---

A decade apart, one summer to fix the past. Can they find their way back to each other?

The last person Ellie ever expects to see back in Seclusion Bay is Sam. Widowed and clouded by grief, the moment he walks into her café, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with anyone...especially her.

So, when she sees him tie a letter to a tree at the end of the bay, Ellie is intrigued.

Desperate to help him navigate his grief, she puts pen to paper, and an exchange of anonymous letters begins. As they start to reconnect on and off the page, Ellie dares to hope that they both might get a second chance at happiness.

The only problem is, Sam still has no idea that the heartfelt letters are coming from her.

And as things between them start to heat up, and the line between friendship and love starts to blur, Ellie must find the courage to tell Sam the truth or risk losing him forever.

I love Tammy Robinson's books and this one is no exception. A fun, feel good novel that will warm your heart.

Ellie and Sam were the best of friends until Elli took her then boyfriend's side over Sam, and Sam left town. Years later Sam comes back to sell his Grandfather's house, now widowed and sad. He writes his feelings in a letter and ties it to a tree. Ellie replies, trying to help him. Their relationship progresses in real life, and her anonymous letters help him too.

A lovely romcom with well crafted characters. Will make your heart swell and make you smile.

love all of Tammy Robinson's books and this was no exception. Ellie and Sam needed a good kick up the backside! Will they, won't they, did they didn't they?! However if they had, then the story would've been over very quickly, so pleased they didn't. I stayed up till 2.45 am to finish it. Fabulous story

Ahhhh this book was beautiful, and I absolutely loved it.

Ellie and Sam were best friends as teenagers, they were inseparable and she was the ying to his Yang. Sadly Ellie’s boyfriend was bitterly jealous of their friendship and went out his way to destroy it, and destroy it he did.

Fast forward a decade and they are both back in that same small town, both single but also both filled with anger about what went down years before.

I adored both of the main characters a lot and was desperate for them to sort their sh!t out and get together. I am not a lover of Slowburn which this definitely was, however it was done perfectly, we needed the Slowburn to get to know these characters and their background.

I adored all of the side characters, her gran was a total hoot and Chloe is the kind of friend everyone needs in their lives. The banter between them was brilliant and had me chuckling throughout.

Loved the storyline, it had heartbreak and grief in there but so much love throughout.

A very easy quick enjoyable read.

If you are looking for a read to get lost in then I absolutely recommend you pick this one up, it has all the feels.

Sadly not one of my favourite reads. I quite enjoyed the first third of the book but the more I read the more tedious I found it.

It felt like there was no actual plot to this book. I know it’s a romance book but that doesn’t mean there can’t be another storyline running alongside.

Another issue I had was the characters. They never really seemed to be consistent and I sadly just didn’t find them likeable. I felt like they were flip flopping from liking each other to being upset with each other for no good reason. Also, Ellie didn’t like Logan because he was too possessive, yet that’s exactly how Sam was as well. How does that make any sense??

Overall, not a book I would probably recommend. This is the first book I’ve read by this author so I would be interested to read another of their books to see whether it’s just this particular one I didn’t like or if I just don’t get along with their writing.

The last person Ellie expects to see back in Seclusion Bay is her ex best friend Sam. Once thick as thieves, they went their separate ways at 18 when Ellie took her boyfriend’s side over Sam’s and he left town. Now he’s back to sell his grandfathers house but he’s also been through a lot - he’s widowed and just wants to keep his head down and get out as fast as he can. When Ellie sees him attach a note to a tree she’s intrigued and reads it, and replies to him. So begins a back and forth but Sam doesn’t know he’s writing to Ellie. When Ellie’s best friend’s wedding venue gets cancelled Sam offers his house, and he’s soon reconnecting with Ellie as they prep it for the Occassion. But can they let go of past hurts and find their way back to what they used to have? Or potentially something more?
I absolutely loved this!!! I ripped through it in one sitting - it made me laugh out loud, but it was also so emotional. I genuinely wanted to SHAKE SOME SENSE into Sam at times, but I could understand his coldness after losing his wife unexpectedly. The letters were so sweet to read, and had some beautiful thoughts about grief. Definitely recommend this if you like emotional romances ❤️

I absolutely devoured this book. Being a lover of sweet romance fiction, particularly where it leans towards the enemies to lovers trope - I thoroughly enjoyed this! I felt a real connection to the 2 characters, Ellie and Sam, and I liked that it was a dual perspective book where we get to hear the thoughts of both of them.

There were points where I felt the emotion so strongly through the pages of the book that I was close to crying myself, so I thoroughly appreciate how well this was written.

I would thoroughly recommend this book for being an easy, enjoyable read but for also pulling you into the story and the character's lives and backgrounds.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with a copy of the book to read in return for an honest review.

I don't read a lot of NZ Fiction. It's dreadful but I think it's a hangover from having to read things like The God Boy at school. I also find a lot of our fiction is depressing and dark, and that's not the sort of thing I enjoy. While I acknowledge we have some wonderful writers, they just don't do it for me. I picked this up at the library and didn't realise it was an NZ fiction - but it was a pleasant surprise. Perhaps as the decades have passed since I was at school reading the required curriculum, some of our authors have lightened up and can just write a good story. And this is what Everything I Have was - a good story. One to enjoy when you're on holiday and one that doesn't make your head hurt with deep, dark and meaningful! I'll be checking out her other works.

Great story.

Some neat expressions, such as "Chloe is a storm trapped in a dove's body"

Too few commas and "whom", but very few other quibbles:
p 5 "want" should be "what"
p 12 "disinterestedly" should be "uninterestedly" or a synonym; page 76 similar
p 59 "Growing" is a misrelated participle
p 131 bad word order using "either" - and I have nearly given up criticising the use of "like" in place of "as" or "as if"; I suspect that a pop song "Like I Do" popularised it several decades ago
p 162 water particles in a wave DO NOT mostly move perpendicularly; see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...
p 351 "them let them" - delete first word or change it to "then"

Tammy Robinson is one of my favourite authors so it was lovely to have a new book of hers to read after a couple of years waiting.

Tammy is a natural storyteller who sets the scene and draws the characters so well you become engrossed in the story and feel like the characters are your friends. Told in dual points of view, Ellie and Sam, this is a heart warming story of grief, family, friendships, forgiveness, love and second chances.

Everything I Have will appeal to readers who enjoy sweet romance books.

Tammy Robinson has done it again, delivering another excellent book which I can thoroughly recommend. Everything I Have is a well written, captivating and heartfelt novel and it's hard to put into words how much I loved this book, what a gifted storyteller she is. It's beautifully written with characters that are so real, in particular, Ellie and Sam. I couldn't put this book down but I didn't want it to end. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, that's how much I adore this story.

I loved Tammy's new book. Easy to read and didn't want to put down. Finding grammatical errors disappoints. Loved it's NZ touch!

This sweet romance lacked some substance, but the predictable, yet enjoyable storyline was exactly what I needed after some intense memoirs.
