Can love bloom in the most unlikely of places?

Amanda is an adventure seeking flight attendant with a passion for shopping and all things "I Love Lucy."

Eddie is a prince who has had his future planned for him since birth. Soon, he'll be leaving the palace to join the British Army.

Their two lives could not be more different.

When Amana's bestie starts dating Eddie's cousin, she never imagined she might actually meet the man she's harbored a serious crush on since childhood, until she literally bumps into him.

Eddie has tagged along with his royal cousin to Southern California for a visit.

With her heart racing wildly and her mind drawing a blank, all Amanda can manage to say is, "Hi. I'm Amanda. I'm the bestie. You're even more gorgeous in person. Oh snap. I didn't mean to say that out loud. I'm being so awkward right now."

Will a prince dance away with this flight attendant's heart?

Amanda is funny, adventurous and smart woman. She is happy that her best friend, Clara, is finally happy after everything that she's been through. When things between Clara and David get complicated, Amanda is here to help them get on the right track. That journey brings Amanda and Eddie together.

David's cousin, Prince Edward, has a bad reputation. He is not behaving like one Prince should. His title has it's own obligations, but all he did was avoiding them. Learning from his mistakes, Eddie finally decides to get serious and gets into the British Army. But before he goes away, he meets Amanda. The instant attraction between them is huge, but can they be toghether? Can two completely different characters get along?

This is the second book of the Unexpected Royals series. I adore the author's style! It's so contagious, I couldn't put the book down. I am loving the Royal moment and I have to admit that I like Eddie a little bit more than David. Yes, he made a lot of mistakes, but he learned from them and tried to become a better Prince, better person. He is so sweet and kind human, the way he showed his love towards Amanda just melted my heart. I don't want to say any spoilers, but the Disney moment was dreamy. 😍

One of the things that made me addicted to Tomi's books is how she does her research on many topics before she starts to write. You can clearly see that she has a huge love for books and a passion for writing. She literally gives every piece of herself to write these stories.

I am in love with her dreamy and Royal books, can't wait for the next part.

At the end of Dancing with a Royal, I had hoped for a story featuring Eddie and Amanda. And that is what Jiving with a Royal is all about. My expectations were a bit high, as I had loved the first book.

I loved that Eddie and Amanda were getting their story told. The Disney scene was fabulous. Loved seeing their relationship bloom. The way Amanda took care of the crew was fantastic. Seeing Amanda and Clara reconnect was wonderful, although I do wish there had been more scenes with the two of them out and about. Eddie starting his military career was interesting, and just what he needed to mature a bit. Oh, and that final scene made me oh so happy for the couple.

Something was missing for me with the story. Maybe it was the fact that our couple was apart more than they were together. Maybe it was the point of conflict, what it was all about, and how quickly it was all resolved. For me it just seemed so minor. I don't know exactly, but the book left me wanting a bit more.

I still enjoyed the book, the characters, and the location. Now I'm curious about the next book in the series as I don't recall who the hero is as I don't recall him being discussed in this book.

Lots of interesting details, plot twists

I truly feel humbled by the sheer amount of research that went into this story. I mean the British military I knew nothing about but to read about the training regimen with horses and uniform details was so interesting I found myself googling for pictures to learn more! I almost Youtubed videos of the royal guards for Pete’s sake. Anyway, I got kind of lost with the Disneyland park details, but that is truly a whole other world in itself.
But back to the storyline. Overall, interesting story. It was a bit more complicated than the first in the series. There were a lot more characters, traveling, and action going on. Very interesting events. I liked Amanda’s character a lot. She was a bit over the top, very vintage, and her own person. But she cared deeply about who people were and not what status or job titles people had. The story took several twists that I didn’t see coming. That made me keep turning the pages.
There were some connections in the storyline that I felt were missing. The story picks up at the end of the first one but without initially giving you enough details to understand the dynamics you walk into. Then the first 25% of the story left me kind of guessing to understand context details of the various visits the Prince made to LA. A bit unrealistic there at the beginning how she was cooking for everyone and the adventures they had.
Rating: 3.5 stars, PG, clean, no on page sex, no fade to black scenes, has unmarried couples living together but no talk of intimacy.

