I'm so glad we're back with the core Furin crew and get Sakura back as our main character. The last few volumes haven't had as much weight for me- I would rather get backstory for the characters I already know before the newest additions and see some fights that have meaning for the whole team.

Me ha encantado Suzuri. Es increíble que en esta historia absolutamente todos los “malos” (menos los de Keel) me hayan caído bien!!! Me ha derretido el corazón cuando Tsubakino se ha ofrecido a ayudarlos a todos. Se les nota unos buenos chicos y me alegra mucho que tengan tantas ganas de trabajar y ser personas de provecho.

Y me parece muy adorable el punto de vista que ha adoptado Sakura después de haber visto a Nirei y sus compañeros en la batalla con Keel. Se nota que Sakura no quiere nada malo para los suyos, y se puede ver que les ha cogido mucho cariño❤️‍🩹

Luego, la aparición de Endo… bro salen de una y se meten en otra JAHSJSH. He de decir que entre todos los personajes contra los que han peleado, este es el que más me llama la atención.
Y MW HA HECHO MUCHA GRACIA CUANDO SE TIRA DEL 2DO PISO Y SE HACE DAÑO AJDHJQHSJSHD EL TÍO ES INCREÍBLE MEMEO.

Y la escena de Suzuri comiendo, cuando luego dice que le gustan los videojuegos y se pone a jugar… Es tan heartwarming ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 Este manga es increíble uf.

Me ha encantado la diferencia entre lo bueno que es Nirei jugando y lo malo que es Sakura JAHSJSH. Es graciosísimo.

Me parece muy graciosa también la rivalidad entre Sugishita y Sakura. Y me ha encantado que la excusa de Umemiya para llegar tarde sea literalmente traer comida JAHDJDH. Le pega tanto.

Y me dan mucha curiosidad los otros dos reyes de Bofurin. Sobre todo Momose.

Y he de decir que la introducción al pasado de Bofurin me ha dado un poco más de pereza de leer. Pero sé que es un capítulo necesario porque se avecina pelea de la buena 🍿.

I’m once again thriving as I return to my favorite boys 💖 This was a delightful volume in this series!

One of the things I appreciated about this volume was something that Tsubaki brought up. He talked about how sometimes sacrificing yourself isn’t really the solution to a problem. When you have people willing and able to fight for you, trying to surrender to the enemy is just adding insult to injury. Your friends have already put in the blood, sweat, and tears. Therefore, you should let them finish what they started for the greater happiness of all. It was an interesting perspective 🤔 It was the first time where I actually understood this kind of situation. I tend to lean towards the mentality of if one person needs to be sacrificed for the greater good of everyone else, then I’m willing to make that sacrifice. Tsubaki, however, explained perfectly why that isn’t the best scenario. As long as you have people who want to fight for you, you should let them because then you’d all be happy in the end if they succeed.

Beyond that, I love how idealistic Sakura is. He’s truly my number one meow meow because his heart is so sweet. In the grand scheme of things, he hasn’t known the other Furin boys for all that long, but he’s such a ride or die for them 💖🥺💖 It melts my heart! I wanted to cry at the scene where he talks about how he wants a world in which his friends never get hurt, and Kanji encourages him to continue to pursue that ideal. It just goes to show how much everyone around him wants to genuinely encourage and nurture this tenderness and care that’s been inside him all along. I love my boy so much 😭 He finally has friends, and all he wants is for them all to be happy and safe 😩

Finally, I’m really looking forward to learning more about Endo and Chika. They both seem so interesting as polar opposites to the Furin boys. Not to mention, their character designs are impeccable. They both have such feral vibes. I’m concerned, though, about how things will go with them. Of all the antagonists we’ve had so far, they seem to be the most genuinely threatening. Neither the Devotees of Power, Keel, nor Gravel were particularly pathetic, but Endo and Chika have an extra edge that makes them more concerning…

Anyway. I’ll continue on my journey with this series, and I’m looking forward to reading the next volumes as it’ll finally be stuff that hasn’t shown up in the anime!

P.S. I absolutely adored seeing the boys play video games. Sakura was so adorably competitive 💖😩💖 I would protect him with my LIFE. Let my baby boy win! He deserves it 🥹

P.P.S. My favorite moments in this series are always going to be when the boys are spending some quality bonding time with each other sharing a meal and being normal teenage boys ✨

Four kings of furin? More like four kings of therapy. Honestly the leadership of Bofurin doesn’t even need to be in class, they’re clearly all well on their way to becoming therapists.

Tsubaki said everything that i was thinking about that girl so well omg. I literally thought the same but didn't knew how to say it. Glad tsubaki-chan didn't let anyone silence them from that scolding. The girl truly needed it hammered on her head. And that's the only way for them to not harbor any ill feelings afterward.

Wondering what kinda backstory Yamato endo have or is he just a psychopath? though i aint forgiving him for saying this bullshit to our baby!!!! HE MUST APOLOGIZE TO HIM!!!
I love how everyone went from "wow he is hot" to "shut your mouth you a-hole" when said those words to Sakura this fandom is really protective of our Tsundere Baby.

