I really don't like Penelope I feel like she is up to something and I wonder if she is linked to the stalker. I like all the prince's and I hope she doesn't have to choose and that what unites the four kings one queen. I can't u dersatnd why they are all powerful but can't remove her red bracelet

I loved it!

It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. Welcome to Mate Academy, which is a boarding school where paranormal beings go to find true love. This is the story of Princess Freya Pierce. At the Four Kings’ Party, she made the decision to become a werewolf. The stakes are high, she has to find a mate or she risks destroying her family’s legacy. She’s had her eyes on Marco Valenti forever, but now there are so many guys who want to date her and she’s not sure who she’ll choose in the end. Unfortunately, that’s not all, with Option #10 threatening to ruin her life and cause her to become a Red Flag, life just got a little more complicated for her. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I highly recommend to everyone.

Jesus Christ. I don't even know where to begin. I don't understand how these authors can write an entire book about literally nothing. Aside from this book being waaaay too short (only taking me like an hour to read), it was full of nothing. Weeks pass by without so much as a word about the character's daily lives. The relationships are laughably bad. "Oh, you're my top choice even though we haven't spoken a SINGLE word to each other." Even worse than the plot being downright bad...these authors have literally written a dozen other books exactly like this one. The same exact characters, the same exact problems, the same exact creatures. These books are shameless money grabs and it frustrates me to no end.

Terrible. 0.5/5.0

Indecisive

I liked Freya in the first book but was annoyed by her because kept talking about Chase so much that it seems desperate yet after two months they've spent zero time together and Marco who she had a crush on for years she doesn't like as much. It makes her seem indecisive and immature. It would be understandable if she was talking as much about Holden a guy who she actually spent time with but she's not. Then when she finally seems like she's going to call Chase on his behavior she just lets it go. It's starting to make me not care if she gets red flagged. If I wasn't curious about who option 10 was I probably wouldn't continue. The book would have been really enjoyable if most of her conversations weren't around a guy she didn't know

Read April 23rd 2024 (in one sitting)

Again loved the twists and turns.
I thought Penelope would end up being a snobby up herself b**** but it was more an act, I still feel off about Katie and I'm really not liking their mother right now.
I want to know more about the king's and their history together to understand everything better but they same kind of thing is always said.
Plus this series hasn't had grammar errors but I would have thought she would learn alot more about her royalty and race by now.
And one thing I don't understand is it's been months and still no dates????
For not being precise on important details for the readers I'm rating down to a 4 from the 1st book.

Meh

That ending wasn’t what I was expecting. I honestly don’t know if I will continue to read the series. She’s already wishy washy, continuously forgets Marco can read her thoughts, and all she thinks about in front of him is the other princes and Jonah. Marco was a huge focal point in the first book and she’s changed. I don’t know. She would change with the knowledge of who she truly is, but she’s being deliberately obtuse around him and it’s hurtful. The writing was good, storyline ok, but the ending just ruined it for me.

SO DANG SHORT!

SO GOOD BUT WAY TOO SHORT! Just got good then it ends and you have to wait months for the next book not cool. And to have to wait months for audible not cool. However the series is awesome. This author has other series we all can read while we wait for the next book. I myself have read them all already and can highly recommend them all. Trust me they all are great books and are completely worth reading!! Happy Reading!

Slow burn

Freya seems obsessed with one particular option and seems to for go all others because of her obsession. It doesn’t help that she has a stalker who will destroy her if she doesn’t choose him.
The story so far is enjoyable and so is the plot. This is a slow burn series with a main character who keeps forgetting that someone can read her mind.
I will continue the series for now.

2.5 ⭐️
The story is interesting. I was excited to read this after the first book, but there was too much complaining and repeating. And, why did she have to turn into a bear shifter? That's similar to the last series. I had higher hopes for this one, but I'm a bit disappointed. Hopefully, book three will redeem this series.
