I was interested to read Brooke McGlothlin’s e-book How to Control Your Emotions So They Don’t Control You. It’s short (just under 50 pages) but full of helpful information and Bible study. I’d say it’s sort of a cross between a Bible study and a non-fiction book, which turns out to be a good mix for this topic.
McGlothlin uses the framework of the Psalms to break down a useful pattern for how to handle frustration and the temptation to lose it: Feel, Know, Do.
I found this short book online and read the pdf version of it. I like how the author has added a few methods of self control and related them to Christianity. However, it has more biblical references than everyday life. It would have been nicer if she elaborated on what people go through and the techniques we can use to overcome them.
