A story about polyamory by the creator of the famous married life manga Futari H (Manga Sutra) !
Katsuaki Nakamura (中村克明), pen name Katsu Aki (克・亜樹), is a Japanese manga artist best known for his works The Vision of Escaflowne, Futari Ecchi, and Psychic Academy. Mangaka Mine Yoshizaki is one of Aki's former assistants.
LORD, Emito is just so so frustrating, dumb, annoying. GAH. I would love a proper poly, but this just pisses me off and I am just hoping that Suisei and Lia end up together instead of whatever this is. BAH. And then that mom. LORD. Or Otoya. Or that girl whose name I keep forgetting as I don't want her in the story. *throws things* I will keep on reading though as this series is only 3 volumes and that means one more left. Though I did gain a bit of empathy for him with that shocking reveal at chapter 15. WTF.
So, I'm sad to say that I think I'm done with the series. The direction this series is headed is clearly not truly representative of a thruple who has been through a commitment ceremony. I didn't love the way this volume ended. It doesn't make me want more. It makes me want to be done sadly.
UGH! This cover. There is no need to be so obvious. So weird.
Well, Emito, Suisei and Lia are now living together and the drama of newlyweds is hitting them all in different ways. Emito just got a job and he doesn't want to have to do all the housework by himself, which seems fair. Lia is having a very tough time at work with co-workers. She should have kept her life to herself. That was never going to go over well.
Emito's mom shows up and wow, what a monster. It's a nightmare for that kid and sadly, he should never speak to her again. His mates rescue him, thankfully.
Emito wonders what he means to the other two and Suisei has a heart-to-heart with Emito. It's awkward and cute at the same time. They needed to talk more, but it was a start.
