Guilty pleasure series! Vampires, plot and smut?! Sign me up. I almost wish I would’ve reread the first 3 for a refresher bc it’s been quite awhile waiting for this season to come out! So good though!

this was so disappointing to me. i love the first 3 seasons and have been anxiously waiting for this to drop and i was let down. i felt like Bran still isn’t trusting her, we got nowhere with her development and it was just sad. i don’t know if i’ll continue this journey.

Since here is where season 4 ends and season 5 picks up in Vella - I'll give you the whole rundown.
Definitely some shock value when we start season 4, but as we progress everyone seems to have lost their fkn mind and does the exact opposite of what they are supposed to do and what we are shouting at them.
Did I hate this story? No. For what it was (low-key a soap opera?) I can see how it kept folks coming back week after week waiting to see what happens next. We really get into the answers to some questions... Bromance is a full-on friendship with trust and loyalty. New partnerships are formed and I liked how it was all coming together...
- Season 5 - (appx cost was about $6)
Until we got here.... because now we're getting predictable. You can see the end is near and because there were a lot of questions answered in the seasons leading up to this one, we just kept waiting for answers. What we didn't get were those answers. Since these chapters weren't on KU I had to pay for them. I got 200 tokens for free, then I purchased the $9.99 pack which was MORE than enough to finish out the season.
Each chapter kept us going with a minor cliffhanger which 100% screamed "Tune in next week to see if XYZ drives off the cliff!!!" When you know they are going to fade to black, set up the scene a tad differently and show the Main Character swerve at the last minute... Blaaah
I felt like the author was finished writing these (well the main) characters and was ready to move on. The finish wasn't satisfying to me and left me with more questions than answers. The author made it clear it was ended.There were several - All of the side characters stories were left completely unfinished. Every. Last. One. Frustrating - yes.
I'm not sure how to wrap this up - I don't want to bash this story. It was a fun read - clearly - because I ate it up in less than 48 hours. To be fair though - I was in bed sick with a tiny book hang and this did the job of passing time. It's not awful, just a bit unsatisfying but that doesn't mean the author won't go back and have spin-offs that answer questions about the side characters.
This is a pass the time, nothing better to do, not sure what else to read; type of series (story? Season? whatever) If you have a flight or some kind of travel this oughta do it for you. You'll finish it and would have passed the time. There is Smut, There's Love, there's HEA (I mean I guess it was sorta answered) there's sass, there's smut... so there's that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Take what you will from all of this lol - its Chaotic AF which is pretty much how I felt through this - whatever the fk it was - I'm a glutton for punishment and what's done is done.. but if you have other shit on your TBR (I know you do... cause who doesn't) go and grab one of those first, and maybe wait for season 5 to hit KU before diving into this...

Thank God it's over 😮💨 Нула намерение да чета/слушам следващите епизоди на това чудо. Ако изобщо излязат такива 🤷🏻♀️ Толкова много повтарящи се елементи. Толкова скучна и предвидима история... Нито един от двамата главни героя не е интересен. Или има някаква дълбочина. Но не мога да очаквам нищо различно от история, писана от цял стадион читатели в комбинация с автора 😑

I started to read this 4th installment, but almost instantly realized I had little to no recollection of what happened in the first 3 releases. I think I'll put this series aside until its one day fully available off of Kindle Vella!

I really feel like this needed more development on Jessie’s part. She is still in the same position as she was at the beginning. Everyone else knows more or can best her. I want her to best someone for once.

Now that Jessie knows what she really is it seems like it put some distance between her and Bran. Will all this news freak Bran out and make him run for the hills?

Hot Vampire Next Door has some really HOT dirty talk and the spice is always top notch but I found that this book was lacking in spice.

There is nothing that I love more than some smutty vampire dark romance reading. These books are good. They are interesting, great story line, good characters…. But for this being a book with a major part of the plot involving vampires….. the vampire bit isn’t played into as much as I would like. Part of the love of vampire book is, for me, the biting, the blood, and the charm. There is some biting and stuff, but not enough for me personally. All of them are for sure worth the time to read. They are pretty short too. I read 1 book per day. Some parts got laggy and hard to read, but over all it’s really entertaining and the spice is really good.

As for me, I couldn't resist being pulled into the world of control and submission, where being called a "good girl" was both a reward and a punishment. The intimate moments between characters left me breathless, each one hotter than the last. If you're looking for a book that delivers on passionate encounters and tantalising punishments, then look no further. This one has it all.

Ends on a cliff hanger! Haaaaaa!! This is a very additive series. Juicy jaunty and spicy. I figured it would be some light popcorn which at this point in the year is much needed. But ended up really getting attached to the characters and enjoying the unpredictable places the story keeps going to. When is the next book coming out?! I see the episodes on Vella which is so clever of the author to release in installments especially when it’s this captivating, but I can’t buy them as I’m not in the US. 😑 so I’m left wondering what happens next! The hook is in deep.

I devoured this so quickly, as one does with her books, and dear LORD I missed Bran. I think Bran is easily becoming one of my favorite MMC from Nikki and I need seasons 5-2423423 (I'm making this up, y'all) because I love his attitude, his sass, his dominance and confidence and his passion. Oof.
I was hoping for more meat in this one and waiting for the shoe to drop but I'm hopeful that the next season/installment will deliver - making season 4 a perfect build up to season 5.

If you haven't started St. Crowe's kindle vella series, get on it because these books are GOOD.
Quick, fast paced, easy reads with a little bit of spice and humor throughout. Really if you're a fan of The Never King then you should definitely pick this series up too. Jessie is discovering everything new about her past, her true self as a faeling after dedicating her life to the Duval house. Bran is struggling with the power dynamic and attempting to save his brother from the witches curse along the way.
I enjoyed season four of this series and yet again fell for the cliffhanger ending. The character development is starting to grow more and I think my favorites would definitely be Sam and Cal's story, if it ever starts. I do think these books are too short but definitely keep me hooked and coming back for more. There are a lot of different aspects at play and I need to see what comes next.

Well this was excellent as per usual but I hate cliffhangers and I don't have another installment of this series to read and no idea when the one will be released. Good thing I am used to it, as my bestie is a writer and routinely leaves stories open (Sorry I couldn't help myself)

I really wish this series was one giant book or something. There’s always a crazy twist in the end and I need to know what happens next!

This series really kept my attention.
Bran is everything you want and more in a MMC, especially being a Vampire.
Jessie is full of confusion and mystery and I was eating it up.
Now that I am done… I need more. Hopefully not too soon from now 🤞🏼

Vampires, shifters, witches, and fae?! This is unlike any sexy fantasy series I’ve ever read! Oh and the humans too of course (or “blood bags” as they are so often referred to 😂).
