Is this where the series really takes a dive?
I was thinking the writing was getting better, but then we have this train wreck journey of forgetting how hyphen vs dash works. It was really, really distracting to have absolutely no hyphens and all dashes throughout the story. Many times I had to stop and consider which it was supposed to be, as the writing wasn't all that clear at times.
There was a real childishness to this volume that irritated me. An introduction of this mean GA who absolutey hates Kara, no reason why, and is supposedly going to work with her, yet you only see her three times in the novel and they never actually work together. It didn't really fit, so why was she introduced? To show how immature the main characters are becoming? To downgrade your opinion of everyone? I still can't figure out what the point of Ashley's character was.
I'm also unsure how Lilith could make such a transformation in a matter of seconds. There was no character building. No conflict to make her change. Just a sudden, poof! I'm good now! It's too weird. No. Not weird. Lazy. It just feels plain lazy.
I wonder if the series should have ended with book 5, because now I'm not sure I want to continue. It really bothers me that guardian angels are selfish, immature jerks who can't seem to take the high road and get over themselves.
And the ending...deja vu, anyone?

I'm so disappointed in this book. Especially after loving the first 5 books. As soon as my ship gets together this book starts to suck ass. UGH WHY?!?
Mortal had so many flaws. Grammatical errors. Sucking so much once the two people I've wanted to get together. If that's the case then keep them apart and make it more interesting. Plus the whole taking away Kara's powers too?!! Which I will admit seemed interesting, but after reading this book.. utter disappointment. I almost didn't want to continue after this book.. but there's like 2 more left in this series and if it sucks ass.. then it sucks ass.
Overall, I don't really know what else to talk about. Yes, Kara and David finally got together. However, this book was just a shit show after that point. I just couldn't get behind this book. I mean I liked it enough to give it 3 stars.. but I still feel like that's too generous of me - ya know? I had such high expectations for this book and they just fell flat. I'm sad and disappointed.

Okay, I'm getting tired of the redundancy. I feel like each book is missing something, like the author only put partial effort into the writing.
Unfortunately I think this is the worst series I have read, ever. Yet I keep reading it in hopes that it will miraculously get better.
Not only do these books have a lot of grammatical errors, the plot is all over the place. It's not a smooth transition from one book to the next. It's very choppy with each book containing a new evil.
I also have a huge problem with the character David. He is so annoying! Too sarcastic and so rude! I would smack him if I were Kara. Seriously someone needs to.
I think the best part of every book is when Kara is by herself. Her "team" isn't very strong, and she ends up saving all of them in the end. I actually think it's quite laughable.
So, I feel forced to read the 7th book so that I can say this series is finally over. Please let that be the last one.

this felt like the end and if it was to end here I would be okay with that. sad to see Kara's powers go but happy to see her and David as a couple. I wonder what will happen now that she doesn't have her powers?

In this mission, Kara had to battle the Dark warlock as a mortal, without her M-suit to protect her fragile human body, which made the task nearly impossible.
Finding the white witch and convinced her was another challenge, and then Kara had to tap into her elemental power as a mortal which she never did before. Time was running out and the fate of human beings depending on her. Thankfully, her team always being there to support her even if it would cost their life.
One thing bothering me was the fact that Kara has to work her ass off to be mortal again, but David and Kara's mum kept on appearing in the human world as a mortal which I find quite odd and unfair.
I also have just realised how funny David was in the story. Usually, I didn't put much thought about him. But his wicked humour entertained me in this book. Lilith's appearance was a surprise; I never expected to see her again in the story. Now that she's back, probably we'll see her again as a GA? Let the half-sisters fight alongside with Kara's mum. That would be nice.

I’m starting to notice that with each book there’s a pattern. Now I’m to the point where I’m starting book 7 and just know Kara will be back and be with David and then for some reason the Mortal world will be threatened or Horizon etc. it’s literally the same thing in every single book with a couple new characters here and there. I’m just ready to finish this series so I can move on to something else!

After reading all of the books thus far I have to say I am getting bored. The stories are repetitive. Kara fumbles away and keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. She does not learn or develop. And she is always saved by some miraculous manifistation of her powers at the very last minute. It's just not interesting anymore. I'm still reading the rest of the books cause I bought them, but I have lost intrest now.

Una historia entretenida e interesante en esta magnífica y espectacular saga de fantasía. Me gustó pero creo que fue algo más lenta que la anterior y el libro 3 por eso no le daré las 5 estrellas pero no quiere decir que sea mala. Simplemente es más lenta de lo que me gustaría. Ya quiero ver que sucede en el próximo libro el cual comenzaré a leer a la brevedad. Como he dicho los personajes son bien llevados a cabo y los sucesos que viven van a la mano. Le doy 4/5 estrellas o un 9/10.

It's a fast paced read but Kara faces failure after failure after failure which is exhausting. Sometimes I was frustrated with Kara in some of her decisions. Some characters just disappear until the end when I thought their would be more rivaling. Overall, I liked how it ended and I'm curious about the second chance character.

This book really allowed me to explore my childhood fantasies. It was adventurous, creative and tugged at my heart. I very much enjoyed this book but feel it's something I'd likely grow out of as I got older. Nevertheless, I was happy to read every one in the series.

Será que nuestra intrépida kara por fin podrá ser mortal del.todo y que sin sus poderes elemtal ya no se sentirá como un bicho raro. Sólo el tiempo lo dirá. Habrá que seguir con las demás historia para saber si por fin kara y David tendrán su historia completa.

I enjoyed this book . I'll give 4 🌟 stars .I think this is better than the previous five books. But I'm having a doubt, even after six books still Kara s not having any control of her powers.
And seriously lacking confidence too.why s that? The script of this book is better.ill recommend this book alone from this series.
David is only talk . From the description of him in the first book,I thought he'll be a great hero.such a shame you made him a sidekick comedian.

Alles in allem einfach klasse und packend.
Das was der 5.Band mir nicht ganz so geben konnte, wie ich gehofft hatte, hat der 6.Band dann wieder gut gemacht.
Die Abenteuer von David und Kara, sowie Jenny und noch einigen neuen Charakteren, sind klasse gewesen. Von der ersten bis zur letzten Seiten haben sie mich einfach gefesselt.
Kara musste sich einigen Herausforderungen stellen...
Ich hatte einfach so einen Spaß als ich diesen Band gelesen habe und wollte ihn gar nicht aus der Hand legen.
Kara und David sind schon Schritte weiter in ihrer Beziehung, das finde ich klasse.
Einfach ein Riesen Lese-Spaß das ich jedem empfehlen kann.

The good first: I got through this book really quickly. However, l'm afraid this book just felt redundant. New plot, not much continuity and nothing really changes by the end. I don't think this was a very good installment.
On the technical side of things, there are really long dashes in the text, where there should be hyphens and the dashes are used peculiarly when they are actually supposed to link two sentences. I also think there was a lot of telling and not enough showing. The emotions just didn't feel all that real to me. I don't think I'm going to finish this series.

loved how this book came full circle by the ending, actually found myself smiling at some parts in the book. i think that this was a good story line and the characters were carefully thought about. hoping that Kim Richardson will write another book for as i don't believe that this is the ending of the soul guardian series. good books would recommend to anyone :)

How did Lilith all of a sudden appear in the book when in the previous book she was turned into a mortal??? The guardian angels should really stop being childish, I mean you're angels for crying out loud!!! Overall it's an okay book

There's always so much to say but I don't want to spoil anything! Wow! Another awesome book in this series. I reallllly can't wait to see if Kara and david FINALLY get teir happy ending!!!!!
