Obviously not the ending of the series but if the comrades weren’t going to get a happily ever after, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

a story switch unexpected
The story flows from the last book. The journey taken was unexpected. The ending was not what I expected. I would love to see a world map.

Probably the most depressing volume in this series. But also one of the more interestingly written. Was surprised where it went but am actually excited again for more in the future