Okay not just fandom but most of the WB characters are protective of Sakura. The way Nirei Spoke up despite him being scared, the way tsubaki and kanji jumped to punch him and Suo raging up kicking him just because he said Sakura doesn't belong in furin Aww they care about him so much. And this is one of the reasons why I love Sakura. He may have his own traumas and worries, but in the end, he still knows his stuff. Despite all the fears his past gave him, his core is full of strength and confidence. This makes him really really cool.

Love the way sugishita always testing sakura's patient. So cute to see sakura mad like that.
Ok this new guy does seem very strong and scary.... Another psychopath.

So this volume finally revealed more about Endo and Furin’s backstory, how Ume and the four king’s created Bofurin. I don’t like Endo. Periodt.

How dare he said Sakura deserves to be alone??? Hell nah–and I’m glad Sakura’s pissed off enough to hate Endo’s guts too. I don’t care if he’s strong or hot or have tattoos all over. I hope Sakura’ll beat your ass someday 😤

"The fun things...the enjoyable things...are all just...stuff we use to pass the time...until our life ends."

The fight on Keisei Street against Gravel has officially reached its conclusion! But that doesn't mean the trouble is over. Before the Furin boys and Roppo Ichiza can celebrate, the true manipulator behind all of this (and more) is revealed to be Yamato Endo, a former Furin student. This leads us to learning more about the formation of Bofurin - and why Endo has suddenly appeared once again.

We've finally reached the traditional post-arc reflection period, but it seems Nii has other plans in store for us. The scenes before and after Endo interrupts, though, are still very sweet. Kanji is definitely my favorite among the Roppo Ichiza group. Like Umemiya, he probably sees Sakura as a (somewhat naive) little brother, but he also acknowledges him as a leader in his own right. As I suspected, the fight against KEEL deeply affected Sakura and he now seems to use that experience as his basis for his newly forming leadership style. I'm glad Sakura has another character like Kanji to learn from by talking to him and watching him fight.

The introduction of Yamato Endo and learning more about the year it took to officially form Bofurin forms the backbone of this volume. Endo is such an interesting character. As Tsubaki says, it's hard to understand what he's thinking, so it's hard to predict what he will do. He says he's going to return to Furin soon, but for what purpose? I'm also glad we're starting to get into the history of Bofurin, specifically what happened to the students who did not agree with Umemiya. As shadows that loom behind the current Bofurin, it's inevitable that they would have to turn around and face them eventually. And it seems Sakura is ready to face them head on.

Aquí es donde termina la temporada 2 del anime así que en el siguiente volumen se vienen cosas que no he leído. Ya me he leído el anterior volumen hoy pero es que vi que Endo era la portada de este volumen y... well, pasaron cosas. LA ESCENA DE CUANDO SE TIRA AL SUELO DESDE EL TEJADO ES PEAK COMEDIA. Me encanta, él es mi favorito por ahora y sale tan poco que hay que disfrutar de cada segundo en el que sale.
Conocer más sobre el pasado de Furin me ha gustado mucho, yo todo lo que sea lore ahí estoy para conocerlo y disfrutarlo.
La referencia a Mario Kart tmb me ha parecido momentazo.
En fin, estaremos actualizando sobre esta historia a partir de ahora porque se vienen cositas

I don’t know how I feel about this arc. I like shounen, but when it gets into the endless “big boss, bigger boss” track, it can be a bit tedious.

It’s kinda funny that Bofurin has only existed for a couple of years and has such a good reputation in the area. I would not expect them to be trusted after such a short time, nor that every student coming in the last couple of years would also join their team. But I suppose that’s the part where suspended disbelief comes in. That and the fact that no teachers or education seems to be taking place 😂

Not the greatest volume, since it's mostly ending the last "fight"/moral lesson, and then establishing new foes and some lore about the schools current climate. I find it a bit hard to get into the seriousness of the conflicts because of the setting. It's very different in some kind of fantasy setting, but with it being so close to reality everything seems ridiculous. I guess, I'd have to see it more from like a gang lense. Like real life gangs also take turf fights and grudges very seriously, and this series is the same, I guess.

WHO ARE YOU. .... you got some aura that i gotta respect tho. i already know this sakura vs endo fight is going to be AMAZING. but please do not break down everything sakura has already built up about himself PLEASE. and then lore??? about endo and furin and what really happened... oh its so good man. and someone stronger than ume ... i know that they will 100% fight and its going to be great.

My tattoo man has a real introduction and we get lots of back story on him. I have been enjoying the mix of fight and then information with character building. Its good. I have got only 2 more volumes from the library right now but I am excited to read more. Even though there are so many characters in this story I am not having a hard time keeping everyone straight and I think its the character design.

Endo and Takiishi remind me of Shishitoren arc at the beginning NGL. Though, I did enjoy that this volume covered Bofurin and Furin's background and how it came to be. This volume felt just OK, not my favorite.
Actually, it's a great volume for the plot and story line. I guess without any major fights, it's kinda slower for me.

The art continues to be excellent, with very easy to follow action scenes (often nit the case with manga) and very good and distinct character designs. The stories are a bit cheesy but they really work and are very engaging.
