Ice Cold Cases
Sam Hernandez welcomes his son-in-law, former homicide detective Bo Whitney to Hernandez Security and Investigations. Bo joins his partners from the force, Adam Trent, and Bo’s wife, Samantha Hernandez-Whitney. While the team is happy to be working together again, this time in the private sector, they are not surprised to learn that police forces all over the country are struggling under a backlog of unsolved homicide cases. Sam has contracted with several overworked police departments for his team to work the growing number of cold cases.
Many of the cases need nothing more than advanced forensic technology which was not available at the time the cases went cold. But a few cases emerge that the team finds so challenging they enlist the talents of their favorite computer geek—Lester Pennyworth.
After months of following dead-end leads, Bo sees a disturbing pattern in those frustrating cases. He shares his suspicions with his team. Although skeptical at first, they soon realize there is more to these puzzling cold cases than Bo’s crazy conspiracy theories. As they work to untangle a massive and well-funded web of a shadowy but far-reaching elitist organization with long-held secrets, Bo’s conspiracy theories seem less crazy. If an arrest is to be made, the team must proceed with extreme caution to catch an ice-cold killer.
