How often in a lifetime could a person be betrayed without falling apart completely?
I was loved and cherished by four amazing men who showed me that after being beaten down hard, it was always possible to get back up.
It was easy at first to tell myself that things would only get better, and that everything I went through was the worst that could’ve ever happened to me.
For a while, I really made myself believe that life was finally taking it easy on me.
Seven Rue is an international bestselling author. Born and raised in a small town by the Lake of Constance in Switzerland, she loves writing books that not only make hearts melt but also push limits. When she's not writing, you can find her on long walks with her pup, Bowie, or kicking around a ball on the soccer field.
Other than the fact that it reads like a goddamn Wattpad, the heroine is a brainless fucking idiot. She’s supposed to be this soft, selfless and empathic person, NO. She’s just a naive imbecile. Noodles for brain
How the fuck does your rapist come to you, and just because he seems a little unkept you think "He looked like a mess. Desperate. Depressed. I had to make sure he was okay. In the end, he was still human."
No you senseless cretin. HES A GODDAMN RAPIST. STFU
This fool finds a random man standing infront of her appartement building, he tells her he’s a plumber and she just gives him access to the building. Even invited him to her house🤦🏽♀️. He offers her a can of Soda and she just drinks it. Next thing you know she’s getting kidnapped and she’s over here thinking
"He drugged me. He dressed up as a plumber, acted like a nice guy, and then he fucking drugged me. How naïve was I? God, I’m so stupid!" Yes you fucking are Sinclair 🙄
"He betrayed me a second time, and I hated how I didn’t foresee any of this."
Literally everybody could’ve foreseen this. My 3yo niece could’ve foreseen this shit.

Nothing happened. Even the sex scenes were so short and uninteresting. I still don't know any of the guys' personalities or jobs. I am disappointed. The only great thing is that the fmc was not used and abused.
As always, another fantastic read from Seven. She really does know how to do great age gap romances.
Sin and her men go through quite a bit in this from the return of Renner and Sins career taking off. Sin is also 100% one of my favourite characters from Seven. She's just a fantastic character.
Why are we fading to black when its mmmmf? I want the gritty details, the good stuff, the creme de le creme. What did i get? Nothing but disappointment.
This boooook. 😭 I actually wanted to cry at the end…rather that’s because it was such a sweet ending and frank ocean was playing in the back or not doesn’t matter!!🤭💕
Sin 2 by Seven Rue is a dark reverse harem age gap romance. This is the second book in the Sweet As Sin Series.
I read book one and wasn't a big fan since it had very little plot or character development. But I did see there was a book two and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, I still felt the same way with this book.
I enjoyed this so much!! The tension throughout this book was amazing! I was kept on my toes the whole time!! I’m so glad that Sin and the boys got their revenge! And the smut! 🔥🔥🔥 I enjoyed this series so much! If you want a tension filled, smutfest AND quick series to read, this is the one!
Okay, I nearly gave up on this series altogether after the first one but I heard it got better and I really wanted to give it a go. This book was almost a very big DNF. I got to the mention of vomit and nearly yeeted it away.
Thankfully it was a false alarm. Moving on, apart from that incident, I liked this one way more than the first one. It had a plot, and I felt like I got to know the men and Sinclair better as their own individual characters. The character development was good, I loved being able to see her flourish again despite everything.
However, really Link? 🥲 It was kind of annoying how we didn’t get to see him be called out for his actions in regard to keeping contact. He knew of Renner’s plan and didn’t try to stop it. That made absolutely no sense to me.
Spice: 7/10 - there were a few scenes where I was like, ‘is that necessary? She isn’t giving off the ‘I’m definitely into it vibes’. From memory, there were two scenes where she was really unsure and hesitant to play along and then ended up just going along with it anyway and that didn’t sit overly well with me (though she didn’t call a safe word and have it ignored so I continued)
Overall, I didn’t mind it.

