After the dredge of the previous arc, this gets back to what makes the series good. We get a heavy focus on our two MCs. The Ruka plotline is beyond ridiculous at this point but fortunately it doesn't take many pages. The chapter with all the texting was really nice and was the highlight of this volume.

Volume 28 presumably contains Chapters 239 to 247. The manga has been dragged on for so long, and I am tired of the author baiting us every time. Time to switch on some other rom-com manga series. Three stars for this volume because only the last 3 chapters are worth it.

Minus one star for the excess whining of this volume, so much so I wanted to reach into the manga and smack him across the head. I don’t mind how this is a really slow burn, but if she ever got inside his head she’d have baled a long time ago.
