Richard pulled Rachel into his arms. She was stiff and unyielding. Her back was straight and rigid. "Relax. I'm not going to bite, unless you want me to. That kiss we shared a few weeks ago told me all I needed to know." “It was just a kiss and there was nothing special about it." Richard sighed. "We were all over each other and you practically had your tongue down my throat. And a very sweet tongue it was."She ignored his last statement. "There are a lot of women out there who would fall all over themselves to have all this attention lavished on them. Why am I your flavor of the month?" "I thought I made myself clear. I don't want another woman. I want you.” He pulled the lower part of her body close to his. Richard heard her sharp intake of breath. “This is what you do to me whenever I'm near you. You're the only one who can satisfy this ache.”She could feel the truth of what he just said. But that was his problem. "I am not going to sleep with you just because you can't control your response to the female body.""Not just any body, your body.""Whatever. I'm not going to get involved with you. Why did she care so much about who he dated? It was none of her business if he slept with half the female population of Houston. Richard wanted Rachel and didn't stop until he got her. At first Rachel was against dating him because she thought he would hurt her. But he ended up being the live of her life. Great love story.

PP book one A good read

Rachel was a financial advisor from a wealthy family. Richard was a wealthy and successful attorney who practice's law with his two brothers. Richard saw Rachel and it was love at first sight. But Rachel was not having it. You see, Richard had a reputation as a Playboy personified. However, their hearts had another plan. The reaction to one another was like an explosion in a chemistry class. When Rachel accepted the inevitable outcome, love blossomed. The normal ups and downs and the ex's drama tried to mess up their groove but in the end. HEA prevailed.

This book was good could've been better I think it was too drawn out . I can't wait to read book two.