Sinclair went through it once again but dang if she didn’t show her resilience and how strong she could be no matter what was thrown at her. This book first starts a couple months later from the previous book and everything is going well for Sin. Hot men at her side, loving coworkers, a semi good boss, and a job she loved. The “love-making” (idk if they sensor $3x), my gosh like hello DVP, a risky and dangerous night on a glass railing on the terrace, a little pool adventure, etc. Unfortunately, the past came and destroyed her trust in people, vulnerability, and her alertness around others to be hindered due to another traumatic experience done by the same man who hurt her before. But I felt like that experience made her that much more stronger and willing to fight for what she wanted both in her professional and personal relationships. Now, while Link’s admission was a little merky there I understand the reasoning on doing it in the first place and not telling the men but like at the same time still kinda a little f’d but it worked out. All in all, such a great read and another Seven Rue book I so desperately love 🫶🏼
Sinclair is still with her men and still working in the same boutique but her relationship with the guys has evolved to more than it was in the first book when they was just starting out after a night of sharing Sin. In this book Sinclair is now with all of the guys… Archer, Link, Ford and Tabour but with Archers and Sinclairs relationship being slightly stronger due to them being together before introducing the others to the dynamic…
This book has some triggers so as always check your trigger warnings!!!!
Sin is kidnapped in this book by the guys old friend Reener who took advantage of Sin back in book one… he wants Sinclair all to himself and doesn’t believe she should be shared to he makes a plan to drug her and hold her captive but….
Links been keeping in secret contact this whole time with Reener because as he believes, keep your friends close but your enemies closer and thank god he does because his the one able to save Sin who’s already had a traumatic past.
The guys all work hard after to make Sinclair happy and find her comfort again, I’m looking forward to hearing from more of them in book three.
3.5 stars for this book. Look the book is better than the first I’d say their is more of story line but it was more quick to the point rather than the scene lasting longer especially when she gets kidnapped. Also the story line was very predictable, so predictable that they were pretty much were telling you what was happening or what was going to happen with Link especially. They could have also explored Renner’s storyline better as well if felt as if it was mentioned once or twice boom he kidnaps Sinclair and then he’s gone then bam nothing about it ever happened again. To be fair though it was better than the first book, I just wished more was explored as well. And I’m sorry I don’t know if this is just me but the nickname kitten gives me the ick it’s giving uwu. Am I wrong? But the book is fine I guess I mean it’s exactly something you read on wattpad, simple and nothing too shabby. Maybe 3.5 stars is too much to be giving this book.

After reading Sin, I expected more of the same, smut and little to no plot however I was pleasantly surprised when there was a plot. We got to be teased with a bit more information on each, their found family and relationship growth and of course the pesky “he shall not be named” that caused trouble.
I did enjoy this book, it was a great quick read that I would recommend if your after why choose, found family, smut that’ll make you blush and a bit of a twist that gives you that rush of “oh no!”. We got to see Sinclair pursue her dreams, great solid relationships and find love with all of her men 🫶.

This is book 2 in the Sweet as Sin series. Make sure to read the prequel “Sin” before starting Sin 2. Sin is still dealing with the aftermath of what happened to her while trying to establish a deeper relationship with Archer, Ford, Link and Tabor. However, someone’s obsession has become more intense and it’s up to the guys to protect what’s theirs.. Seven can definitely make some hot steamy scenes *whew* Can’t wait for what she writes next!

Ecco. La protagonista è così.
With part two of the book the story makes sense. There is more input on the characters and they even developed throughout the story. As in the first part it's easy to understand and written in simple English. The story of Sinclair being with (know "only") four men isn't that disturbing anymore. I want to point out that everything that happens in the book in-between the harem happens with consent. I need to state out that there are moments where actions aren't consensual so watch for your feelings and mental state while reading.
Compared to the first one, this was 10x better. Still mostly smut, but way better- less teenage boy fantasy type of feeling.
The twist was kinda predictable, and the trauma Sinclair experiences (AGAIN) is terrible. The author did a fair job on how some cope after SA happens, and the amount of time it can take to heal from that. This book doesn’t describe the SA itself in detail, but the mental impact the situation has is spot on.
I definitely need a lighter read after the dark places I’ve been put in from books recently. Dang.
