Chapter 18 has repeated dialogue, worse typo so far. Last couple of books had incorrect pronouns in some areas but this one takes the cake. Wish they would focus more on Fiona's personal case, only reason I kept reading. idk if I will after the lack of editing.
If you take a shot everytime this book describes shadows or shivers up and down the spine of a person, you'll be an alcoholic by the end of the book. The story was okay but the book has repeating phrases which get annoying really quick. The only really interesting parts were with Daniel. People from Reddit have said this book is either written by AI or ghost writers and it shows. Something is off about the way this book is written it feels...different. but it was an okay read.
As always, I do enjoy the Fiona Red series. What I enjoyed about this book is the underlying current of her relationship with Jake and how past relationships could possibly derail current ones. But being committed to each other enables them to accomplish anything as a team.
….. I’ll just say I’m glad I’m done with this 12 book series. Very repetitive. Main character has no business being FBI. But then again it’s just a book and without her terrible judgement in danger etc there wouldn’t need to be a book. But seriously, 12 books and 12 times they put themselves in danger “splitting up” 🙄
