on Amazon KU.

Quotes:
“I felt like one of those pretty, pristine China dolls that sit perfectly on the shelf.
Never allowed to be played with. Never to be touched. To just sit and collect dust.”

“I am addicted to her. I'm not letting her leave with him after Christmas. She can stay here. She is mine.”

[Lindsay]

Idk what Ashlee puts in these novellas but GOOD GOD ITS PERFECTION. Klaus aka her father-in-law is everything 😮‍💨🧎🏻‍♀️

This is the perfect blend of smut and out of pocket story telling and I ATE IT UP.

I love Ashlee’s risqué reads and let’s just say the spice kept on coming 😜

50 pages and it was absolutely delish

I love how quick this read was, but my God I have never had to take so many breaks to catch my own breath while reading….

Klaus & Belle 🎄

Naughty little Christmas novella (only 50 pgs)! Spicy with some plot (innocent MFC, cheating husband, available FIL).

[Laura]

if you want a quick festive forbidden smutty read then this is the book for you
father in law and daughter in law... husband is a complete jackass

[Sasquatch]

Triggers:

Infidelity / cheating

Scenes:

Cuckolding

Oral (him and her)

Dirty talk / “Daddy”

Masturbation

Fingering

Sex right beside her sleeping husband

Sex where her husband walks in

The main character is a married 28 year old virgin who has been married for like a year. Because obviously.

There's a 30 year age gap between her and the father in law. She also acts a lot younger and more naive for a twenty eight year old. Then again, she is still a virgin and seems naive and sheltered.

There are many, many grammatical errors.

“Please tell me you know what an orgasm is.” No, of course not. Why would a grown woman know what an orgasm is? That would be ridiculous.

She's absolutely quiet when she gets boned by her sleeping husband and loses her virginity.

For this being 50 pages long, it really could have been better. It reads like a man who watches too much porn writes. I was hoping for a short smutty read and I got it… but it was bad.

This was WILD. Honestly my favorite novella in the series. Pure smut, and hilarious honestly. Boy oh boy did this deliver on the holiday cheer... although I may also never look at Santa the same way 👀

Merry Smutmas to all with this one! 🎅🏼

YOU BEST BELIEVE I DEVOURED THIS NOVELLA👏🏼

I have been itching to get my hands on this novella since Ashlee announced she will be releasing it and may I add I adored pursuing Harley but this book but this has knock that out of first place as my favourite books in the Risqué Reads Series 😩😩

This is a quick and steamy novella that is definitely worth adding to your TBR for the up and coming Christmas season🎅🏻

This book follows Belle who is being ignored by her new husband. Klaus who is Belles father in law cannot seem to understand why his son is ignoring his new wife but his sons loss is his gain, and he gives Belle all the worshiping she deserves💅

These novellas are titled risqué reads for a reason because there was definitely some steamy risky moments in this book *cough* he took her v-card while she was sleeping next to his son *cough*👀

I also love how Ashlee threw the sneaky Something Worth stealing reference in there✨

This book contains:
- Age Gap
- Father-in-Law/Sons Wife
- Forbiddenish relationship
- Obsessed
- Christmas Novella

I look forward to the future books that are to come in this series. Thank you so much to the author for providing this e-arc for my honest thoughts. 💭

🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

This spicy novella is part of Ashlee’s Risqué Reads collection where you get a whole lot of smut with a side order of storyline!

When Bella is still a virgin after nearly a year of marriage, she’s finally realises she’s ready for the attention and affection she deserves. Insert her father in law. Klaus is more than ready to step in where his son fails, and boy does he step up to the plate. 🥵🥵

Everybody needs a little bit of Klaus this festive season. And these novellas are very quick and easy spicy reads that always hit the spot.
We love them!

Happy Reading
