Apparently Oogami’s not the only one who has a rival in love--new hire Kamiya has a crush on the resident wolfman! Not only does Mitsuji now face competition, but Mikado has no desire to break off his own pursuit. As Oogami and Mitsuji try to clear the air between them, other people continue to try to get in the way of their relationship. Will their feelings ever be able to cross the gap between their species?

EEEeeeeee!!! Oh my gosh!!!! The squealing and screaming I did while reading this volume!!!!! So good yet so frustrating!! I need volume 5 YESTERDAY!!! I highly recommend this series if you enjoy office romance comedies!!

3.5/ 4 stars. I am not a fan of jealous girls who will sabotage group work at a business in order to try and stop a relationship. Beyond being devious, it's selfish and dismissive of other's work. It's not petty, it's stupid. I don't mind a pining girl who makes a mistake from impulsive want, but this storyline makes me think that perhaps others didn't just not like her because she was mixed but because they could sense in their gut she's messed up and didn't want to bring that juju near them. It weakened her character and is a weak plot line if her character is supposed to remain sympathetic. Weak writing. Otherwise, I enjoyed the rest of the manga volume. I especially liked the bonus chapters with my favorite, Momo-chan.

Wow. My favor towards some of these characters drops with every volume. I'm kinda sympathetic towards Kamiya because its the same for me as a mixed person. I'm always either too latino looking to be white but act too white to be latino. So I see why she got so attached to the first person who didn't get bothered by her mixed status. HOWEVER. My sympathies end when you delete a whole project just to spend more time with your crush. Purely since she knew Oogami had plans to see Mitsuji later. Straight to jail. If I found out a coworker did this, I wouldn't want to work with them anymore much less start dating them. Just because Oogami was nice to her doesn't mean he wants to date her. Even if he did, ruining a project he's working on with her isn't the way to win him over.

And Mikada is irking my soul. The phrase about sheep keeps coming up. How sheep have to stick together since they're the same, they know each other best, how could they date anything but another sheep? He himself admits he kept bringing it up because he felt it would make Mitsuji more open to picking him. Cuz they're just so compatible~ 🙄 Its annoying. I see this sometimes in different communities that get stuck in the mentality they can't date outside the group. Obviously if one group has very strong cultural habits that don't mesh well with outsiders then I can see that. But it doesn't apply here. Carnivores don't even seem to be like out of control vampires like the story keeps insisting they are. No one ever is in danger by hanging out with other species. If Mitsuji does pick Oogami, she won't get skinned or killed. Mikada and Kamiya are so presumptuous and its getting on my nerves. At least Mitsuji finally told Mikada that she loves someone else. At this point the two of them exist purely to cause drama.

The love I feel in my heart and soul for this series cannot truly be put into words. I love Oogami and Mitsuji 🥺💖

I want this series to be eternal 😭 I just love the dynamic between Oogami and Mitsuji so much! Their whole “will they won’t they” when there’s so much clear chemistry between the two melts my heart every time 💖

I do have to say that Kamiya and Mikado are so annoying tho 🙄 Tbh, the unnecessary “love interests” are the only thing about romance manga that I can just barely tolerate. Other things annoy me to the point of not being able to read or watch some romance stories, but this series at least has one of my pet peeves that I can swallow. And tbh, I wouldn’t find Kamiya and Mikado so annoying if they weren’t so stubbornly obsessed with getting their way despite how obvious it is that who they’re interested in isn’t interested in them back!

Anyway. I sure hope we end up getting more content about this side couple we’ve been getting hints and pieces of 👀 I think they’re also cute, and I’d be all over a spinoff series all about them

Oogami is trying to figure out and apologize for what he did to Mitsuji when he was sick and it leads to a date/not date. It’s so cute that he finds a sorta way to hang out with her but also make it about work. She finds him appealing in his normal clothes as do other girls and she’s beginning to want him just for herself but Kamiya decides to interrupt their outing and be a third wheel. Kamiya likes him as well and she’s determined to not lose to Mitsuji although she doesn’t realize she’s lost way before she even met Oogami. I like how Mitsuji sorta wants to be the nice sheep everyone thinks she is but when Mikado asks her to choose him she admits to him and herself that she’s fallen for Oogami and rushes to meet him! 😍But will he be at their meeting point when Kamiya seems to have sabotaged some of her work so that he can stay and help? Looking forward to the next volume!

A near confession

This series is really good though with this love square I am being torn apart by this back and forth attempts at romance and/or fulfillment of more beastial lust while also maintain some sort of friend zone that is business safe. Honestly I have dated a co-worker before and it was okay until things went south. I wouldn't suggest it but somehow seeing these partially animalistic people skirting the line of appropriateness while they internalize their feelings struggling between what they desire and what is right for others is really driving me on in the series.

Honestly I can't say much for there is a subtlety in how each character develops in their own ways and I don't want to spoil something or alter your interpretation of events. All I can say is this is probably one of my favorite series and I am always looking forward to the next volume. :)

I’m not a fan of either Mikado or the new female coworker: Kamiya, due to both trying to sabotaged their way into their respective crushes’ hearts. Although I do like that thanks to Kamiya, there was some world building in the sense of how mixed species character can look and are treated by others. I also really liked that this volume showed a bit more of the other workers in the company, and I especially liked the bonus chapters where it was the cafeteria worker’s view of several characters.
Overall, I’m more curious than excited to see how this series ends since I’m unsure of how exactly Oogami and Mitsuji would get together.

Mashiro discovers that she may have competition for Oogami,as another colleague of hers asks her to back off from him and to nit stand in her way.

Mikado makes his feelings known to Mashiro,but she tells him her heart lies with Oogami and goes to find him.

Bit of a cliffhanger ending,as Oogami and Kamiya are stuck in the office clearing up a mess that Kamiya created to sabotage Oogami and Mashiro's meeting.

I enjoy this series but 4 volumes in and the miscommunication trope is getting super annoying. Kamiya is also real annoying & despite her sad backstory she's a pretty shitty person. I really hope vol 5 is better.

There are so many twist such as Wolf truly confess when not sick. Will sheep make a choice between wolf or sheep. Will the Mixed breed get the wolf. When will the bunny date the lion. Come back soon to see what happens

This might be my last reason. I love and hate the artist for dragging this out. Nonetheless this volume was soo cute and had me holding my breath waiting for resolution. That mitsuji finally kinda got ready to go made me hype. Can’t wait for the next volume.

The next volume is the last volume?!? Do I assume that this is getting wrapped up quickly due to low sales? I don't know, but this series started off so strong! I feel like vol 3 & 4 were kinda pointless fillers in a way. Still adore this series but excuse me while I scream.

Love the romance drama in this (which is not normal for me). The two side characters and their attempts to woo the main two was really cute. Can’t wait to see the next things that are coming up in vol. 5. Will “Ross” & “Rachel” finally get together!

Kamiya pissing me off I swear.

Recap: misunderstandings, spa trip with the company, ping pong challenge, they try to talk and go on a sorta date tot talk, kamiya sees them and third wheels, then confesses her feelings and asks mitsuji to back off, first year competition, oogami is going to meet mitsuji before kamiya sabotages her project.

There is real progress for everyone in here. Which is nice that it isn't just Oogami and Mitsuji that's finally clicking (mostly), but even those that would like to stand in their way finally having a but if personal growth as well. It's such a cute story and seeing more of how carnivores and herbivores view each other and the intermingling that's happening.
