Bonne référence pour apprendre le français

If you're looking to up your French learning, this book is a great find. The spaced repetition method using (virtual) flashcards is another way to tackle learning the language, making sure you remember what you learn without getting bogged down by stuff you already know. I downloaded the AnkiDroid app on my phone which the book promotes, created an account, downloaded the software, and the learning deck package included. Basically, there are several steps you need to do to have the flashcards available on your phone. Once you have them, the 700+ flashcards are super handy to use in conjunction with the book and the audio pronunciations are a nice touch, helping you get your French accent just right. I appreciated the clear explanations and practical examples. It's really well-organized, so you can build your vocabulary and grammar step-by-step if you're a complete beginner. If you're into learning languages efficiently and enjoy a bit of tech, this is definitely worth checking out.

I learned French in my school days and don't recall much, so I thought this book would help jog my memory. I was not disappointed. In fact, the author starts with the concept of spaced repetition, which enables a person to remember before they forget. Chapter 2 discusses the use of flashcards through the Anki software, providing a detailed explanation of how to download and utilise the software. The book is divided into 6 levels, starting with the basic and progressing all the way up to fluency. Each level explains in detail every aspect of the language, bringing out its essence clearly. The similarities between English and French were quite interesting. The author has painstakingly gone into great depth to explain all the nuances of the language. One does not need to have any knowledge of French to learn it. The book facilitates the learning process in a very easy and simple way. The book is definitely useful for learning the French language.
