THOMAS FINCHAM holds a graduate degree in Economics. His travels throughout the world have given him an appreciation for other cultures and beliefs. He has lived in Africa, Asia, and North America. An avid reader of mysteries and thrillers, he decided to give writing a try. Several novels later, he can honestly say he has found his calling. He is married with two kids, and he lives in a hundred-year-old house. He is the author of LEE CALLAWAY series, the HYDER ALI series, the MARTIN RHODES series, and the ECHO ROSE series.
On her way home home from her last case, FBI agent Jo Pullinger rescues a young girl from a kidnapper. She’s tries to catch the kidnapper but is unsuccessful. Turns out the girl is also on her way to Seattle and they agree to check with each in a few days. When Jo goes to the girls house to check she finds the door open and nobody home. From there the story really becomes interesting as her and partner soho find there is more going on than she originally thought. The twists and turns will keep you on the edge on your seat wanting more, more, more ! An amazing cast of characters, non stop action and a storyline that will grab you from the from the very first sentence. Well worth the read.
Somewhat of a silly but also interesting storyline. A kidnapping is not what it seems and the characters are all over the place with their intentions. McKinley gets more field time and has a crush. Ford is back helping out Jo and ends up hurt. Jo meets a new potential romantic partner and helps unravel this case while also assisting in the dissolution of a criminal enterprise. There are different bad guys and one is just a little too precious and weird, but also smart in his own way. The ending was unexpected and has me excited to see what is next for this team.
Thomas Fincham writes like the story was ripped from the headlines. All the procedures and law enforcement guidelines get thrown out the window as agent Pullingger and her team hunt for a mob boss's assassin. The series is a deep dive into the twisted minds of criminals and those tasked with bringing them in to stop more bloodshed.
No spoilers here. A great stand alone novel but the series is well worth reading from book one. Happy reading.
Jo was given no choice in taking time off But in the way home she chances upon an attempt at kidnapping . Never one to ignore those in dire need of help she saves the young girl from abduction. Then things go from bad to worse as the gruesome attempts at murder begin. As usual Jo, Ford and McKinley have a job to do. This is a “No putting down until the end” book. 📖
Jo finds herself immersed in another battle with a bunch of bad guys determined to send her to her grave, but knowing het and her band of outlaw catchers ruins the reunion. PI Bryan and Agent McKinley band together as backup for Jo and add their savoir faire in addition to a few Seattle PD officers. A fast moving tale filled with opportunities to again do good. Thanks TF
This book was so good. I couldn't put it down. I love all the characters. Jo.always ends up with.the best cases..It was fast.paced but I never knew where it wss going. Ford is a food combination consultant to the FBI. I recommend everyone who likes the.mystery to read this book. Thanks again for the great read.
I felt impending doom throughout the story. Fincham superbly pulls together a mob boss, a psychopathic underling, vulnerable targets, including Jo, along with law enforcement heroes into a plot that keeps the reader turning page after page until the end. It's 1 AM. You'll be up late, too. Get the book and try to prove me wrong.
When an FBI agent is finally driving home she noticing something unusual happening at the side of the road. Unfortunately decides to investigate but later she find out things are not what she originally thought. This is a brilliant crime novel and worth a read.
Can't stop reading the Jo Pullinger series! Mr. Fincham pulls you in with great character development and the action grows throughout his books. I'm ready for the next one!
I have grown really fond of agent Pullinger. This was another keep you on the edge of your seat what's going to happen next books! I hope there are more to follow!
Jo tries to save a young woman from being kidnapped on her way home from Lapse. Little did she know the can of worms she opened. This book was more predictable than the others, but in a good way.
Great story with the same great characters. Fast-paced, intriguing roller-coaster ride. I love it when a series keeps you so enthralled for the next book.
A Killer’s Moon is filled with great action, many close calls, and an especially nasty killer. Russian mob comes into play along with the corruption that accompanies big business everywhere. It is a great, quick, read.
A young heiress was kidnapped and Jo, McKinley and Ford were trying to rescue her. A professional killer was trying to find the heiress as well. Lots of chases, gun fights and subterfuge kept this one moving!
This series is very interesting and the characters an integral part of the plot lines. Their relationships enrich the plot and keep the pages flowing by at a rapid pace. These make for good escape reading, you get engrossed in the story and everything around you just vanishes.
Very disappointed in this book. Made Jo and FBI seem not too bright. The other books in this series were very good. Glad this was not book 1 in series or I would not of read any more
Great book, love the stories with Jo Pullinger in them. You don't want to stop reading them. Only problem with that is you get to the last book quicker. Can't slow down, on to the next one.
As a huge fan of Thomas Fincham's books I was happy to find a new series to follow. Even though I awarded a 4*** rating it will need a little work to get to the same level as the previous series. Maybe it's like meeting a new neighbor. It takes a little time to get acquainted before things gel just right.