I love Amanda and Eddie together! They are adorable. I felt so bad for Amanda and what happened to her with the accident, her job, and then everything else! I love how Eddie treats Amanda. She is so special to him. I also love Eddie's commitment to the military and him not wanting special treatment. For a prince, he really tries not to do whatever he can get away with. He has really grown from book 1 to this one. I hope in the next book there is a glimpse of Clara and David's wedding.

I enjoyed reading this book, it was good to catch up with Clara and David and to finally have Amanda and Eddie’s story. Amanda is Clara’s best friend (Dancing with a royal) and has been following (Stalking) Eddie through social media and the tabloids for years. Eddie (Prince of Wales) has decided to turn a new leaf and finally grow up. Amanda and Eddie’s story is about the evolution of a relationship. They go from friends to more than friends. All in all it was an easy enjoyable book to read. I received this book from BookSirens. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Jiving With a Royal by Tomi Tabb is a lovely romance, with realistic characters and a wonderfully written romance.
Will Amanda find her future with her dream man, Eddie?
Amanda Collins
Amanda is the best friend of Clara Little from Dancing with a Royal. It was fun to join up with Amanda and Eddie, who have sparked a deep friendship since the besties are now engaged. Amanda has this excellent homemaking hospitality quality and makes everyone feel at ease. While Amanda loves her job as an airline stewardess, the airline that she works for isn't in a good financial place. Amanda may need to find a different path in life. You know the old say "When one door closes, another one opens." I believe our cheerful, good vibrations girl may just have to do that.

I like Amanda. She has such a fabulous outlook on life. I think that she needs to do is not hold her feelings in so much. She should share them with someone, so they don't overwhelm her. Her closest friends are right there, and she just needs to speak up.
Jiving with a Royal CRPrince Edward
Eddie, to his friends, is starting to mature into a stunning individual. He upholds his duties, helps with the charities he cares for, and finds someone to love him. Eddie and Amanda are so cute together. I love the little things that they do for each other. The Disney visits are my favorites. It was nice to see the difference in Eddie after he joined the military, but you could see that he was trying to be a better person before that.

I like Eddie much better in this book than in the first book. I also enjoyed his friendship with his protection detail. It feels like he has figured out who he wants to be and who he wants to be with.
Five Stars
I was entirely entertained by Jiving With a Royal. The character growth was marvelously written. The additional settings are outstanding again. I loved the addition of Disneyland and Disney in Paris. Oh, and the "jiving" was so adorable. My rating for Jiving With a Royal by Tomi Tabb is five stars. I genuinely recommend this book and series. I believe that we will see great things from Tomi Tabb in the future.

As a Book Reviewer, I received a free ebook copy of Jiving With a Royal by Tomi Tabb and this is my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review nor any review of this book.

Jiving With a Royal is the second book in the Unexpected Royals series by Tomi Tabb. It is another entertaining, fun, clean romance story. Amanda Collins is Clara Little’s best friend, so when Clara’s fiance’s best friend shows up, Amanda isn’t quite sure how to act. She’s only been following his life, through the media, for years and has had a crush on him just as long. But now, he’s here in the flesh, in her apartment.

Amanda is a delightful character. She loves to cook. She loves Disney World and I Love Lucy. Eddie has never met anyone like her before. His life has been filled with troubles he’s trying to put behind him, and Amanda’s free spirit approach to life intrigues him.

Tomi Tabb is a talented author with a gift for creating delightful, relatable characters. Her stories are well written and I have enjoyed both books in her Unexpected Royals series and continue to look forward to more clean, fun romance stories by Ms. Tabb.

If you are an American who finds the British Royalty fascinating or you just enjoy lighthearted romance stories, you’re sure to love Jiving With a Royal by Tomi Tabb.

I give Jiving With a Royal by Tomi Tabb 5 stars.

A Royal Romance

I was not nearly as impressed with this book as I was with the first in the series. It seemed to drag in places and leave you wondering what was going on behind the scenes.

Another Hit!

Disneyland, a flight attendant and a prince. In case that doesn't catch your fancy, let's throw in some serious horsemanship, binge watching I Love Lucy, and some very romantic dates. What's not to love?! On to the next book...
